“Future-bound Night Watcher?” Yao Can growled in a deep voice, his eyes as cold as steel.
Standing a solid one meter eighty, he towered over Night Lan, exuding an intimidating aura.
Night Lan felt quite the pressure, especially from his incredibly powerful gaze, which reminded her of bosses she used to have at work—especially terrifying in its intensity.
“Do you have any evidence?”
Mo Yu shook his head.
“It’s all from her own lips; there isn’t any substantial proof. But I think we shouldn’t ignore it, so I brought her here.”
“Not bad judgment,” Yao Can nodded coldly and scrutinized Night Lan closely.
“If you really are a future-bound Night Watcher, tell me how you arrived here and what your star is?”
“Mmm…”
Though this was a matter of utmost confidentiality, Night Lan felt any Night Watcher could be trusted. Not to mention, they were in a dire situation, so she decided to speak up.
“It’s an Extraordinary Star, something like a Supernova. I was sent here by the power of my star.”

Yao Can stared silently at Night Lan, speechless for quite some time.
Seeing he hadn’t responded, Night Lan couldn’t help but shrink and felt a bit nervous.
“You don’t believe me…?”
“Come with me.” Yao Can said expressionlessly, leading them away.
Night Lan was puzzled but followed nonetheless.
A short while later, Mo Yu led her to a place where there was a blue orb the size of a basketball, floating serenely in midair, looking beautiful.
This was special technology called Know Star—a star-tech device modeled after a specific Night Watcher’s star, capable of perceiving stars and eclipses with strong accuracy.
“Touch it.”
“Oh…”
Night Lan stood on her tiptoes and touched the orb gently. She felt a slight warmth, cool to the touch—pleasantly cozy.
Then, an astonishing phenomenon occurred.
The orb lit up brilliantly, as if reacting to some immense stimulus.
“Identification result: the vessel of a supernova grade, Extraordinary Star. Name: Wish Machine. Conditions unknown, location unknown, danger level unknown. Please contain and control immediately.”
After those words echoed, the light dimmed swiftly.
The scene returned to serene calm.
Night Lan, stepping back quite far, covered her eyes in agony.
“Wah! It’s so blinding!”
She hadn’t had a chance to close her eyes before being dazzled.
What a sudden blast!

Night Lan strongly suspected that the fish-eyed old man was just trying not to tell her, deliberately wanting her to get blinded.

“Huh?” Night Lan was utterly confused.
“Mo Yu, follow me. Lan Feng Su Yu, find her a place to rest.” Yao Can left.
“Yes, boss.”
Lan Feng Su Yu surveyed the young loli, filled with curiosity.
“The future person, first encounter. So you must know a lot of endings for different series, right? I am following many anime, manga, and novels, could you give me early spoilers?”
Night Lan blinked, hesitating.
“But I might not have even seen those works…”
“Yeah, I guess you’re right. Let’s take her to rest.”

Hearing this, another Yang Sun Watcher remarked, “Does this justify involving everyone? Isn’t it excessive?”
Yao Can shook his head directly, gazing intently at him.
“Not only will I mobilize all Night Watchers in Shanghe City, but also seek assistance from other cities. What do you think?”
“What eclipse needs such significant backup?”
