### Chapter 4: The Finale (10)
==============================
“Gurgle, gurgle…”
In the distance, a river of fiery red lava continually bubbled, and a new batch of self-exploding beasts slowly surfaced. Bathed in nearly a thousand degrees of molten lava, they seemed to be enjoying a cozy dip in a warm river, living the dream.
High up in the sky, Good Shiyuan pointed at those freshly spawned self-exploding beasts and said to Lin Nan, “Did you see that? These creatures from underground caves have a breeding capacity that can only be described as insane. They take caves as their homes and feast on magma, with the mother spawn dropping thousands of eggs each time.
What I’ve brought from the Small Thousand World is just the most ordinary cave species; there are even stronger and more ruthless beings that haven’t shown their faces yet. I thought they wouldn’t pose a threat to the Heavenly Sword Sect.”
Good Shiyuan spread his arms wide, “But, as you can see, under the assault of these ordinary self-exploding beasts, the Heavenly Sword Sect has been struggling to hold the line. The entire Small Thousand World has fallen except for the Main Peak. If the founding leader of the Heavenly Sword Sect ever got wind of this, he’d probably leap right out of his coffin in rage.
So, tell me, how can such a useless human race bear the burden of fighting against the Divine Clan two years from now?”
“You might be jumping to conclusions a bit too soon,” Lin Nan replied.
Good Shiyuan smirked. “I’m done arguing with you. Alright, since you’ve spouted your reasoning, I’ll grant your wish and temporarily release those few from the Small World.”
With a snap of his fingers, a faint circle of light gradually appeared on the ground beneath his feet at the Main Peak.
Before long, the circle exploded outward like a balloon, emitting a blinding burst of light that nearly blinded the nearby survivors.
As the light faded, three figures appeared that made both Lin Nan and Luo Ying’s hearts skip a beat.
The male character and two Shiyuans, battered and bruised, stumbled into everyone’s view. Their clothes were in tatters, with only a few strips hanging on; even the beefiest Shiyuan was hunched over and limping, clearly having endured quite the pounding.
Luo Ying rushed forward.
Seeing the male character with a swollen face and bloodied limbs, tears welled up in her eyes as she hurried to support him. She thanked the two boys who looked as if they were twins.
She sensed that if it weren’t for their help, the male character would have collapsed ages ago.
Evil Shiyuan huffed as he plopped onto the ground, shaking his head. “Don’t thank us; this kid is tough, and I like that.”
Shiyuan chimed in, “Yeah, we supported each other; none of us could leave the other behind.”
But then they realized: how on earth did they suddenly jump from a world of danger back to the Main Peak?
Luo Ying said, “It was Frost North Snow. She negotiated with the enemy to bring you back.”
Both Shiyuan and Evil Shiyuan looked up in unison to see the black skirt woman they knew and missed standing defiantly against Good Shiyuan.
In an instant, they forgot their pain and bolted to Lin Nan’s side.
Evil Shiyuan pulled out an iron rod, pointing it threateningly at Good Shiyuan. “Hey, you! Let’s settle this one-on-one again!”
Shiyuan hurried to shield Lin Nan. “Sister, this guy is super sly, so keep your distance.”
Good Shiyuan smiled slowly. “What’s this? A defeated opponent daring to provoke? You guys better not let Frost North Snow’s kindness go to waste; if I have to stuff you back into the Small World, nobody will be here to help you.”
They both jumped, realizing despite their bravado, there was truth to Good Shiyuan’s words.
Especially Evil Shiyuan, whose teeth ground in frustration.
Entering Frost North Snow’s mental world had cost him 90% of his power.
He wasn’t scared of Good Shiyuan before, but now he felt helplessly toyed with. Nothing could make him more furious.
“b*stard! Watch me smash your smelly face!”
Memory flashed back to Phoenix Mountain when Good Shiyuan sneakily hopped aboard while he was napping—centuries wasted just like that. He still needed to settle that account!
Good Shiyuan sighed. “Given that we’re all of the same origin, I don’t want to push you to an absolute dead end. But don’t think you can take it too far; if you push me too much, I won’t hesitate to wipe you off the map.”
“Go to hell!”
Evil Shiyuan swung his rod, but Good Shiyuan casually deflected it.
Nobody saw what happened, but next thing you know, Evil Shiyuan went clanking to the ground, clutching his stomach in a kneeled position, and just like that, he passed out cold.
Shiyuan, not being much of a fighter, quickly leaped on top of Evil Shiyuan, fearing that Good Shiyuan would go in for the k*ll.
Good Shiyuan said, “Rest easy; I still have use for you two. After all, we three originally came from one entity, separated by the mother body of the Small Thousand World. There’s still a chance we can fuse back together and regain our peak moments.
However, by then, the Monster King will be me, and I will be the Monster King. My will and goals won’t change because of this.”
Shiyuan coldly retorted, “Dream on. Until we wipe out your arrogant consciousness, fusion will never happen.”
Good Shiyuan shrugged. “Sorry, but that’s not your call. But before that, let me resolve the issue with your heartthrob.
I’ve already told you two—Frost North Snow is no longer herself; her body has been overtaken by an external soul. Yet you two, like lovesick puppies, cling to her like it’s the end of the world. It’s honestly hilarious.”
Shiyuan erupted in anger, “Don’t you dare slander her name just because you can’t win her heart. You’re more odious than a demon!”
“Please don’t compare me to hellish beings; by the way, whether hell exists is a whole other matter.”
Good Shiyuan smirked. “No matter what you say, from now on, Frost North Snow is mine.
Game over!”
As soon as he finished speaking, Good Shiyuan gradually spread his arms.
A ripple that resembled a fishing net slowly expanded outward. As it brushed against Shiyuan and Lin Nan, they were shocked to find their limbs growing rigid, and they couldn’t move at all.
Good Shiyuan chanted some words, and with his voice, faint red waves surged outward along with the ripples.
Shiyuan struggled with all his might but was utterly powerless.
As for Evil Shiyuan, he still remained dizzy and unconscious.
Lin Nan gritted her teeth; the Black Wind Sword twisted in sync with her will, seeming to break through some barrier, granting her right hand a newfound range of movement.
The White Shadow Sword dropped from her pouch, landing in her palm.
It was this very sword that had made Evil Shiyuan submit; now facing Good Shiyuan, how could she not employ this husband-taming artifact?
