Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You – Chapter 51

Chapter 52: The Dragon Slayer Hero Captured for the Second Time, Isn’t It Hilarious?

If Leon doesn’t move around a bit, he might just forget what it feels like to fight a dragon.

Sure, he needs to take care of the little ones, but he can’t forget his main job.

After making arrangements with Roswiser, the next day they headed to the training ground at the Silver Dragon Temple.

The two little ones came running over to watch.

“Sister, are you curious about who’s stronger, Dad or Mom?” Moon asked.

“The teacher said watching skilled fighters duel helps us improve our battle skills.”

“Oh, now I get it.”

Moon said as she pulled out snacks like beef jerky and potato chips from her bag and piled them up between her and Noia. “Let’s eat while we watch!”

Noia smiled helplessly. “You really came prepared.”

“Heh heh~”

The little dragon girls were now all set to watch.

Meanwhile, in the arena, Leon and Roswiser squared off, ready for their “friendly exchange” as a couple.

Roswiser rubbed her wrist, her eyes sparkling with amusement. “By the way, your body should still not be at the level to fight the Dragon King, right?”

Leon stretched his legs, getting warmed up for battle. “So what? How often do you get the chance to fight the Silver Dragon Queen? I’ve gotta seize the moment!”

“Roar? Then there’s no need to push yourself too hard. Want to go to the warehouse and wear your Black Gold Battle Armor?”

Leon stumbled in mid-stretch.

Just mentioning that unreliable armor sent a jolt of pain through him.

His owner hadn’t fallen prey to dragons yet, but the armor had already given in!

What’s the use of you?!

You’ve already turned into Roswiser’s shape!

(Black Gold Battle Armor: I’m innocent!)

“No thanks, I’m good going in light,” Leon said after finishing his stretches, jumping up and down a bit.

Roswiser glanced at the girls, making sure they were too far away to hear her and Leon’s conversation, then turned back to Leon.

“I’m worried you might lack motivation. How about… we bet on something?”

“What do you want to bet on?”

“If you win, I won’t touch you for a month, how about that?”

Leon’s eyes lit up.

Oh ho!

How long!?

A month?!

Considering this Mother Dragon’s relentless desire for things, who knows how many punishments that could save him!

He usually wouldn’t even dare to think about it!

Honestly, he was so tempted.

But Leon quickly regained his composure, realizing it couldn’t be that easy.

As the saying goes, “Rewards are often proportionate to risks.”

If this Mother Dragon could propose such a generous offer of a month’s reprieve, then conversely, if Leon lost…

“If you lose, you have to obediently fulfill one of my requests. Deal?”

“W-what request?”

“Whoa, why are you so eager to hear the terms of losing? Are you so sure you can’t win?” Roswiser teased, delighting in his worry.

“Pressure fuels motivation.”

“Hmph, is that so? Then I won’t tell you!”

Roswiser smirked confidently. “So, Dragon Slayer, even though you don’t know what the consequences of losing will be, do you still dare to accept?”

Leon pondered for a moment, then nodded decisively. “Fine, I accept the challenge.”

Roswiser was visibly surprised by Leon’s guts. “You really dare to take it? You know it’s going to be tough to win against me in your current state, right?”

“Losing just means I get to endure your creative forms of torment — I’ll just close my eyes and grit my teeth through it.”

Leon said as he prepared his battle stance. “But if I win, I get to enjoy a whole month of freedom! In the Empire, that’s called a risky investment.”

Roswiser chuckled, “Alright, you’ve got guts, Leon.”

She really loved this stubborn guy’s spirit.

Never backing down, always seeking opportunity, never letting his determination be worn down.

Only such people deserve to be her opponent, the Silver Dragon Queen.

When both were ready for battle, Moon hopped off the bench, waving her little flag. “Let the battle begin~”

At her signal, Leon launched himself forward like a cannonball, kicking off the ground with such speed that he left a blur in his wake.

As he solidified into reality, he had already ambushed Roswiser up close.

