Chapter 365: Really Not Mad?
Taking advantage of this time, the three girls first roamed around the campus before lazily returning to the classroom. By now, it was time for distributing books, and their late return had naturally made them the center of everyone’s attention.
Before He Gongxing could say anything, Jiang Hanhang spoke up, “Teacher, Xia Ling and I were in charge of taking out the trash. We just came back from doing that.” With that said, she grabbed Xia Ling by the hand and slipped out of the classroom again, each taking a bin to execute their civic duty. Thus, Xia Yu was brought back to the classroom by these two goofballs but then they ditched her.
Looking at Xia Yu standing there clueless, He Gongxing didn’t blame her for slacking off—it seemed Xia Yu and the others were safe, which was good enough for him: “Alright, go back to your seats.”
Xia Yu obediently waited for permission from He Gongxing before heading to her seat and sitting down.
No sooner did Xia Yu settle in than Gao Xiaotian approached her, “Hey, where were you guys earlier? The class rep almost mobilized the whole class to find you!” “Is it really… that serious?”
Xia Yu was perplexed. She thought it was probably just a matter of being called out over the intercom. “Why don’t you ask someone else?”

She didn’t know many people, and with the previous front-row girls swapped out, the current ones were completely indifferent to her presence. She didn’t want to make things awkward.

After some cheering, the students rushed to the door, fearing they might miss out on lunch.
Xia Yu remained calm as usual. After He Gongxing left, she took out her phone to pass the time, waiting for Xiao Ning Jiejie to pick her up. Jiang Hanhang and Xia Ling did the same, snuggling together while playing on their phones, waiting for Jiang Kekai to show up.
Unlike Xia Yu, Jiang Hanhang still harbored a small hope: Today, she secretly snapped photos of Xia Yu for her sister. She was genuinely curious to see how Sister would punish Xia Yu.
Not long after, Jiang Kekai arrived.
The scene Jiang Hanhang anticipated—a sister grabbing Xia Yu by the bottom and scolding her—never happened. Instead, Jiang Kekai seemed oblivious, treating Xia Yu gently as always:
“Hungry? I’ll take you all to eat.”
“Okay.”
Jiang Hanhang and Xia Ling followed Jiang Kekai and Xia Yu. Now she was truly puzzled by what her sister was thinking.
Could it be she wasn’t the slightest bit mad?
With everything going smoothly, they returned to their designated dorm room. Although it had been a while since anyone stayed there, Jiang Kekai had arranged for someone to clean it daily. Hence, it was pretty much the same as when she left. Especially the quilt, which had been aired out yesterday, giving it a warm and sunny smell.
As for the three girls’ lunch, it was prepared by Master Chen, carefully delivered by his most trusted subordinate to avoid any poisoning incidents. However, shortly after everyone finished eating, Xia Yu’s phone rang. It was Master Chen.
Although they had known each other for a while, Xia Yu still feared the old man greatly—he was always so intimidating. Without much hesitation, Xia Yu answered, “Hello?”
“When will you come to study today?”
Xia Yu understood what Master Chen meant—she’d have to learn cooking. Unexpectedly, after studying cultural subjects during the day, she’d also have to learn culinary skills. Now, Xia Yu hesitated but was too afraid to refuse: “Umm… How about after school? I’ll just go directly after classes end.”

Also at this moment, Jiang Kekai placed a gentle hand on Xia Yu’s head, “Alright, time for our nap. Otherwise, you won’t have enough time for sleep.” “Okay.”
Xia Ling didn’t say anything because she was too tired; now she could finally sleep soundly.
And so, Jiang Kekai led Xia Yu, while Xia Ling led Jiang Hanhang, each headed to their respective rooms.
Once the doors were shut, Jiang Kekai’s face changed to a rather scary smile, though Xia Yu remained oblivious. She entered habitually and flopped onto the large bed, rolling around, “Jiejie, hurry up!” “Alright.”
Jiang Kekai removed her coat and leaped onto Xia Yu like a hungry tiger, sealing Xia Yu’s mouth with hers, rendering her struggles ineffective.
Xia Yu was bewildered. What was Jiejie up to? Why was she being so rough, as if admonishing her? But what had she done wrong? Before Xia Yu could think it through, Jiang Kekai captivated her attention once more.
