That evening, Roswiser slowly opened her eyes.
Above her was a pure white ceiling, and beneath her was a soft bed.
The familiar scent of the blanket was also soothing.

She grasped Roswiser’s hand and pressed it against her cheek, her eyes misty with joy, “Mom, you finally woke up! I was so worried about you!”
“Don’t cry, Moon, I’m fine, see?”
Roswiser wiped the tears from the corners of her daughter’s eyes and pinched her chubby cheeks, “Sorry for making you worry. Where’s your sister?”
“She left for the Academy this morning.”
“Oh… she left so early.”
Roswiser calculated in her head; when she went blank, Noia had just gotten her break.
So now, Noia was already back.
Which meant she had probably been out cold for more than two days.
More than two days…
Suddenly, Roswiser realized something, struggling to sit up.
But she was far too weak to muster any strength.
The Dragon King body was indeed powerful, and it had allowed Roswiser to wake up from the coma caused by the side effects of the bl**d Bewitchment earlier than expected.

Roswiser secretly sighed in relief, “Hmm… and caught such a big fish.”
“Absolutely! Gotta nourish my wife, right?”
“You—” Roswiser was left speechless.
Yet a faint blush crept across her cheeks.
“Dad, how can you be so shameless!” Moon covered her ears.
Leon grinned, handing the fish over to Moon, “Go find Anna and have her arrange dinner, will you? Oh, and I need to talk to Mom alone, so try not to disturb us until dinner, okay?”
“Hmm, got it!”
With that, the little dragon girl scooped up a fish larger than herself and dashed out of the room, carefully closing the door behind her.
“I thought you would just leave our daughter and make a run for it,” Roswiser said.
Leon settled into a chair by the bed, reclining as if he owned the place.
“I have so much to deal with, why would I run away?” Leon replied playfully.
“Deal with what?”
He waggled his fingers between them, “The things between you and me.”
Roswiser’s instincts kicked in, sensing impending doom.
She retracted her arm under the blanket, and while she already dreaded what might happen, she still asked, “What… what are you planning to do?”
“Do you remember what you did to me just over a month ago, when I first woke up?”
As he spoke, Leon stood up, sat at the edge of the bed, and tucked a strand of hair behind Roswiser’s ear.
Roswiser fixed her gaze on him, “No way… Leon, I’m really weak right now…”
“Weak? Was I not weak, too? I had just woken up ten minutes before you walked in and did… whatever it was you did to me. Have you completely forgotten?”
Roswiser chewed on her lip, trying to summon her magic, but it was completely unresponsive.
So, she tried to threaten him, “Leon, my body won’t stay like this forever. Once I recover… you know what’s coming for you. So, don’t do anything you’ll regret.”