Leon raised his fist and struck directly at Roswiser’s chest.

The Queen crossed her arms in front of her, blocking Leon’s full-powered punch with the X formed by her arms.

The shockwave from his fist sent dust flying on either side of Roswiser.

“Wow, fast, Leon,” Roswiser said, laughing effortlessly.

It was a double entendre, and Leon definitely caught the underlying meaning.

“If I’m not quick, I wouldn’t be very effective, now would I?”

Leon used his whole body and unleashed more power, effectively sending Roswiser flying several meters away.

Gaining his footing again, Roswiser shook off her arms.

That last hit had stung a bit.

“Now it’s my turn.”

With that, Roswiser spread her arms, palms up, and instantly, two blazing balls of Dragon Flame converged in her hands.

She hurled the fireballs at Leon.

Leon dodged nimbly, continuously seeking opportunities to close in on Roswiser.

The Dragon Flame attacks were relentless, igniting numerous bursts of fire in the training ground.

Waves of heat and vibrations came crashing one after another.

But not a single Dragon Flame hit Leon; he dodged them all.

The last fireball barely grazed Leon’s cheek, exploding a dazzling display of light behind him.

Using the explosion’s push, Leon leaped high into the air, charging toward Roswiser.

“Comparing speed to the Silver Dragon Race, Dragon Slayer? That’s a bit overconfident, don’t you think~”

Roswiser slightly bent forward, and then poof! She vanished from where she stood.

In the next second, she appeared like a ghost at Leon’s side, knocking him away with a swift tail sweep.

Leon soared through the air, tracing a perfect arc before crashing down to the ground.

“Are you okay, Dad?!” Moon worriedly squeaked, squeezing her potato chips until they crumbled.

After stabilizing himself, Leon quickly raised his hand. “I’m fine, just got careless.”

Moon, clutching a chip, anxiously said, “Dad, you won’t get strung up and beaten by Mom, right…?”

“Not likely.”

Noia analyzed logically, “From the beginning until just now, Dad was only using pure body techniques to attack and evade, while Mom immediately started circling around with Dragon Flame after blocking that first punch, looking for her chance to counterattack. This means in close combat, Mom doesn’t have confidence that she can win.”

Moon blinked her big beautiful eyes, gazing at her sister in confusion. “I don’t understand, but it sounds really impressive.”

Noia sighed, her expression serious, her eyes locked onto the two fighters in the arena.

“Indeed… very formidable, utterly devoid of any unnecessary movements or pointless energy expenditure.”

Leon slowly rose to his feet, brushing off the dust from his clothes.

“Hey, still not throwing in the towel?” Roswiser teased.

“That’s a whole month of vacation we’re talking about! How could I give up that easily?”

“Alright, old stubborn mule, let’s see what else you’ve got.”

With that, Roswiser concentrated her magical energy once again.

This time, she summoned Dragon Flame in her left hand, while water flowed in her right, then unleashed both forces simultaneously onto the field.

In an instant, a thick mist rose, obscuring Leon’s vision.

Leon immediately heightened his guard, staying alert for any movement.

In the next moment, a ripple stirred behind him. Instinctively, Leon turned and blocked.

But it was just a feint.

Roswiser swiftly adjusted her attack, sweeping Leon’s legs out from under him and causing him to lose his balance, tumbling to the ground.

However, before Leon could hit the ground, Roswiser coiled her tail around his leg, flinging him away.

Taking advantage of Leon’s moment of in-air vulnerability, Roswiser followed up with two more fireballs of Dragon Flame.

But just before those fireballs could hit Leon, Roswiser controlled them to collide and blew them up early.

In the end, only the explosion’s force sent Leon flying like a ragdoll.

If those two fireballs had hit, Leon might have been blasted out completely.

After all, this was just sparring; Roswiser could never truly go all out.

However, to the spectators, it looked like Leon really took a solid hit.

