The woman cleared her throat, gasping for breath from my grip. Her pale face quickly flared red, her right hand reflexively lifted, hovering beside her for a moment before dropping back down.

My fist rose again, smashing down like a rock.

Ashes flew, and debris scattered. This punch landed in the same place as before, my fist stabbing into the woman’s soft flesh, driving deep into her chest. The immense impact rippled outward, embedding her body into the cracked ground beneath.
“What qualifications do you have to talk about salvation?!”
I gasped for breath, staring wide-eyed, letting out an angry, sorrowful roar.
“Silvya…”
Amidst the scattering dust, the dancer’s voice became a mere whisper, once clear as a spring now raspy, like an old accordion wheezing. She struggled to speak: “You are right…”

The woman groaned in pain, her weak words paused for a moment.

As the dust and fragments began to settle, the dancer, covering the bloody gash in her chest with one hand, struggled out from the crevice, suddenly leaping up and grabbing my still outstretched fist, clenching my wrist tightly.
She stared at me with bloodshot eyes, bl**d dribbling from her mouth. Her beautiful face was twisted with pain and urgency, yet her once dim eyes seemed to ignite with newfound flame.
“The Ancient Deity… set the seal… The power of infernal fire, the power of order… cannot operate here… but… the Mother’s Chaotic Fire… can… Even though I don’t know… why you possess… such insane power… but it must be… the reason why the Church sent you here… No wonder… their higher-ups… have such confidence in you… Ha, ha…”
As she spoke, the dancer suddenly smiled, bl**d on her lips.
“Silvya, I can’t… cough, cough… stop the demon… but you can… use the Chaotic Flame… to consume… the Goddess’s Tear, that bl**d Pearl…”
She loosened her grip on me, trembling as she pointed toward the tumor floating atop the mountain in the distance.
“It’s right there… at the peak… of the Divine Egg…”
