# 100 I Do
The audience, originally planning to leave, spotted an end-credit scene and quickly returned to their seats, eagerly waiting.
Even those actors who had already taken their bows stayed on stage, intent on enjoying the performance from the stand-up comedians up close.
Among this gathering of actors, there were two props that were supposed to remain frozen in place—two little stone stools—that inexplicably shifted to one side of the stage.
Clap, clap, clap!
The host slowly started clapping, glancing at Leon, and couldn’t help but praise, “This gentleman may not be an official actor, but if you look closely, his expressions—how shy and awkward he looks, you’d think he was an emotional sponge! And that longing and expectation for the proposal is spot on!”
Under the host’s awkward flattery, Leon faced Roswiser and slowly knelt on one knee.
He tried to block out the layers of sweet-talk drenching his ears.
But it was impossible to withstand the host’s combo attack.
“Look at that one-knee action! Check out that look toward his partner and the way he presents the ring with such sincerity!”
“This gentleman—you can’t say he lacks talent or feelings!”
“If he and this lovely lady are not true loves, how could he possibly deliver such a performance?”
“Let’s get some applause for them!”
Smash, smash, smash!
Once again, thunderous applause erupted from the audience below.
Even the professional actors on stage joined in the clapping, tricked by the host’s charm.
Why did this scene seem so familiar?
Had he experienced something like this somewhere…
Somewhere…
Oh!
Leon suddenly remembered.
It wasn’t the scene that felt familiar but rather the host’s “I’m totally shipping this couple!” attitude—exactly like Vice Principal Wilson, that ancient dragon!
So, are you a spy sent by Wilson?
In that case, our country has a complete set of punishment methods for spies: hanging.
But hanging feels a bit cruel, and as a Dragon Slayer with a heart of gold, I could simply send you off to the afterworld in one swift move—quick and painless!
With the audience and actors’ attention drawn to Leon and Roswiser by the host, they had completely overlooked the two stone props on stage, played by people.
One stone prop leaned towards the other and whispered, “Sister, Dad’s about to propose to Mom; why aren’t you smiling?”
“Moon, don’t you think… this scene feels oddly familiar?”
Moon blinked blankly and shook her head, “Moon forgot.”
Noia sighed, “Yeah, back then, you were watching from below, while Mom, Dad, and I were social d*ath on stage.”
Every time Noia recalled that day at the opening ceremony when they presented themselves as a model family, she felt like crawling under a rock.
Now, to come up with material for an essay, she had to relive that awkward experience!
Darn it, it’s all because of choosing the stone props as disguises.
She thought it would be better to observe Mom and Dad’s reactions from the front for a clearer effect.
But who knew… it would go overboard!
However, there’s no use crying over spilled milk.
From another perspective, it was a delightful surprise to see the main characters awkwardly play out a proposal right before their eyes.
Noia huddled quietly in her prop costume, observing intently.
After kneeling, Dad held the prop ring and looked up at Mom.
Mom blushed like a ripe tomato, equally flustered.
Noia didn’t often see this side of her mom.
At home, Mom was a loving yet strict parent; at work, she was a responsible dragon queen.
Even during the earlier opening ceremony, Mom merely appeared awkward.
She didn’t look like this… shy with a face flushed red.
Ah, this will do.
After all, Moon and I didn’t see Dad’s proposal back then; this is just a nice little supplement to our memories.
Leon bit his lip, awkwardly reading from the dry script, “Dear Judy—”
Judy was the name of the female lead in the play.
Leon secretly sighed in relief that the female lead wasn’t named Roswiser.
“You willing to… marry… marry…”
At that moment, both Leon and Roswiser’s embarrassment shot through the roof.
Not even the setting sun could hide the blush creeping across their faces.
Hearts racing, brain fogging, Leon felt dizzy.
He held Roswiser’s cool hand—soft, long fingers with delicate wrists.
Such pretty hands.
Overwhelmed with embarrassment almost made Leon forget everything around him.
In that moment, in his eyes, it seemed there was only his “Judy.”
His gaze traveled along her arm up to her face.
Even at a 45-degree angle, she still looked stunning.
Coupled with that bashful, adorable expression, her beauty was enough to calm Leon’s nerves.
Plus, with their daughters secretly watching, Leon decided to go all in!
“Dear Judy, will you marry me?”
With one hand held by Leon, Roswiser gripped her shirt tightly, trembling with warmth radiating from every pore; if not for the crowd, she might have curled her tail in embarrassment.
Biting her lip, she could feel her cheeks burning.
She wanted to flee—desperately!
But…
This guy dared to recite his lines.
Was she worse than her own captive?
She absolutely could not let him think lowly of her!
It’s just a marriage proposal; how hard could it be?
“Nick—”
Nick was the male lead’s name.
She was about to utter those three words.
Everyone, including the host, held their breath, awaiting the forthcoming moment.
The little stone props behind the actors widened their eyes.
