### 104 I Just Want to See You in a Bunny Suit
Noya said her essay went really smoothly.
Although she couldn’t guarantee a 100% shot at first place, with her unique theme of “Parents in Love,” making it to the top eight would be a piece of cake.
The couple was thrilled for their daughter.
However, based on past experience, they weren’t popping the champagne just yet.
Until that first-place trophy was in hand, the champagne cork was staying glued to the bottle, and nobody was getting a sip!
It’s worth mentioning that the essay was entirely Noya’s own work; during the creative process, the couple didn’t offer any suggestions nor did they “drop by for a visit.”
Because they both knew that if anyone else scrutinized the writing process, it would lose all its originality.
So, out of respect for their daughter, Leon and Roswiser smartly chose to patiently wait.
Even after Noya finished the essay, she didn’t offer to show it to them, and they didn’t ask.
If she ended up with a good rank, there would be a small award ceremony in class, and the best essays would be shared for everyone to enjoy—plenty of time to admire their daughter’s masterpiece!
When it came to respecting their child, the couple always managed to be in sync without needing to discuss it.
After all, the foundation of parenting is respecting the child.
The day after the essay was finished, Noya returned to the academy riding Leviathan.
The rankings would take a few days to come out, so for now, all they had to do was quietly wait.
Leon was holding Moon as he stood beside Roswiser in the front yard, watching the giant Leviathan fade into the distance.
Once the colossal beast disappeared from view, Leon turned around, one hand cradling Moon, and pinched her little face.
“What does Moon want to play today?”
As he spoke, Leon carried her towards the Silver Dragon Temple.
Roswiser followed closely behind.
The little tuft of hair on Moon’s head bobbled as she pondered—though she rarely pondered at all.
After a moment of thinking, Moon seriously said, “Dad.”
“Hmm?”
“What exactly were you and Mom doing at the beach the other day?”
Leon’s steps paused.
Even Roswiser behind them stood still.
He turned to look at Roswiser, who shrugged, meaning, “I have no idea how to explain, you handle it.”
Darn it.
Mother Dragon, it was you who leaned in first back then!
Two days ago, during their last romantic outing, they went for a stroll on the beach.
While strolling, this pair of foolish spouses decided to have some mischievous fun.
It all started with them playfully stepping on each other’s feet—Roswiser was at a disadvantage because once Leon discovered he couldn’t step on her feet, he went for her tail instead—
So, they ran over to the shallow water to have a splash fight.
Then Roswiser slipped and fell backward.
Leon, quick as a flash, grabbed her wrist and supported her waist to help her up.
But due to inertia, Roswiser didn’t manage to stabilize herself in time and accidentally landed in Leon’s arms.
They locked eyes, the waves lapping at their shins, their pupils reflecting the sunset, and the atmosphere grew increasingly steamy.
And then she… totally out of the blue pecked Leon on the corner of his lips.
Just like that, nothing more.
Really~~~ nothing more.
After all, once they both realized the kids might be lurking somewhere watching, they didn’t take it further.
They thought that momentary kiss wouldn’t be caught.
But wait a minute.
If Moon really saw them kissing, she wouldn’t be asking “What were you doing?”
She would be saying something like, “Did you guys kiss kissa?” instead.
So that means… she and Noya must have been watching, but just at that crucial moment, maybe Anna had covered their eyes?
So now she’s curious?
Seeing her parents stay silent, Moon continued, “Anna said that part isn’t for kids, but I’m really curious about what you two were doing!”
Oh, so Anna jumped in just in time.
The Head Maid’s intentions were good, but she overlooked Moon’s curiosity.
At that age, little dragons are incredibly curious.
If Leon and Roswiser didn’t give her a perfect explanation now, they might be stuck with that question for an entire week!
Leon thought for a moment and decided to go for a gentler approach.
“We didn’t do anything; it was just your mom thanking your dad, you know.”
Moon scratched her head. “Thanking?”
“Yep, remember how your mom fell? Your dad helped her up, and she just thanked him in an adult way.”
Leon continued, “And adults have their ways of thanking, while kids have theirs. We can’t peek into each other’s ways, got it, Moon?”
Moon’s eyes lit up as she exclaimed, “Oh, I get it now!”
“Yup, just like that.”
“Then when is Dad going to thank Mom in an adult way?”
Leon: …
Roswiser: “Pfft—”
Almost laughed.
But had to hold it in.
Good girl, by the time your dad thanks me, the sun will rise from the west.
“Alright, Moon, let’s not dig too deep into these questions. You’ll understand when you grow up.”
