Less than twenty-four hours after the Silver Dragon Queen imposed the house rule of “no entry to my room after seven” on the captured Leon Casmod, their eldest daughter Noia dropped the above suggestion.
Roswiser thought, “Sweetie, you’re only over a year old, and you’re already singing a different tune from Mommy? What are you trying to do, stage a coup?”
But let’s rewind a bit to what happened just a few minutes earlier.
It was Friday, and Noia had just returned home from Saint His Academy.
After some sisterly bonding, it was time for the weekly family dinner.
The couple had decided to reveal their pregnancy plans once they confirmed the baby.
So, across the dinner table, the husband and wife exchanged glances and subtly nodded to each other.
This was the signal for the scheme to begin.
As previously discussed, they’d start with Moon.
“Moon,” Leon called out his youngest daughter’s name.
The fluffy-haired little dragon raised her head from a tasty steak, bits of meat still clinging to her mouth, “What’s up, Daddy?”
“Your sister is off to school now and isn’t home much, and sometimes Mommy and Daddy have things to do too. Do you feel lonely with no one to play with?”
Moon, with her utensils in hand and her big eyes blinking, pondered for a moment and replied, “Nope.”
The couple was stunned.
Hey, wait a minute! Aren’t you supposed to say, “I’m so lonely! I want someone to play with me, waah!”? That way, Mommy and Daddy could justify getting you a little sister or brother.
Though Moon’s answer caught Leon and Roswiser off guard, they chose to respect their daughter’s reasoning and asked her why.
Moon replied, “Daddy, Mommy, and Sister are all busy. I can understand, so I don’t feel lonely. I’ll just wait for you to finish before I come find you.”
So mature! She’s more mature than 99% of kids her age!
But the dilemma was that this wasn’t the time to be so mature, little one.
Mommy and Daddy really wanted to give you a playmate!
Seeing that their first tactic had failed, the couple swiftly switched to their second approach.
“Well then, Moon, if you could, would you like to add some… other family members at home?”
Hearing this, Noia lifted her head.
Wise little dragon had a hunch about what her parents were trying to say, but she didn’t spill the beans.
After all, it looked like they wanted to work on Moon first before getting to her.
So she just kept eating her dinner and stayed tuned to what clever tricks her parents would pull.
Moon tilted her head, murmuring, “New family members?… Sounds great!”
Leon and Roswiser’s eyes lit up.

But before Roswiser could ask Moon if she wanted a sister or brother, Moon excitedly added,
“I’ve always wanted to have a slime! Are you going to get me a slime, Mommy and Daddy?”
Pfft—cough cough! Noia almost choked on her drink at her sister’s remark.
Moon quickly leaned over to her sister, “Are you okay, Sister?”
Noia waved her hand, “I’m fine… keep listening to Mommy and Daddy.”
“Okay…”
Moon turned back to Leon and Roswiser.
Their expressions mirrored Noia’s, and had they taken a sip of water before that little detour, they might have sprayed it everywhere.
Wasn’t the difference between wanting a slime and a new baby a little too extreme?
After all, for all her maturity, it seemed the one-year-old little dragon still had a mind that kept everyone on their toes.
Roswiser pursed her lips and rephrased, “Moon, that family member isn’t a slime… or any other pet.”
Moon scratched her head, “You asked me if I’d feel lonely with no one around, so I thought you were getting me a pet! So what are you trying to tell me? I feel like you’re beating around the bush.”
Seeing that Moon had started piecing some of this together, Leon decided it was time for a direct approach.
He licked his lips, observing his daughter’s expression as he spoke, “Well… your mommy is pregnant again…”
As soon as these words left his mouth, Moon’s fluffy hair shot straight up!
And it happened in an instant!
Her big eyes shone bright!
Her face was plastered with shock, disbelief, and a whole dictionary of similar expressions.
The steak on her plate suddenly lost its appeal.
Moon stood on her chair, using the table’s edge for support, practically lunging at Leon and Roswiser.
The couple instinctively reached out to protect her, fearful she’d tumble headfirst into the salad bowl.
“Really? Really? Is Mommy really pregnant?” Moon asked excitedly.
Roswiser blushed, gently pressed her hand to her belly, nodded, and softly replied, “Yes.”
Moon’s tail began wagging with excitement.
“Yay!”
Seeing their daughter’s reaction, Leon and Roswiser let out a sigh of relief.
They were worried she might struggle to accept the idea of getting a little sister/brother.
After all, even the sweetest and most understanding kids could have unpredictable reactions.
But thankfully, Moon’s response felt genuine, easing their worries a bit—
Only to be dashed.
Before they could fully relax, Moon chimed in again,
“Then Moon also wants…”
“Wants?”
“I want a sister! ✪ω✪”
Roswiser: “……”
Leon: “……”
Noia: “This is how a sister complex develops, I get it.”
Leon thought he might have been too focused on teaching their daughter skills and neglected basic common sense.
Leading Moon to think that whatever she wanted, Mommy could just pop one out like a magic trick.
If that were really the case, Leon would have reserved a “Little Roswiser” version ages ago.
Since he can’t bully the grown-up version of her, why not the younger one?
“No, Moon, Mommy can’t just give you a sister right now…” Leon attempted to explain.
Little Moon blinked, “It’s okay.”
What a good girl, those bizarre thoughts came and went in a flash—no need for Dad to say much—
“If a sister isn’t possible, then a brother is acceptable too,” Moon said earnestly.
Leon’s head hit the table. He gave up trying to explain.
In the end, it was up to the queen to take charge,
“Moon, neither a sister nor a brother is feasible. If we’re going by your logic, you can only choose between a sister and a brother.”
After a pause, Roswiser realized her thinking had also been twisted by her daughter and added, “Actually, it’s not even something you can choose… whether a sister or brother, Mommy can’t say for sure.”
“Is that so…” Moon’s eyes shifted, “Then I want a sister! Mommy has to work hard to give me a sister~”
Well, though it sounded a tad strange, at least Moon seemed to grasp what was going on.
Roswiser nodded with a smile, “Mommy will do her best.”
Once they wrapped things up with the youngest, the couple turned to their eldest daughter.
In stark contrast to Moon, Noia wore a calm expression as if saying, “So this is how it is.”
She raised her head and blinked, “Hmm? Is it my turn now? I have no objections, but I do have a suggestion.”
The couple was taken aback; they didn’t expect Noia to face the matter so composedly.
But thinking about it carefully, it suited her “sensible big sister” persona.
Even if she felt pretty excited inside, she had to maintain a facade of “just a pregnancy, no big deal.”
“What’s your suggestion?” Leon asked.
“I suggest you two live together.”