She focused intently on her mom’s lips, eagerly anticipating her next line—the crucial dialogue.
“I… do.”
Judy agreed to Nick’s proposal, and the crowd erupted into applause for the third time.
The little stone prop sighed in relief—scratch that, he turned into a large pebble.
Moon scooted closer, “Sister, your eyes are all red!”
Noia snapped back to reality, “Huh? Do I have… do I?”
“You do, you do! And even though I don’t fully understand what a proposal is, my eyes feel a bit teary too… Are mine red as well?”
Noia chuckled and leaned close, giving her little sister a nuzzle, “Not red anymore.”
“Mm-hmm, thanks, big sister~”
Seeing their dad propose to their mom was a unique scene—because proposals usually happen before the babies arrive!
So being moved is totally normal~
The audience and actors alike were touched by the bashful and naïve feelings expressed by the young couple.
If they joined the industry, they might just become tomorrow’s stars!
However, they didn’t know, their performance was not acting; it was genuine emotion!
The host led the audience in cheers, not realizing that the prop ring wasn’t actually on Roswiser’s hand.
Everything ended at the moment “I do” was spoken.
Leon stood, returned the ring to the male actor, and let out a sigh of relief.
“Phew~”
“Phew~~”
The sounds of relief came from both sides simultaneously.
Leon turned to see Roswiser was looking back at him.
They locked eyes, and in less than a second, they each saw a single word reflected in each other’s gaze:
Run!
Hand in hand, they dashed off the stage.
The host watched their backs, adding the final blow, “Run away~ run away~ into your love graveyard!”
Bam—
The theater doors slammed shut, cutting off the applause and cheers, plunging the world into silence.
The couple returned from what felt like a hellish experience, reborn.
The sun had never felt so warm, and the air had never been fresher.
So, this is what a world without social d*ath feels like?
Absolutely marvelous, my family!
After a moment, Roswiser straightened up, glancing left and right, finally spotting the restroom down the corridor.
“Hang tight; I’m going to freshen up.”
She was a bit sweaty from the nerves, and though her makeup was light, it still needed a touch-up.
Leon nodded in agreement.
While Roswiser was busy fixing her makeup, he casually wandered the theater’s corridor.
The theater itself was not small, featuring not only the musical theater but also several medium cinemas and an indoor Young Dragon Paradise.
A large comprehensive entertainment venue, no doubt.
As Leon strolled, he stumbled upon a self-service photo printing booth.
The Dragon Slayer lit up with excitement.
Talk about effortless fun!
On this date at Sky City, Leon had some personal motives about how to cash in on the important bunny girl pictures taken before.
And now here it was!
He looked over to the restroom; Roswiser hadn’t returned yet.
What a perfect opportunity!
Leon quickly made his way to the self-service printing, lifted the curtain, and stepped inside.
He had previously pondered finding a photo studio in the Silver Dragon Tribe to print them out.
Yet there was no self-service printing facility among the tribe’s resources; everything was manual.
The more significant the item, the fewer people should know about it—secrecy was key.
If any Silver Dragon Race members saw pictures of the Queen like that, Roswiser might genuinely tie him up and hang him at the Silver Dragon Temple for torture.
There’s a line for provocative behavior, and that would be crossing it!
So Leon quietly prayed that Sky City would have such a self-service printing setup.
And to his surprise, he found one right out of the gate.
Such a venue naturally needed photo booths, so having a couple of self-service printing spots was expected.
Leon placed his camera on the printing machine, selected a few bunny girl photos, and activated the device.
Just to be safe, he printed five copies of each photo, planning to tuck them away in different spots when he got home.
Even if one or a few got discovered by Roswiser, he wouldn’t panic.
Leaving a backup plan isn’t Leon’s style; leaving five is!
A moment later, the prints of Roswiser’s bunny girl photos emerged fresh and ready.
Leon didn’t linger; there would be time to savor these later.
He quickly grabbed the camera and deleted all the bunny girl photos inside, making the ones in his hands completely unique!
Once home, he’d stash the five printed pictures away, ready for any eventualities. When Roswiser made her move again, Leon would have plenty of ammunition for a counterattack.
If Roswiser got mad enough to push him, he’d let her see just how savage a Dragon Slayer can be after a month and a half of pent-up energy when facing an infuriated Mother Dragon.
What’s it called? Top-tier plans at play (tactical retreat).
Leon tucked away the photos and camera, stepping out of the self-service area.
As he returned to the theater entrance, Roswiser had just finished her touch-up.
The couple faced each other, Roswiser sizing him up, suspiciously asking, “Why do you look so happy?”
“You said yes to my proposal, dear Judy; of course, I’m happy.”
Roswiser narrowed her eyes but played along, “Then, dear Nick, what’s our next date plan? Is it sautéed Nick with extra carrots?”
“It’s steamed Judy with more cilantro.”
As they playfully bantered, they left the theater, heading straight for their next date adventure.
