Looking at Dragon Brother’s current state, Ye Liang Chen couldn’t help but chuckle. Seriously, the guy had the audacity to ask what he meant!
“I really overestimated you! Thought you were brave enough to own up to your actions, but clearly, I was mistaken!”
He glared at Dragon Brother, his words sharp and unwavering: “Do you dare say you didn’t slap Xue Shao Hua today?”
Xue Shao Hua, feeling the momentum from Ye Liang Chen, chimed in from behind, “Dragon Brother, I’m right here! Care to tell everyone you didn’t slap me?”
“Need a reminder?”
“Just this afternoon, in the restroom on the east side of the athletic field at A University, you slapped my right cheek with your right hand and threatened me not to complain or let it slip!”
“Are you really going to say none of this happened?”
The more Xue Shao Hua spoke, the more animated he became, because the fact was clear—Dragon Brother slapped him! Whatever excuses they made wouldn’t change that juicy reality!
Watching Ye Liang Chen and Xue Shao Hua team up against Dragon Brother, the three little misfits couldn’t just stand by anymore.
“You only say Dragon Brother slapped you. How about explaining why he did it?”
Hu Yu Ying, always eager to uphold her brother’s image, still mentioned “Dragon Brother” but seemed more invested in his defense than anything else!

These two were indeed seriously unhinged.
Lin Wan Ning looked at Ye Liang Chen’s proudly raised neck, as if he were perched on a moral high ground, and she couldn’t help but want to slap that arrogance right off.
Both Ye Liang Chen and Xue Shao Hua were getting anxious, shaking their heads internally.

“Do I need his help? That’s just downright creepy! My slapping him is just mild compared to what he deserves!”
Xue Shao Hua took a step back, afraid, mentally reminding himself, “You slapped him, but don’t slap me, okay?”
Ye Liang Chen, poking at the inside of his mouth with his tongue: “Is this your attitude?”
“Even if Xue Shao Hua is at fault, it was for wanting to help you! So why slap him? And now me too, just because I want to feel noticed in front of you? Dragon Brother, don’t you think that’s a bit excessive?”
“I’ve got nothing to say to you!” Dragon Brother glanced around at the onlookers in the mall, wanting to avoid dragging the three little misfits into this chaos.
Being the center of attention didn’t bother him; he just didn’t want them involved!
“Not so fast!” Ye Liang Chen suddenly blocked Dragon Brother’s exit.
“This situation needs an explanation. Why hit someone trying to help you?”
“He’s so kind, just wanted to assist you! Why treat him like that?”
The more Ye Liang Chen thought about it, the angrier he became. Dragon Brother was about to become the aftermath of their collective chaos, while Xue Shao Hua merely intended to show concern for his future belongings—how could he be treated this way?
Sure, Xue Shao Hua had faults—admitted. But was being violent not Dragon Brother’s wrongdoing?
Ye Liang Chen only aimed to right the wrong against Xue Shao Hua. Was that so bad?
Facing Ye Liang Chen’s relentless banter, Dragon Brother felt a surge of irritation growing within him.
Realizing that reasoning wouldn’t work, they were lost in their own world where right and wrong were defined solely by them.
Drawing a deep breath, Dragon Brother pushed past Ye Liang Chen: “Stop your nonsense, we’re adults! Can we act our age?”
Hearing this, Ye Liang Chen felt struck by lightning. Did he just call him immature?
Ha! Ye Liang Chen laughed, tossing his hair to reveal his “mature” earrings: “I’m immature? Ha! Now, that’s rich! You’re just trying to dodge responsibility!”
Pointing at his chest: “If I’m immature, then are we just supposed to take beatings and stay silent? Is that what’s mature in your eyes?”
“Dragon Brother, the immature one here is you! Mistakes have consequences, and ignoring them is what’s really childish.”
And still, not a peep about why Dragon Brother lashed out.

Li Qing Xue trembled while biting her lip, glaring at Ye Liang Chen: “Enough!”
Ye Liang Chen held his stinging face in disbelief, staring at Li Qing Xue, who had known him for a decade.
He thought Dragon Brother might strike, imagined Hu Yu Ying or even Lin Wan Ning might, but never would he have expected the one to hit him would be Li Qing Xue!
“Could you not lose it right now?”
