Chapter 96: Late Again
In the afternoon, music started playing.
Xia Yu got out of bed, but instead of waking up in the familiar digital environment of home, she found herself in the school dormitory.
This made her realize she was back at school again, back in this not-so-happy place.
Suddenly, Xia Yu felt something heavy on her—like being crushed under a mountain.

Yanking Xia Yu out of bed, Xia Ling hurriedly put on her shoes because she only intended to take a quick snooze—she didn’t realize time could fly so fast!

Halfway to the classroom, the class bell rang, as expected.
At this point, the homeroom teacher would definitely be in the classroom checking attendance and catching latecomers, which was exactly why Xia Ling was worried.
