Chapter Fifty-Nine: Reshaping Order! [Request for Recommendation Votes]
The Underworld has become desolate.
After the demons plundered, this place was almost turned into ruins, and Soren had to start all over again.
Fortunately, although he had just taken over the divine profession, the memories of his past life already gave him an understanding of death. Even without Ye Ge’s guidance, Soren was able to quickly establish the structure of the Underworld. As for what the past structure was, it was not important; Soren already had his own ideas to improve the framework of the Underworld. A preliminary framework was rapidly completed after Soren’s arrival, and three Otherworldly Messengers summoned Heroic Spirits from the Shadow Divine Kingdom, then transformed them into Death Servants. They were the maintainers of the Underworld’s order, possessing a touch of Divine Power from Death, their strength roughly equivalent to that of Legendary Demons, responsible for upholding the daily operations of the River of Underworld and Judgment City.
Soren’s advantage was that he originally had the foundation of a Divine Kingdom, and the accumulated resources finally came in handy today.
He quickly completed the three most important parts of the Underworld—guiding souls, eliminating rebellions, and judging evildoers.
The Angel of Death was the most powerful among them; she transformed waves of Heroic Spirits into Death Servants, and then Soren granted them a touch of divine power to begin eliminating the wandering undead, demons, and devils that might still exist in the Underworld. These Death Servants, converted from valiant Heroic Spirits, possessed the power to reap lives and could receive enhancements within the Underworld, enough to contend with high-level legendary enemies.
In the darkness.
Many eyes were watching everything in the Underworld.
Numerous gods were waiting to see the spectacle, observing how Soren would restore the devastated Underworld; however, Soren was doing better than they had imagined.
Even Ye Ge himself was unusually surprised because all previous gods of death needed his assistance to manage the Underworld, yet Soren appeared to need none of that; he single-handedly completed the reconstruction of the Underworld.
Waves of Heroic Spirits passed through the portal.
The Death Servants possess unique powers, granted by the River of Underworld, allowing them to fearlessly navigate the waters of the Underworld and to have the special ability to take life. This transformation was ongoing, requiring only a little divine power from Soren’s Avatar to guide it. Soon, there were thousands of Death Servants, obeying commands like an army. Some began to sweep Judgment City, while others patrolled in shifts like soldiers. Meanwhile, another group advanced along the main flow of the River of Underworld, eliminating some wandering demons along the way, and encountered a small squad of powerful Soul Thieves.
These Soul Thieves attempted to provoke the Death Servants, but the price for that was death.
The power of the Underworld was incredibly strong!
After converting nearly five thousand Death Servants, Soren finally felt that the accumulated divine power of the Underworld was nearly depleted.
The foundation of the God of Death System was truly astonishing!
Upon seeing that a portion of Heroic Spirits had not yet been transformed, Soren couldn’t help but cast his gaze toward the high wall in the distance of Judgment City.
— “The Wall of the Faithless!”
He thought about it and ultimately abandoned this bold idea. This wall was erected by the gods, and although it was not used as frequently as in the past, extracting its power would destroy it, something many gods opposed.
Deep within the Sea of the Underworld.
Ye Ge had been observing all this; after a long time, he muttered to himself, “It seems that this one doesn’t need my assistance.”
With that, he picked up the ancient scrolls again.

The army of Death Servants rapidly advanced.
They had pushed from the main flow of the River of Underworld to the Sea of Underworld, then cleaned up the enemies in the tributaries, killing the Soul Thieves who couldn’t escape.

The Judgment Angel, accompanied by a squad of Death Servants, began to guide souls to Judgment City. Soren possessed the powers of Lies and Deception, and as the King of the Dead, no sin committed by anyone could hide from him. The Judgment Angel was granted the power of Truth, and its existence was like that of a judge, deciding the fate of most souls.
Inside Judgment City was a unique space.
There was a massive portal where many souls would wait. Some would proceed to the Divine Kingdom, while others would reach the depths of Hell.
Most souls of the faithless, after undergoing a simple judgment, would enter the River of Underworld, where they would flow to the depths of the Source Sea, the birthplace of souls, and their rightful home.
This world does not have reincarnation.
The duty of the God of Death System does not include arranging for souls to be reincarnated; they are only responsible for sending souls to where they should go.
This world has past lives, but not necessarily future ones.
Upon reaching the Source Sea, souls will be fused, and then new souls will gradually be born.
Mortals wish to exist longer after death; either they go to the Divine Kingdom or reincarnate in other planes, but these are not easy paths. The fate of most mortals is to flow to the depths after death, merging into the source, like the birth of the first soul in the Multiverse.
The waters of the River of Underworld will cleanse all memories.

Order in the Underworld was restored under Soren’s management, and the Death Servants began to guide souls, while the Prayer Weavers, who should belong to the kingdoms of the gods, were waiting for the Otherworldly Divine Servants to arrive.
The entire Judgment City was shrouded in a solemn atmosphere.
Although the number of gathered souls was still small, some order had already been restored.
The Underworld is not a Divine Kingdom.
This is a special plane, while the God of Death System’s Divine Kingdom relies on the Underworld. Soren currently has no plans to transform the Divine Kingdom since the Underworld itself is already an extension of his Divine Kingdom, and his Prayer Weavers can travel back and forth within the Underworld.
For all deities, being a death god is a very heavy responsibility.
Some death gods may even become passive or act entirely according to their own will. But Soren would not do so; he simply reshaped the Underworld according to his own order and managed it using a more efficient method. Currently, he has only completed the basic framework of this structure, but in the future, he has plenty of time to perfect everything.
“The demons have plundered a large number of souls.”
Soren stood at the top of the Crystal Tower, looking down at the entire Underworld, where everything had entered the right track; at the very least, the operation of the River of Underworld had been restored. He gazed at the countless souls beneath him and murmured, “Asmothiels has already obtained the resources he desired. Then the final wave of the Saint’s Cataclysm is about to arrive.”
The gods acted quickly.
Once order was restored in the Underworld, Otherworldly Messengers immediately began to guide souls to the Divine Kingdom.
This would be completed by the twelve Death Angels promoted by Soren, while he himself would temporarily not stay inside the Underworld.
The Saint’s Cataclysm has not yet ended.
The Underworld had already sustained heavy losses, and there was still much for him to do!