Roswiser said, “Go play with Dad in the backyard, but be careful. Mom has to get to work.”
Moon nodded obediently. “Okay! Thanks for your hard work, Mom~”
Roswiser stepped forward, gently tapped Moon’s little face, and entered the Silver Dragon Temple.
Leon took his little girl to the backyard.
…
After dinner, Leon sat at his desk, gazing at the last bunny girl photo in his hand, pondering where to stash it away.
The other four had already been hidden in spots where Roswiser would never think to look.
As for this last one, he simply hadn’t figured out the right hiding spot yet.
While he was deep in thought, he heard the door unlocking.
Leon quickly popped the photo into the drawer.
The sound of high heels tapping the floor was precise and rhythmic.
Roswiser, in a long dress, walked into Leon’s room.
Leon glanced at her and asked, “What’s up? You planning to sleep here again tonight?”
Roswiser sat on the edge of his bed, crossed her legs, and smiled sweetly. “What? Is that a problem?”
“Pff, do whatever you want.”
Leon had two trump cards in hand—his well-rested body and his collection of bunny girl photos, with a strategy of “if the enemy doesn’t move, I won’t move; if they move, I’ll strike hard.”
Of course, that was just the ideal scenario.
If this Mother Dragon gave him an opening, he wouldn’t hold back!
Roswiser adjusted her hair, looked out the window, and casually mentioned, “Remember you asked me what you murmured in your sleep that night?”
Leon raised an eyebrow and turned in his chair. “What did I say?”
Roswiser smiled knowingly, lowered her gaze as she fiddled with her nails, and said, “You mentioned you like mature women—like, you know, older women in black stockings and all that…”
Gulp—
Leon swallowed hard.
Did he really let slip those not-so-secret preferences while sleep talking?
Did Roswiser sneak him some truth serum before bed?
“Well, I can understand that. After all, even the strongest Dragon Slayer is still a man, right? It’s perfectly normal for men to have little quirks.”
Leon grinned, keeping his composure.
Based on Roswiser’s speech patterns, there should be a twist coming next.
“But—”
See? Just as he expected.
“I can understand the mature woman and black stockings part, but what I really don’t get is… bunny girls.”
Bunny girls?!
Leon’s heart raced.
Could it be that she found out about him secretly taking bunny girl photos of Roswiser?!
No, no, that can’t be it.
He just checked those four hiding spots, and they were all safe and sound; Roswiser would never find them.
Could it be he actually mentioned bunny girls in his sleep?
Leon was still in disbelief.
“Leon, you like bunny girls, don’t you?” Roswiser asked, smiling.
Leon fidgeted uncomfortably. He adjusted his posture but didn’t deny it. “What if I do? Hobbies are free!”
Yep, hobbies are free, and preferences are also free.
Roswiser shrugged. “I’m not saying anything about it; why are you so worked up?”
She scratched her head as if recalling something. “Oh, by the way, you also said…”
She deliberately elongated her last syllable, enjoying the look of Leon being both anxious and curious.
“Also said?”
“You said you wanted to see your female classmate in a bunny suit for you.”
Bang—!
Leon slapped the table, “You bold evil dragon! What nonsense! I would NEVER say that in my sleep! And… and even if I did, it was definitely about you wearing a bunny suit for me!”
Roswiser was slightly taken aback.
Oh boy, did you just spill your heart out there, riding that wave of boldness?
After a brief moment of surprise, Roswiser decided to put him in his place. “You want me to wear it? Dream on! I will NEVER wear a bunny suit for you!”
Leon’s mind started racing, glancing at the drawer beside him, and seized the opportunity to counter, “What if you did wear it for me, huh? What then?”
“What then? That scenario is impossible!”
Leon waved his hand. “Hold on, before you get all dramatic about it being impossible, just answer me this: if you did wear it, wha—t would you do?”
The Queen huffed, arms crossed proudly, confidently stating, “I don’t care what schemes you have in mind, but if you think you can force me with charm spells or something, that’s impossible! Your little tricks won’t escape my notice. And if for some miracle I actually wore a bunny suit for you, well, do as you please!”
Leon raised an eyebrow. “Are you serious?”
“Dead serious. But you better think this through, Dragon Slayer; if your little plan flops, you know the consequences better than I do, right?”
Leon stood up, chest puffed out, declaring, “Dear Majesty Queen, I don’t need to hatch any plans because… I’ve already done what needed to be done.”
As he spoke, he slowly opened the drawer beside him.
