Evil Shiyuan puffed out his chest, addressing Lin Nan with righteous indignation.
“Yeah, Sis! It’s so boring just sitting in the cave all day. I mean, sure, we get all the delicious food and drinks, but without you, it’s like chewing on cardboard.”
Shiyuan chimed in with a whining tone.
Lin Nan shot them a cold glare. “Get off my bed first!”
“Oh…”
The two promptly hopped off her bed like obedient little soldiers.
These two troublemakers, one slip-up and they’re right in your face.
“Put some clothes on! Who are you showing off your bare chest to?”
Evil Shiyuan shook his head. “Not wearing any. It’s hot.”
Shiyuan added, “Yeah, seeing you makes me feel all hot, so no clothes!”
Lin Nan sighed deeply.
She suddenly regretted having these two pestering guys around. It wasn’t just the awkward misunderstandings, since Cold Moon and her gang would never say anything—their imaginations did all the work.
After all, she was a woman with two beefy guys lounging beside her, and they acted like it was the most normal thing in the world, as if not sharing her bed would be abnormal.
At this rate, it was only a matter of time before something went haywire…
“Sis, for some reason, you look extra pretty today. I can’t take my eyes off you.”
The two boys stood against the wall, waiting for Lin Nan’s high heels to crush them, and suddenly spoke in unison.

It was rare for these two to shower her with compliments.

Under normal circumstances, if these two climbed back into her bed, she wouldn’t mind giving them a good thump on the head. But for some reason, their praise brightened her mood significantly.
Lin Nan hesitated for a moment, then glared at them again and commanded, “Get moving already! You’re not waiting for me to escort you out, are you?”
The two Shiyuans exchanged incredulous looks, then immediately bolted, fearing Lin Nan might change her mind and leave some serious shoe prints on their foreheads.
After they left,

The two Shiyuans finally donned their dashing outfits, armed with sticks, ready to follow Lin Nan out.
You gotta admit, human appearances are the result of millions of years of natural selection! Ever since the little demons in Cold Wind City transformed back into their beast forms for training, construction around the city came to a standstill.
I mean, you can’t expect a bunch of four-legged animals to get any work done, right?
Eventually, the Second Great King, Cold Moon, decreed that daily tasks must be performed in human form, but they could revert back to their beast shapes as long as they didn’t disturb anyone.
Thus, the construction in Cold Wind City finally got back on track.
This was also one of the reasons why the city hadn’t welcomed players from the same faction until now.
More importantly, the demon race within the city remained somewhat wary of the humans that reappeared outside; they never expected Cold Wind City would become a melting pot of humans and demons.
And now, stepping out of Cold Wind Cave to gather the great demons was Lin Nan’s mission: to untangle their reservations.
Looking at the twenty-some great demons in the meeting room, all in human form, Lin Nan couldn’t help but feel relieved; it’s much easier on the eyes. Imagine having a meeting with a bunch of plants and animals—it’d be downright weird.
As the Great King and her twin guards entered the meeting room, the great demons who had been waiting for ages stood up in unison, bowing respectfully. Cold Moon stepped forward, leading Lin Nan to the main seat.
The two stone guards positioned themselves on either side of the Great King.
Cold Moon announced, “Great King, everyone is here.”
Lin Nan’s gaze swept over everyone’s faces, and the great demons immediately felt a serious and cold aura hitting them head-on.
This meeting was sure to be intense.
Lin Nan said slowly, “I have something to share. This matter is a personal experience of mine, completely true. I fully understand how incredible it sounds, but I urge everyone not to doubt the authenticity of my words.”
She laid out the entire story of the bl**d of All Spirits Formation in the East Sea without holding anything back.
The expressions on the great demons’ faces grew grimmer by the second.
Anyone would struggle to stay calm upon hearing a prophecy that they might d*e in two years.
“Thus, we have only two years left. To gather enough strength before the day of judgment, we need to collaborate closely with humans and fight together against the enemy.
Of course, I’m not talking about those prideful people from the Immortal Gate, but first, we need to win over the ordinary humans and those who naturally like the demon race, like the warriors currently gathered outside the city.”
Lin Nan turned to Cold Moon. “As for how to cooperate with humans, you, Second Great King, will handle the negotiations. I will also speak with their leaders, but we must insist that humans must present us with satisfactory proposals in order to qualify as members of Cold Wind City.

Cold Moon stood up and said, “Thank you for your trust, Great King. I will manage this matter.”
“Good, next, let’s discuss sending troops to Black Stone City.”
The meeting room fell silent, with nearly all the great demons looking at Lin Nan in surprise and excitement.
Black Stone City, once the largest city of the demon race.
After the defeat of the Demon King, Black Stone City was taken over by humans, an utter humiliation for the demon race.
Any capable great demon harbored hopes of reclaiming Black Stone City and restoring their glory.
However, there has always been a vast discrepancy in strength between the two races, and the Great King of Split Land from White Feather City was practically a puppet of the humans, making a proactive approach to Black Stone City impossible.
Now that the day of judgment was looming, reclaiming the strength of the demon race had become urgent.
The Great King truly was a wise leader, pinpointing the key issue instantly.
“Tiger Demon, you’ll oversee this matter. We leave a day later!
Also, send word to the Great King of Split Land in Thousand Bird City. We’ll attack together and meet up at Black Stone City!”
“Understood, Great King!”
The great demons rallied together, their spirits high.
