The two teamed up and pinned the Dragon Slayer Hero against the wall, ripping his shirt open.
The dragon pattern on his chest flickered twice before fading away.
Looking at the silver markings on the captain’s chest, Rebecca raised her perfectly shaped eyebrow and whistled, “Captain, this magic circle… is a bit naughty, huh?”
“Magic circle my foot, kid! What the heck is this thing?”
Leon, avoiding eye contact, stammered, “Uh… it’s a tattoo, really just a tattoo.”
“Do tattoos in your family glow purple? This obviously isn’t a normal tattoo!” The Master saw right through the mystery.
“Hey! That’s not true! Master, even though this tattoo looks a bit naughty and indecent, it’s actually proof of pure love from the War God.” Leon said seriously.
“Do elaborate.”
“Uh… I can’t really elaborate on that.”
“Why not?” the Master asked.
“Isn’t it obvious, Old Man? This is a matching couple tattoo from the Captain and his dragon wife!”
Rebecca had an ‘I understand everything’ expression, hinting, “But the magic of the Dragon Race is quite diverse, who knows if this tattoo has other purposes?”
Crafty, this young one, knows everything.
Leon quickly dressed, stood up, and changed the subject, “As for other purposes, that’s a private matter between me and Roswiser. You just need to know that this tattoo is my magic power storage now.”
Rebecca pouted, “Hmph, fine, if you won’t say, I’ll just look it up myself later.”

The three returned to the campfire and continued discussing their plans.
“Since our little brat can’t use magic right now, we need to be more cautious with every step we take.” Taige said.

Taige nodded, “Earlier, you mentioned the first step is to dig out the traitor who framed you. What’s your plan?”
“Let’s first find Victor. Rebecca said he became a resident singer at a bar after leaving the Dragon Slayer Army. We can get to him easier than Martin, who’s stuck living at the minister’s place.” Leon replied.
“Sounds good. Let’s call it a day for now; we’ll start our action tomorrow night.”
“Sure. Oh, and I’ll take the watch tonight. You and Rebecca should get some rest.”
Taige shook his head, “You take the first half, and I’ll take the second.”
Leon, knowing how stubborn the Master was, didn’t argue, “No problem, Master.”
“Wait a minute!” Rebecca suddenly raised her hand.
“What is it?”
With her chest puffed out and chin held high, Rebecca feigned seriousness, “Since we’re all risking our lives together, we should come up with a group name.”
Leon and Taige exchanged glances, shrugging in unison.
“What do you want to call the group?”
“Old Man, Foolish Straight Man, and Cute Girl Group, how about that?”
Leon grinned, teasing, “That’s such a straightforward name; if it were any longer, it could be a thesis!”
“Tch! Then how about… The Old, Weak, Sickly, and Disabled Group!”
“The Old, Weak, Sickly, and Disabled?”
Rebecca nodded and explained, “Old Man is old; I’m a delicate little flower with no strength, so I’m weak; the Captain can’t harness magic and doesn’t know why, so he’s sickly.”
Leon couldn’t help but applaud the Artillery Master’s logic, “Makes perfect sense and is quite convincing. Now hurry up and sleep, you weak little girl.”
Rebecca happily lay by the fire, and Taige covered her with the only blanket they had.
He didn’t expect Leon to come back so early with a teammate for a three-pack duo, so not much in the way of supplies had been prepared.

Once the Master lay down, Leon slowly made his way outside.
He sat on the dusty steps, looking up into the night sky.

Leon silently sighed in relief.
Thank goodness, they were all the names of my daughters.
