### Chapter 162: “So, It’s Settled!”
Hearing these words, Lin Tian suddenly lost his confidence and retracted his head back by two centimeters.
“He Zhi Chen, I mean, Brother Zhi Chen, can big data really be used for this?”
“Of course it can,” replied He Zhi Chen seriously. “If Teacher Lin Tian provides me with enough intel, I can use Teacher Gan Yan Yu’s dietary preferences, lifestyle habits, hobbies—basically, all sorts of data points—to help plan out everything from location to outfit choices and even pick-up lines. I’ll tailor a love confession strategy that has the highest chance of success.”
“Wow, you’re like a miracle doctor!”
Lin Tian grabbed He Zhi Chen’s hand, tears welling up in his eyes.
“How did you know I’ve been stressing about this lately?!”
At this moment, He Zhi Chen seemed to tower over Lin Tian, no longer just someone who tinkers with tablets.
“I said it before—I prefer talking about dreams rather than cold data,” He Zhi Chen proclaimed with his arms spread wide. In Lin Tian’s imagination, he was an angelic figure, resembling Victor fused with Hex crystals, exuding a god-like aura.
Of course, this glorious vision was only in Lin Tian’s mind.
Yet, seeing Lin Tian so moved, He Zhi Chen choked up.
Turns out Lin Tian hadn’t been listening to any of his detailed plans about music lessons, training, or studio setups. Instead, something simple mentioned by Lin Tian triggered a strong emotional response.
Was Lin Tian’s dream really about music, or… was it all about Gan Yan Yu?
Just as He Zhi Chen wanted to say more, Lin Tian put up a palm, signaling him to be quiet. His eyes were fixed on Gan Yan Yu.
He already felt good but wanted to see how Gan Yan Yu would respond to this proposal—right?
“Gan Yan Yu,” whispered Pu Yi Dan as she approached her side.
The young woman was still staring at the trainees in the practice room, hardly saying a word since entering Lefunyi.
Pu Yi Dan leaned close to her ear and followed her gaze.
“You were staring at yourself, weren’t you?” asked Pu Yi Dan with a smile.
Gan Yan Yu turned her head, looking puzzled.
“You still seem unsure, just like when I stumbled. Was it because of a setback?” asked Pu Yi Dan, smiling warmly at her.
“Yes,” replied Gan Yan Yu, nodding.
“Do you know what they call me at work?”
Gan Yan Yu shook her head.
“They call me a tyrant, a female Caesar. It shows they respect my leadership. Any project I lead is guaranteed success, and my team never brings up the rear. They call me a boss lady for a reason.”
Gan Yan Yu raised a strand of hair three times around her index finger.
Though she had never worked a day in her life, she somewhat grasped Pu Yi Dan’s words.
She just didn’t understand how such a transformation occurred.
In a role, one couldn’t fake it—they had to become better first.
Gan Yan Yu understood this too.
“Your identity gives them confidence; with more positive affirmations, they’ll grow and so will you, always encouraging yourself.”
Pu Yi Dan smiled again.
“So, dear Gan Yan Yu, what do you seek in your self-discovery?”
Gan Yan Yu turned silently, walking back to Lin Tian.
“What’s wrong?”
Lin Tian, unsure of their conversation, noticed Gan Yan Yu looking somber.
“We’ve seen enough, let’s go.”
“Doesn’t feel good?”
“No, quite okay actually. Mr. Pu is really great.”
“So, what now?”
“Let Lin Tian decide.”
Gan Yan Yu laughed easily and walked ahead.
“I really want to adopt this kid as my own if I could,” Pu Yi Dan said playfully yet poignantly, hugging He Zhi Chen’s shoulder.
“This makes it your seventh kid to adopt,” commented He Zhi Chen, clearly unhappy.
“Oh, is that true? Then Gan Yan Yu must be the youngest and most adored one now.”
Lin Tian heard them.
“Hey Lin Tian,” called He Zhi Chen.
Since Gan Yan Yu agreed, he hoped to hear Lin Tian’s final answer right away.
“He Zhi Chen,” Lin Tian turned around, He Zhi Chen stood straight, face serious.
“Remember our projection for ‘Moonlight and Cat’ getting signed with a record company, and releasing albums first month?”
“Eleven thousand copies,” He Zhi Chen responded immediately.
“Right, eleven thousand.”
Lin Tian nodded. He had underestimated He Zhi Chen’s memory; he wasn’t just a tablet guy after all.
“Now, with our first MV involving me and Gan Yan Yu, how many do you think we’d sell?”
“It increases sales by sixty-four percent; no less than eighteen thousand, guaranteed!”
“Alright,” said Lin Tian.
There was no need to talk about s*icide if sales didn’t hit eighteen thousand, as He Zhi Chen had his own repayment methods.
The young man raised his index finger, declaring:
“So, we entrust our debut album and MV to you.”
