Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You – Chapter 20

Chapter 21: The Aftermath

Three days later.

“Is he dead?”

Noia stood on the bed and gave Leon’s head a little kick with her foot.

Little Moon bounced at the bedside, “Sister, you can’t kick Dad like that! It’s rude.”

“Adults are talking; kids should keep their mouths shut.”

“Hmph!”

Moon then turned to Roswiser, “Mother, Dad was fine just a couple of days ago. Why did he suddenly pass out again?”

Roswiser looked at Leon with her usual expressionless face,

“Perhaps he suffered from a sudden illness.”

Who knows what drove this guy crazy three nights ago. He just couldn’t help himself and launched into one of his usual tirades against Roswiser.

She’d already warned him: “You’d better not do this, or once it’s over, I’ll make you regret it.”

Leon clearly knew he was in for it.

But he did it anyway.

And he enjoyed it.

Did Roswiser just let him off the hook?

Not a chance.

Little did he know that a single punch could leave him knocked out for three days.

“Dad’s not going to sleep for another two years like last time, right?”

Moon said anxiously, “When he wakes up, I might already be a big dragon! He won’t be able to carry me anymore!”

“He can still carry you no matter how big you get.”

Noia stomped her little foot on Leon’s face, “I think he’s just pretending to be asleep.”

“Alright, you two go play outside for now,” Roswiser said.

“Yes, Mother!”

Noia turned and bounced off the bed.

But after thinking for a moment, she walked across Leon’s belly instead.

Moon squealed and covered her eyes.

With all those feet stomping on him, Dad might not really be pretending to sleep…

After getting off the bed, Noia pulled Moon and left the room.

Moon looked back longingly at her unconscious dad, “Dad, remember to wash your face when you wake up…”

Thud—

The two little dragon girls left the room.

Roswiser continued to stare coldly at Leon.

“Keep pretending, and the next foot on your belly won’t be Noia’s.”

“OWOWOWOW! That hurts, that hurts, that hurts—”

Startled out of his daze, Leon clutched his belly and rolled around on the bed.

“Why’s that little thing so heavy?”

“The bone density of dragons is higher than that of humans. Didn’t you feel it when you carried Moon?”

“I did.”

“Then why ask?”

“Do I have to answer just because you asked? Am I forcing you?”

“… You can just d*e, Leon.”

Roswiser raised her hand, ready to channel her magic energy.

Leon quickly grabbed a pillow and held it in front of himself—

He knew all too well that a pillow wouldn’t withstand the power of magic that could level a mountain, but a guy can hope that if he’s going to d*e, he should at least d*e comfortably with a pillow.

Roswiser huffed, waved her hand dismissively, and released the energy.

Realizing he was no longer in danger, Leon slowly put the pillow down.

He knew Roswiser wasn’t actually going to k*ll him.

If she wanted to, she would’ve done it long ago, so what was the point of waiting for him to wake up?

After that little incident three days ago, she knocked him out without hesitation, and then he slept for a full three days.

Logically, he shouldn’t be this weak.

But all the energy he had accumulated during those days was spent that night getting his sweet revenge on Roswiser.

After the revenge, Leon was completely out of juice.

Forget Roswiser’s punch; even if Noia came at him, he could barely take it.

“Can you tell me what you were thinking back then?” Roswiser asked.

“What was I thinking? A dragon slayer just wants to use everything possible to fight against a dragon king. Not too complicated, right?”

“You’re still thinking about resisting?”

“Why shouldn’t I resist?”

After uttering such rebellious words, Leon thought Roswiser would give him another stern talking to.

But unexpectedly, what he saw in that mother dragon’s eyes was more surprise than anger.

After a brief moment of shock, Roswiser smiled faintly,

“Alright, you’ve got guts, Dragon Slayer.”

The way she said “Dragon Slayer” was serious, completely different from her teasing tone at the dinner party.

Leon thought, maybe she figured out that his reckless act was born from her disdain for him.

So after this little showdown, she might actually respect him a bit now?

“I have to admit, Leon, you do deserve the title ‘the strongest.’”

Strength isn’t just about being powerful outside; it also includes inner strength.

His will to protect his dignity and character was formidable; Roswiser genuinely admired him.

Of course, that also made it easier for her to keep tormenting him in the future.

The more he resisted, the more interested Roswiser became.

“Hmph, thanks for the compliment.”

See that, family?

