Chapter 354: The First Day of Reconciliation, Gnawing at Little Girl’s Body
Sure enough, all Dragon Brother did was stare at himself with that smug grin, as if he’d just pulled off some epic prank.
Meanwhile, you still didn’t quite know what was going on—his evilness was just too much, making you believe your own lies.
Dragon Brother’s eyes sparkled with a mischievous smile as he gently stroked the Little Girl’s cheek. “You care about me, don’t you? That kind of subconscious concern—the kind you can’t hide.”
“I do not care about you!” you shot back, arms crossed.
He hugged Hu Yu Ying softly, burying his face in her neck, voice thick with a congested nasal tone, like a girl pretending to be sad with a stuffed-up nose: “Ah Ying.”
For a moment, Hu Yu Ying stopped resisting and let him hold her, breathing in the scent of her neck—crisp and tingling.
Heavy breaths tickled her neck, making her skin tingle like static.
She raised her hand and gently rested it on Dragon Brother’s back of his head. “I just want him to always put me first.”
“You’re always number one to me. From now on, I only have eyes for you.”
“Dragon Brother is such a big fool, a total big fool…”
“Yeah, I’m that big fool. Always making my Little Girl mad, always making my girl cry.”
“But I’ll always put you first. Hope you’ll forgive this big fool.”
Sniffing lightly, she cupped Dragon Brother’s face—”If you promise to treat me well forever and ever, I’ll forgive you.”
“Alright. I, Dragon Brother, will do my best to protect Hu Yu Ying and treat her well.”
He gently patted her back, and before long, someone next to him was snuggling into his arm, breathing steadily.
Carefully rolling over to face Little Girl, he looked at her peaceful sleep, lightly poking her nose with his finger.
Soft fingertips tenderly brushed her still-flushed eyes.
They had promised to be her little follower, to protect her from others, yet somehow, he kept making her cry.
Maybe her movement caused her to snuggle up even more, like a tiny kitten, rubbing against his palm.
Silent chuckle. Awkwardly shifting his body, he held her tightly, placing her hand on his chest, listening to her gentle breathing as she drifted to sleep.
Morning sunlight streamed through the window, spilling all over the room.
Hu Yu Ying stretched lazily—her skin exposed in the chilly air, jolting her completely awake.
She blinked and looked around, dazed for a moment.
Last night, she seemed to recall, she hadn’t taken off her clothes.
She lifted the blanket to check—her entire body, except for her little underwear, was stripped clean.
“You’re awake.” Dragon Brother propped up his head, gazing at the still-sleepy Little Girl with a proud smirk. “Last night, you kept kicking the blanket. I figured it was because you were too hot since your clothes were on.”
“So you took them off for me?”
Dragon Brother chuckled, “No need to thank me. Just a lucky hit.”
He skillfully placed his hand on her adorable little belly. “That’s what big brothers are supposed to do.”
Hu Yu Ying rolled her eyes. “You’re such a perv.”
Since she’s already his girl, she didn’t bother to resist his touch anymore.
She got up, searching for the clothes Dragon Brother had taken off.
Dragon Brother also sat up, quickly wrapping the blanket around her like a cocoon, then handed her the clothes. “I’m going out to buy breakfast. You, little girl, just boil some water and freshen up.”
“Wait a moment,” Hu Yu Ying called softly as Dragon Brother was about to leave.
“What’s wrong?”
She glanced at him, then took a deep breath, removing the blanket—her tender, youthful body fully revealed before Dragon Brother.
Her face blushed crimson as she hurriedly turned her back. “Help me button up.”
Dragon Brother swallowed hard. Her skin was so tender, so fragile, with a slim waist and perky hips. He stepped closer, thinking it wouldn’t matter to delay breakfast a bit.
“Big Brother~” Hu Yu Ying softly called out, her face flushing even deeper. “T-thank you for helping me button up, not taking my clothes off…”
“Just saw an ant, so I’m taking care of it first!” he said, pretending to be innocent.
Hu Yu Ying rolled her eyes speechlessly—what kind of excuse was that?
On the very first day of making up, he was already pawing at her body.
The little white rabbit fiercely resisted but was instantly ambushed by the big gray wolf—wordlessly, he succeeded.
…
An hour of slow, awkward movements later, he finally got dressed.
Dragon Brother looked satisfied, like a legendary pig in hot water—no matter what you do, he’s just comfy as pie!
Seeing him so relaxed, Hu Yu Ying was both embarrassed and mad. The image of the big brother she once admired shattered in an instant.
He used to say he was the most serious big brother, but now? Who’s serious anymore? Big Brother was the most unserious of all.
The most unserious Dragon Brother sighed contentedly, “I think I’ve been poisoned by Little Girl. Only you can be my antidote.”
Little Girl blushed and spat, “Un-serious Dragon Brother.”
Hearing that, Dragon Brother didn’t give Hu Yu Ying any mercy—he immediately threw on his coat, tidied up his outfit, and also fixed his hair. “And now?”
Hu Yu Ying was utterly confused. “What do you mean?”
“Are you being serious now?”
She chuckled softly, her eyes curling into a little crescent moon—impossible to hide her amusement: “I am serious now, I am.”
Dragon Brother gently wrapped the Little Girl in his arms: “Your smile is so pretty.”
“Let’s go, time to eat. I’m starving.” Though he said this, inside, he was feeling all warm and fuzzy.
The streets of Kyoto seemed to have no such thing as cold aloofness.
No matter what time it was, busy-looking pedestrians rushed by in a blur.
But if you looked closer, you’d see the weariness and exhaustion lingering in their eyes.
Only after stepping out of school and entering society could one truly feel how fast-paced Kyoto’s life is.
“Dragon Brother, do you think we’ll stay in Kyoto to work in the future?” Hu Yu Ying asked softly.
Since they had already bought a house here, their future life was pretty much decided—settling in Kyoto.
Dragon Brother seemed to sense her worries: “When that time comes, I’ll bring your grandparents and my Old Man here too.”
“And if one day we get tired of the city life,” he continued, “I’ll take you back to the countryside.”
“I’ll cook for you, and I’ll go plant vegetables. When they’re ready, we’ll sell them in town.”
Thinking about this pastoral life, Hu Yu Ying nodded happily.
“Then we’ll plant fruit trees in the yard, and you sell vegetables while I sell fruit.”
“But the fruit can’t be too expensive, or folks in the town won’t buy it.”
Their eyes met and both smiled—dreams and hopes shining in their gaze…
