Chapter 237: Kidnapping Little Loli
In no time, Su Xinghe had piloted her flying shuttle, gracefully landing in the messy battlefield where Yun Zhonghe and Su Xiaoxiao had just fought.
Around them, the forest trees laid in ruin thanks to the aftermath of their battle, with traces of lingering spiritual energy hinting at a recent intense skirmish.
She stood firmly on her shuttle, her white robe billowing gently in the wind as she coldly observed the chaos below— the Ghost Vine Tree Demon rampaging all alone.
It seemed no sect disciples had suffered misfortune.
Looks like that person is fine…
Su Xinghe’s tense nerves slackened slightly.
Why was she feeling relieved? There really wasn’t anyone here worth her real concern.
Her azure eyes, deep like an ocean yet weary beyond her age, narrowed slightly. They showed no sign of the innocent wonder typical to girls her age. Instead, they conveyed a mix of apathy, ennui, and resignation.
Just then, the Ghost Vine Tree Demon sensed her presence down below and seemed to be looking for a new target to vent its anger on; locking onto her as its new punching bag, countless tendrils shot up to the sky.
But Su Xinghe merely controlled her shuttle to ascend elegantly, easily dodging those wildly flailing vines— leaving the tree demon to seethe with impotent rage.
Her willowy brows knitted together, her eyes flashing with impatience.
“Ugh, why do I always have to clean up this mess.”
Her voice remained flat, sounding more like one who’d given up on life.
So, Su Xinghe murmured a spell under her breath, her fingers forming a delicate incantation, causing a scorching flame to rise from her palm. Like an angry dragon, it roared towards the Ghost Vine Tree Demon, burning it to ashes instantly.
Though the monster was resilient and could withstand blades and swords, it was defenseless against true fire-based magic—a mere paper doll.
The flames quickly engulfed the vine demon, turning its massive form into blazing inferno in moments, until only a heap of ash remained. A potent essence of spiritual energy rose from within, returning to the larger enchantment matrix nearby.
Meanwhile, hiding in the shadows, Yun Zhonghe watched intently.
“An excellent opportunity! Finally, I got her!”
His eyes gleamed with a cunning light, fixed on the slight figure of Su Xinghe, while he rubbed his hands together eagerly. It was like he was stalking a loli, which was totally not him—he was pure and honorable.
His intentions had nothing to do with perverted thoughts… right? Never mind how things sounded.
He currently had Su Xiaoxiao safely hidden away, having applied an invisibility charm and used a stone from Daoist Hu for enhancement. His presence was completely concealed, and Su Xinghe hadn’t noticed a thing.
Right now, Yun Zhonghe pondered seriously about how to abduct Su Xinghe undetected.
Yun Zhonghe couldn’t handle this himself; he needed help.
Ah-ha! He already had the perfect assistant!
Yun Zhonghe communicated through mental bonds: “Xue Yunjian, please help me out!”
Xue Yunjian responded with a cute, sleepy voice: “Mmm… so sleepy, did I miss something important?”
Despite the adorable tone, her words were quite embarrassing.
Yun Zhonghe: “No, I didn’t just summon you to laze around, did I?”
Xue Yunjian: “Huh? Why else would you call me, then?”
Yun Zhonghe looked furious, but he had nothing to say.
“Hear me out,” Yun Zhonghe said desperately, “appear before me and help with this task. Once done… I’ll spend the night together with you!”
Yun Zhonghe gritted his teeth, making a bold proposal.
For the sake of the heroine, he’d endure this—sacrificing his body.
Xue Yunjian was silent, perhaps calculating.
After a moment, she spoke: “Three nights?”
Yun Zhonghe’s grin wavered: “Impossible! Just one night!”
As the master, he couldn’t allow his sword spirit to negotiate. She needed to understand who was boss!
Xue Yunjian insisted: “Two nights, and no less.”
Yun Zhonghe: “One night it is.”
Xue Yunjian puffed up cutely, almost in a huff: “How can you talk to your master like that?”
But Yun Zhonghe had his pride. He wouldn’t let his spirit walk all over him.
He had leverage to negotiate.
He knew Xue Yunjian couldn’t resist him. Even if it was just a single night, she would comply.
Three nights were too much. Yun Zhonghe needed rest and continued training. Training brought joy.
“I’ll compromise, one night only!” Yun Zhonghe emphasized, “But you can add conditions, as long as they’re reasonable.”
This was his limit.
Xue Yunjian took her time to mull it over: “Agreed! Let’s make a deal. Before we start, I need you to take YuanDan, YuanYang Powder, JingWan, and Divine Power Pills…”
She listed several names for strengthening formulas, all aimed at bolstering masculinity.
Yun Zhonghe’s eyes bulged in disbelief.
Xue Yunjian added with a sigh: “These requests aren’t unreasonable. No backing out later, master.”
Oh man, this was intense.
After some deliberation, Yun Zhonghe reluctantly agreed.
Xue Yunjian chirped happily, making herself visible immediately.
Yun Zhonghe pulled her aside, whispering instructions to disguise.
Sure, being a spirit, she couldn’t change appearance or shape, but clothes were no issue. She loved dressing up as a bunny girl— her own personal kink.
He suggested she wear black attire and a mask, perhaps a bit risqué.
So she dressed in an alluring office lady outfit— tight skirt and suspender stockings—complete with an all-black look.
Mask in place, she stuck out her tongue playfully as she approached Su Xinghe unsuspectingly.
While Su Xinghe was focused on the aftermath of the battle, the masked woman snuck behind her and knocked her out with a swift strike.
Before Su Xinghe could react, she crumpled, unconscious, into the arms of her captor.
“Now, what shall I do with her?” Xue Yunjian teased. Her voice held a playful edge as she began stripping Su Xinghe.
Yun Zhonghe stopped her abruptly. Was she really treating him like a loli fanboy?!
“Wait, isn’t this because you’re obsessed with Mu Jixue?”
“No, no! Shut up! Don’t speak!”
He wasn’t a loli fanatic—it was just a coincidence! But why was the narrative getting weird?
Feeling regret, Yun Zhonghe realized inviting Xue Yunjian had been a terrible decision unless all other options were exhausted.
In a distant part of the forest, Su Xiaoxiao remained quiet, waiting for Yun Zhonghe’s return after she had been told to stay put due to an emergency.
She sat under a tree, eyes closed, resting and preparing to regain her energy.
Just then, she heard a strange noise, lifting her head, she saw the black-clothed woman carrying another girl, passing by overhead.
It looked more like the woman was jogging than flying.
Confused, Su Xiaoxiao blinked.
“Strange, is she just ignoring this?” Xue Yunjian wondered.
Not even running to help, let alone standing up.
Her expression bewildered.
From nearby, Yun Zhonghe shouted: “What is wrong with you? Can’t you see she needs saving?”
Isn’t this a classic scenario for saving each other—why are you oblivious?