Noia: “Such a brutal combo…”

Moon: “Poor Dad… Is he going to lose?”

Leon coughed a few times and got back to his feet.

“Still not giving up?” Roswiser chuckled.

Leon bent his knees, breathing heavily. Head down, he slowly raised his right hand.

“No one… can take away my month-long vacation!”

“I want my break! Don’t underestimate my desire for a vacation, you j*rk!”

Crack crack—

Lightning flickered in his palm, crackling against the air with a clear sound.

Roswiser dropped her playful demeanor, reminding him, “Leon, your body might not handle magic right now, it could—”

“Watch closely, Mother Dragon, magic has to be used flexibly.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Leon clenched his fist fiercely.

The gathered Thunder Element magic surged into his body, stimulating every muscle, bone, and reflex nerve.

Roswiser stared in astonishment, “You… You’re using thunder magic to enhance your body…”

It was true; his current physical condition couldn’t endure high-intensity magic.

But he could use delicate control over the Thunder Element to boost his physical abilities.

To dominate Roswiser with martial arts.

“Roswiser, let’s see if you can keep up with my speed now.”

Roswiser snapped back from her brief shock. “To be honest, I’m not a fan of fast guys; I prefer a more… leisurely pace.”

With her words, both combatants vanished simultaneously, leaving only a blue and silver blur zipping and colliding with each other.

Electricity crackled in the air, excitement heavy and palpable.

After several rounds of exchanges, Leon seized his chance, gripping Roswiser’s arms and slamming her hard to the ground.

Just as Roswiser’s head was about to hit the unforgiving surface, Leon quickly lessened his grip and leaned forward, catching her head.

They found themselves staring into each other’s eyes, one high and one low.

“Hey, are you feeling sorry for me?” Roswiser teased.

But as soon as she finished speaking, Leon withdrew his hand.

Roswiser gently descended a few inches from the ground, “Ouch!”

As the dust from their fierce battle settled, the little girls could see Roswiser flat on the ground with Leon standing beside her.

Noia: “What a brutal slam…”

Moon: “Poor Mom… Is she going to lose?”

Roswiser stood up, brushing the dust off her dress.

Leon had already put some distance between them, preparing for what looked like a final strike.

Roswiser knew his body had about reached its limit under the continuous enhancement from the Thunder magic; she needed to end this quickly.

If she dragged it out, winning would be an easy task;

But… she would still pay her respects to the stubborn Dragon Slayer.

Roswiser bent forward, gathering Dragon Flame in her hands.

Leon also took his mark, pushing the Thunder magic to its maximum limit within what his body could handle.

The next second, both charged at each other, like two cannonballs colliding at high speed.

Moon squeamishly covered her eyes.

Though Noia felt a bit apprehensive herself, she forced herself to keep her eyes open, fixated on the unfolding battle.

The blue and silver shadows drew closer and closer, but in the end—

There was no explosion or collision.

Leon’s fist stopped just a centimeter from Roswiser’s nose.

Meanwhile, Roswiser’s palm had already landed on his chest.

At the very last moment, Roswiser retracted her Dragon Flame.

This strike did absolutely no harm.

Crack crack—

The last flicker of electricity dissipated from Leon’s body.

He had reached his limit.

A wave of dizziness washed over him; with vision darkening, Leon fell forward.

Timely, Roswiser caught him with her tail, gently laying him down on the ground.

Leon closed his eyes in dismay, breathing heavily and labored.

“You did really well, Leon. Your body isn’t in peak condition, and without your enchanted armor or effective weapons, being able to fight me like this using just body techniques is something no one has managed to achieve before.”

Roswiser squatted beside Leon, gently brushing the dirt off his face.

“Whether as your fake wife, training partner, or rival, I must admit, you’re indeed strong. Even in defeat, you’ve got honor, Dragon Slayer.”

“Well, even though they say it’s honor in defeat—”

Roswiser’s lips twitched up into a mischievous smile.

“Don’t forget our bet, okay~”
