Leon found himself in a deadlock.

His defenses crumbled in front of Roswiser like they were made of paper—one poke and they were gone.
Leon would rather battle a Mother Dragon on a bloody battlefield for three hundred rounds than face her mental attacks in bed all day.

Roswiser patted Leon’s head, “Alright, tidy up a bit. We still have to give Noia her tutoring later.”
Leon moved his half-dead arms and legs, “With my body in this state? How about we take a day off on that?”
Roswiser nodded, not forcing him, “Okay.”
Well, that was unexpectedly agreeable.
Guess she really was satisfied last night.
Leon sighed internally.
He finally whipped up a miracle drug only for it to be fully utilized for… that.
How could she not be satisfied?
Even if she were made of iron, she certainly should be!
Roswiser put aside her playful mood and began quietly cleaning up the messy room.
Watching her work methodically, Leon pursed his lips and explained, “I’m really unable to get out of bed… Otherwise, I’d help you clean up.”
“Mm, it’s fine.”
Honestly, Roswiser’s housekeeping skills were top-notch.
In no time, she had transformed the chaotic room into something somewhat presentable.
As he watched her nimble movements, Leon couldn’t help but wonder—she had so many love bites, surely last night wasn’t easy, yet this morning she seemed as good as new?

Next up was some detailed cleaning.
Still swift with her hands, she worked with impressive expertise.
Leon had assumed that a Silver Dragon Queen wouldn’t do this kind of housework.
Suddenly, he saw a bit of his master’s wife in her.
That honest and hard-working farmer’s wife also did her chores with such seriousness and meticulousness.
This thought caused Leon to feel a bit more down.
Although his memories of last night were blurry, he vaguely remembered saying that he… missed home.
It had been over two years… how could he not?
He had no idea how Master and Master’s Wife were doing.
Leon tapped his fingers hesitantly and finally spoke to Roswiser,

Roswiser perked up and replied, “Well, our Silver Dragon Race isn’t really good at infiltration tasks; those are usually handled by the more disguise-savvy dragon types. But if it’s just to visit your Master and his wife, that’s doable.”
Leon’s eyes lit up. “Really? Thank—ah, that’s so kind of you.”
Roswiser chuckled, “Saying thank you to an enemy? Quite rare, huh?”
Leon turned his gaze away, not saying anything further.
Roswiser resumed her silent cleaning.
Before long, the room was almost spotless.
Just then, he heard the door lock click.
A few seconds later, two small figures entered the bedroom one after the other.
“Good morning, Mom.”
“Good morning, Mom!”
“Morning, Noia, Moon.”
The two little ones looked at Leon on the bed, ready to greet him, but then noticed the old man’s face didn’t seem quite right.
Moon recalled yesterday’s “chocolate candy” incident.
Dad said that was medicine for Mom; but Mom said it was actually Dad who was unwell but couldn’t say so, and that it was for her.
Following that logic…
Mom was right after all!
Moon rushed to the bedside, her little face full of concern.
“Dad, are you not feeling well?”
Leon stared blankly at his little girl, “Ah… ah, I’m fine! Just a bit tired.”
“I know everything, Dad; don’t force it.”
Leon was stunned, “You, you know what?”
He glanced over at Roswiser.
Please don’t tell me this Mother Dragon spilled the beans to the kids?
Hey, that’s a no-no!
How could a dad lose face like this?
Noia, upon hearing this, showed a hint of worry on her otherwise cold face.
But unlike Moon, she didn’t make it too obvious and silently stood by.
“Dad, you said Mom was sick, but actually you’re the one sick, right?”
Moon tugged on Leon’s sleeve, her voice quivering a bit, “Moon knows, Dad is a man. Men can’t admit they’re sick. But… but your face looks worse now, Dad. I’m really worried!”
“Don’t cry, don’t cry! Dad is fine.”
Leon reached out to hug Moon, but found his body far too weak, even holding a little Dragon Girl was tough.
In the end, it was Noia who supported her little sister’s bottom, allowing her to sit on Leon’s lap.
After helping, Noia resumed her cold stance beside the bed.
But her gaze never left Leon.
Leon wiped the tears from Moon’s eyes and laughed, “Dad’s really fine. If I weren’t, I’d just—bam—be flat out and not able to talk to you anymore, right?”
He thought a little joke would lighten the mood like it usually did, but Moon was still full of worry.
“Dad, you’re lying! You are sick and not feeling well.”
Moon sniffled, “Oh right, didn’t you prepare a medicine yesterday? Did you take it?”
“…… Took it.”
“Then why are you still not better, Dad?”
“…… Emmmmm”
“Was it not strong enough?”

“Did you take too little?”
“……”
“Did you take the wrong medicine?”

Noia pulled on her sister’s tail, saying, “Come on down, Moon. I’ll go play with you; we’ll come back to see him at night.”
“No way! If Dad doesn’t have much time left, Moon has to stay with him the whole time!”
“What do you mean by not much time? Don’t throw around phrases like that! Come on down; he’s fine, I swear. At dinner tonight, he’ll be bouncing around!”
Moon blinked her big, beautiful eyes, “Really, Sis? You wouldn’t lie to Moon?”

“Okay, then Dad, you take a good rest, and we’ll have dinner together tonight.”

Moon jumped off Leon’s lap, and Noia took her hand, leading her out of the bedroom.
“Dad, you really need to rest well! Remember to take more medicine!” Moon shouted back before leaving.
