### Chapter 284: Planning for the New Album
Endorsement?
When he heard these two words, Lin Tian’s spirit lifted slightly.
Back in the old days when Lin Tian and Gan Yan Yu acted as “Moonlight and Cat,” they did take on some ad gigs, but they were mostly small fries. It basically involved inserting a few ads in videos, putting a link in the comment section, and getting paid on the spot.
Now mentioning an “endorsement” made Lin Tian feel like he was jumping into a new realm. Although both were still about advertising, it felt completely different.

“Of course, we need to talk this over with you and Teacher Gan. I know you’ve always been a bit cautious with these things. I’ve turned down some commercial ads for you guys before, so I thought I’d ask.”
He Zhi Chen added.
Lin Tian turned his head and looked at the sleeping Gan Yan Yu, who had her head leaning against the back of the chair and was breathing steadily.
“Let’s discuss this when we get back home,” Lin Tian said with a smile.
This trip to Tokyo had worn him out enough. For now, he decided to put work aside and just rest.

Leaving the luxurious hotel room, he returned to his long-missed home. Gazing at his nest, Lin Tian stretched his arms wide and took a deep breath.

It was his first time away from home for so long, making him feel a bit nostalgic. Every familiar place in the living room, dining chair, sofa, and even the bathroom filled his heart with affection.
Then, Lin Tian took a two-hour bath right away.
Then he went straight to bed and slept deeply.

After waking up, Lin Tian opened his phone and checked He Zhi Chen’s messages. Then, he sent one to Gan Yan Yu that there were important matters to talk about.
Ten minutes later, the doorbell rang.
Gan Yan Yu arrived.
The young woman wore a snow-white fluffy coat, a brown towel wrapped around half her face, and she looked like a lead actress from a Korean drama.
She squatted by the door, asking:
“Lin Tian, do I need to change my shoes?”
“You’ve come here this many times, and you still ask?”
Lin Tian wondered if Gan Yan Yu enjoyed playing this “pretend to be formal” game with him.
If they ever get married, does he have to pretend to meet her for the first time every day?

Seeing Lin Tian ready to take off his own shoes, Gan Yan Yu frantically took off her sneakers and slipped into slippers.
“I won’t remove my socks,” Gan Yan Yu said.
Lin Tian was at a loss and didn’t know what else to say.
“Alright, I’ll order some groceries later, including a pair of slippers.”
“It’s not going to smell or anything,” Gan Yan Yu whispered, her face blushing.
There was no way he would mention the smell, after all.
Lin Tian took Gan Yan Yu into the bedroom.
The southern region could be so annoying.
Even though the average temperature couldn’t compete with the north, indoor temperatures were shockingly cold.
He couldn’t feel his hands or feet even indoors; playing games was impossible, and mentioning it would only get him mocked as making excuses.
Lin Tian turned on the space heater and sat the still-warm Gan Yan Yu in front of the couch. He then got her a cup of hot water.
Gan Yan Yu held the cup with both hands, sipped a bit, then suddenly reached out and grabbed Lin Tian’s hand.
“Oh! Lin Tian, your hand is so cold!”
The warmth of the hot water cup enveloped Lin Tian’s hand.
Before Lin Tian could react, she snatched her hand back and continued drinking her water nonchalantly.
It was as if nothing had happened.

Lin Tian narrowed his eyes, staring at the girl’s face.
After a moment, he scratched his head.
“Let’s discuss the main matter,” Lin Tian said.

Since returning from Tokyo, some things had been left behind and needed addressing now.
He stated, “We can begin working on the new album.”
Lin Tian figured he had to take advantage of his newfound fame.
Due to his recent achievements in international piano competitions, particularly in Japan, where the main competitor in the final round was a Japanese pianist, he had become a highly talked-about figure in the music world.

With such high heat, now was the time to release a new album. This could help extend his reach into foreign markets.
The three pieces he composed in Tokyo, affectionately known as the “Tokyo Trilogy”:
“Bach Virus”, “Croatian Rhapsody”, “Nocturne in E-flat Major”.
Alongside those, he planned to include “Teacher Cat’s Summer,” originally written for Gan Yan Yu. The absence of cello or not didn’t matter much since the song was named after her.
However, the two competition pieces — “Croatian Rhapsody” and “Nocturne in E-flat Major” — were solo performances. He found himself in a bit of a predicament.
Three tracks in one album featured only Moonlight’s solos. Was it still accurate to call it “Moonlight and Cat”?
Considering Teacher Cat’s massive fandom, particularly among women, they might not appreciate this.
Lin Tian then shared his concerns with Gan Yan Yu.
Gan Yan Yu simply shrugged and responded:
“No big deal, Lin Tian! If you’re going to play that well, it makes sense to highlight yourself!”
“This could even just be your personal album!”
