The Queen’s Diary (Pregnancy Edition)
January 13th: Snowed again today! Anna still won’t let me go outside, so I’m stuck indoors doing yoga with Milan. At least Leon decided to join me this time. After class, I went out to the balcony, as usual, to watch my daughters play in the snow.
Leon stood there for a while and suddenly seemed to have a lightbulb moment, rushing off. When he returned, he was cradling a little snowman that was almost melting away.
This snowman was obviously a “girl,” with long hair, an oval face, and a simple yet adorable tail. Leon claimed he made it to resemble me.
I thought about complimenting him; he seemed to know how to make me happy.
But then this dog man asked, “Pretty, right?” before smashing that snowman to smithereens.
He just stepped on two of my landmines with that move:
1. That was something I always wanted to do to him, and he stole my idea!
2. The melted snow messed up my floor.
Great, he builds my snowman during the day, so I’ll make a ‘little person’ out of him tonight in revenge. Unsurprisingly, he threw in the towel and rebuilt me a snowman, placing it outside on the balcony.
Well, that made me happy.
January 14th: Yoga.
January 15th: Yoga.
January 16th: Yoga.
January 17th: I gave Milan a day off. Things didn’t turn out as I initially thought. Yoga does k*ll time, but over time, it gets a bit dull. I wanted to go for a walk, but Anna probably won’t let me.
January 18th: My Holy Temple has turned into a ‘prison,’ and I need to escape! My accomplice? Leon Casmod. Today, we hatched a detailed escape plan.
First, tomorrow evening after dinner, Leon will go find Anna under the pretense of checking her recent agency work and will ‘patrol’ the Holy Temple.
Meanwhile, I’ll use that opportunity to sneak out the front door. The most dangerous place is actually the safest; Anna would never expect me to sneak out through the main entrance.
Next, I’ll prepare a maid outfit to trick the guards into thinking I belong to the maid brigade, so there’ll be no commotion.
Lastly, by the time Anna realizes her queen has successfully escaped, I’ll be outside playing with my darling daughters for quite a while!
The plan is perfect; the escape is bound to succeed!
January 19th: Escape failed.
Anna said His Royal Highness never cares about the Silver Dragon Race’s trivial matters. When he suddenly came to her about checking work, she sensed something was off. Turns out, she was right—Your Majesty was thinking about making a run for it.
Stupid Casmod, how can you not handle something like this? What use do I have for you!

February 20th: Six months pregnant now, and my belly is huge! Back pain is frequent; I can’t stand for long, so yoga class has been suspended. My daily routine now consists of the bed, dining table, and bathroom—three points in a line.
February 21st: Leon brought me a bunch of new toys—Rubik’s cube, wooden toy cars, locks, those pesky Chinese ring puzzles, and a bunch of other trinkets. I asked where he got them, and he said he made them himself. As if! These are products of human genius. You dragon folks wouldn’t have anything like this, right?
I said, “Hmm, cool! I like them!”
Leon replied, “They’re not for you; they’re for the second baby. I just lent them to you because you look so bored stuck in here.”
I couldn’t be bothered to burst his bubble.
Those Chinese ring puzzles are super fun! Hehe.
February 25th: Noia is starting school soon; it’s her second semester at Saint His Academy. Hoping my daughter can achieve even greater scores!

March 5th: When measuring Moon’s height today, I found she’s grown a lot since last year! She has transformed from a small loli into a medium loli. By the end of this year, she should be a big loli!
Leon said the girl is getting prettier, just like him.
I told him he has no shame.
He got flustered.
“Don’t worry; there will be plenty for you to be flustered about later.”
March 6th: The clan doctor came to check on me, and said the baby is developing nicely; the due date is probably at the end of June. The doctor also said I’m in good health, especially my mental state, which is much better than when I was pregnant with Noia and Moon. This is very beneficial for the baby’s development.
Before leaving, the doctor couldn’t help but gossip a bit, asking, “Your Majesty, is it because His Royal Highness is accompanying you this year that your spirits are so high?”
While I didn’t want to admit it, Leon has indeed done an excellent job of relieving my pregnancy anxiety these past few months.

April 7th: My sister wrote to mention the Red Flame Dragon King, Constantine, that we talked about in Sky City. She said he’s sent significant forces to cause trouble near the Wind Dragon Tribe and is continuously provoking minor conflicts to perhaps incite a clash.
Strangely, though, he hasn’t dispatched his elite troops, just eyeing the perimeter of the Wind Dragon territory.
But this could be a prelude to war. My sister said she’s been secretly communicating with the Wind Dragon Tribe lately, fearing that Constantine might pull some tricks to attack her Red Dragon Tribe. Hence, she hasn’t been able to visit me during my pregnancy, for which she apologized.
In my reply, I said there’s no need for apologies. If necessary, as I mentioned before, I can send some Silver Dragon forces to help her.
She said not for now; she’ll reach out when she needs military assistance.

May 15th: Noia came home for the weekend and said she’ll be on summer break next month. Once I have the baby, our family of five will go play at the beach.
Of course, I agreed.
But I can’t help but sigh about how fast time flies. The due date is approaching fast.
May 29th: In the afternoon, a thunderous boom erupted from the back mountain of the Holy Temple, and the sky darkened due to the powerful arcane waves.
I initially thought a Dangerous Species had slipped in, until I spotted Leon trying to sneak back from the mountain, and I knew he was up to something.
At dinner, I asked him what he was working on up there, how he made such a ruckus.
He stammered like he was hiding something.
Not willing to spill? Fine, let’s initiate the long-lost 2:30 truth-or-dare segment.
Turns out, he was testing his magic recovery levels. Given that bang and the whole “world turned colors” show, this dog man seems to have returned to peak form.
But I just learned he had been low on magic before. How sneaky! If I’d known, I would’ve bullied him more when he wasn’t fully powered.

June 29th: Roswiser’s due date.
In the evening, the bedroom was packed with the maid brigade and several top female doctors from the clan.
The queen’s delivery is of utmost importance; there must be no mistakes.
I lay on the big bed, utterly weak, with occasional contractions making my forehead and cheeks sweaty.
The doctors were constantly watching my condition, providing me with the safest delivery environment.
The maids were bustling around, not resting for a moment.
By this last step, Leon couldn’t do much, just quietly sitting on the balcony, holding Moon. Noia stood beside him, holding her little sister’s hand, the three of them quietly waiting.
Suddenly, Leon felt a strange palpitation, like something bad was about to happen.
Noia seemed to sense Leon’s worry and comforted him, “Daddy, Mommy will be fine. Once she has the baby and recovers, we’ll all go to the beach together.”
Such a little sweetheart, always understanding.
Leon adjusted his mood, patted her head, and smiled, “Okay.”
Then he turned to look at the sky; the sunset painted the heavens red, like a burning fire.
