### Chapter 2: Seeking Aid from the Night Watchers
The sun was high in the sky.
“Ah-huh~”
After stepping out the door, Night Lan started to sweat profusely, suddenly feeling that the problems were piling up.
Because this was clearly not the Yun Chang City she knew!
“Where am I? Isn’t this Yun Chang City? What kind of weird place has Star brought me now?”

Night Star and Night Lan were munching on breakfast small bites at a time, pondering their situation as they ate.
“Why am I in Shanghe City? Where exactly do I live? My head hurts…”
It ultimately all came down to the fault of the intruding Stars.
Without any surprises, this had something to do with a wish she made before going to bed.
She wanted to fix the Puppet Master’s puppet, and Star responded by sending her here.

A mysterious black-haired loli appeared at the police station, peeking around with a look of hidden distress.
A few on-duty officers noticed her and gathered around.

The police officers looked confused.
With a mixture of hesitation and skepticism, the officers led a Night Watcher from Shanghe City to meet Night Lan.
She was a pretty girl with pink hair and golden eyes, dressed in a special blue-and-white uniform, staring intently at the black-haired loli.
“Small fry, where did you hear about the term ‘Night Watcher?'”
Lan Feng Su Yu squatted down, aligning their lines of sight, with a very serious expression.
“It’s not just what I heard. I’m really a Night Watcher!”
Hearing the doubt in the pink-haired girl’s tone, Night Lan became anxious.

Night Lan curiously watched the young man in his twenties.

“Lan Feng Su Yu, you said you met a Night Watcher claiming to be from the future, yes?”
“Yeah,” Lan Feng Su Yu nodded.
“Are you sure?”
“No, but I think her story might be true.”
“You’re not sure, yet you brought her here anyway? Aren’t you setting her up?”
“But she knows a lot about Night Watchers.”
“That could also mean some chatterbox Night Watcher told her.”
“I considered that, but she said her Stars are out of control…”
The instant those words were spoken, Mo Yu instantly directed his gaze towards Night Lan, who was casually spectating, filled with suspicion and seriousness.

Mo Yu leaned lazily against the wall, closing one eye.

Mo Yu straightened his posture and approached Night Lan, taking a closer look.

Looking closely, the loli was actually quite adorable, making Mo Yu feel a little infatuated.

But Night Lan was indeed cute.