You have to earn your place in the family!

This round was a victory for Leon, and a victory for humanity!

Please paint the words “Leon won big” on the outer wall of the Silver Dragon Temple, thanks!

“Alright, stop grinning like an idiot, get dressed, and come with me.”

“Huh? Go out with you? For what?”

“To teach Moon how to write her name, as I promised you. I’ll allow you to go for a walk with me.”

Leon raised an eyebrow, “Oh? You’re so reliable?”

Roswiser chuckled, “Just taking the dog out for a walk. Plus, we need to show the tribe that we exist as a couple so they don’t get suspicious.”

Having said that, she turned to the wardrobe, picked out a few outfits, and tossed them onto the bed.

Leon asked while getting dressed, “You’re the Dragon King now; why do you care what your subordinates think?”

“Acting is acting; it has to be complete.”

“Okay, okay, suit yourself.”

As he was about to finish getting dressed, Leon suddenly asked, “So, are we just going to let that incident from three days ago go?”

Roswiser stood with her back to him. Hearing his question, a smirk appeared on her lips,

“Of course.”

Of course, it wouldn’t just go away.

Come on, how could the glorious Silver Dragon Queen let you insult her like that?

Leon nodded, “That’s good.”

“Get dressed quickly; we’re heading down soon.”

“Got it.”

About ten minutes later, Leon and Roswiser walked side by side out of the Silver Dragon Temple.

The silver dragon clansmen outside couldn’t help but stare wide-eyed at the scene.

If he remembered correctly, this should be the first time Her Majesty and her husband appeared together, right?

They had been secretly married without notifying anyone, after all—

Well, that’s what Her Majesty said.

Her Majesty also said that this male dragon king was an excellent husband—no smoking, no drinking, and no fooling around.

Then not long after their wedding, he fell ill and comatose for two whole years.

Her Majesty said it was nothing; “I love him; he loves me; let’s all live peacefully and quietly.”

Her Majesty said…

Well, never mind.

There’s nothing to reminisce about what Her Majesty said.

Now she was finally taking her mysterious husband out for a stroll in the sun, and the clansmen could finally have a hearty gossip fest!

Of course, the gossipers weren’t just the clansmen; there were also the two little ones upstairs.

“Hey, sister, look! Dad and Mother are going for a walk!” Moon exclaimed, excitedly pointing at the two people in the courtyard.

Noia glanced over. Though she wanted to keep watching, she quickly withdrew her gaze and said, “What’s the big deal?”

“But they really look good together, sister.”

“Oh.”

Seeing her sister not play along, Moon began to babble to herself,

“Dad loves Mother, loves Moon, and also loves sister~”

Noia raised an eyebrow, sneered, “Loves me?”

“Yeah, yeah!”

“Loves me, and doesn’t even know my name, and he says he loves me.”

Moon blinked, jumped off the railing, and looked at Noia, “Sister’s name…”

“Yeah, wasn’t it you who told him back then? Otherwise, he wouldn’t even know what to call me. Tch, even if he does know, it seems he doesn’t care.”

Moon’s pupils flickered, as if recalling something. She quickly rummaged through her pockets.

“Found it! Sister, look!”

It was a scrap of paper with a name written on it:

Noia K. Melkway.

The handwriting was neat and beautiful.

“Nice handwriting, Moon,” Noia praised.

“That’s what Dad wrote.”

“Looks terrible.”

Moon: …

“He pressed so hard the paper almost ripped, and his strokes are so stiff! They don’t even connect! This ‘K’ is the wrong size; it looks ridiculous!” Noia shot off her complaints like a machine g*n about Leon’s handwriting.

Moon fiddled with her fingers and said, “If you don’t like it, can I have it back then…?”

“Not a chance. If I gave you such ugly handwriting, it would ruin you and make you write badly too!” Noia said seriously.

“Aww. Well, I’m going to go play now.”

Moon trotted out of the sisters’ room.

After confirming her sister had left, Noia quietly approached the bed, bent down, and pulled out a dusty wooden box from under it.

She blew the dust off, then unlocked the small lock with a key.

Inside the box was a piece of black metal shard.

Noia carefully placed the paper with her name into the box.

After securing the box and putting it back under the bed,

she dashed back to the balcony, gazing down at the two people below.

Her gaze lingered on Leon’s back.

After a long moment, she murmured softly,

“Do you really love us?”
