### Chapter 34: Too Noisy!
Let’s first set aside the dream narrator’s business and focus on another pressing issue.
Night Lan turned her head to face the motionless Wish Princess and began pondering.
“Hmm… Is this Wish Princess really just a doll? But why did she suddenly come out and break the dream? Shouldn’t that be impossible? No way she’s a doll, right?”
Night Lan’s heart soon grew uneasy.
She cautiously approached the Wish Princess and ventured a question. “Um… cute Wish Princess, do you have self-awareness? You shouldn’t be a doll, right? If you can talk, say something, at least give me some peace of mind, please.”
At this moment, the Wish Princess finally moved her gaze.
She glanced at Night Lan.
“Noisy!”
“Whoa! Ooh!”
Before Night Lan could react, the Wish Princess transformed into a beam of light and returned to her body. Night Lan looked hurt.
“Where’s the noise? Was it my mumbling from last time? It seemed like normal conversation, so I’m truly sorry…”
It seemed the Wish Princess had already gone back to her body. Who knows if she could even hear.
“Alright, looks like there’s nothing to worry about.”
Given the Wish Princess’s reaction, she didn’t seem to have any intention of abandoning her clueless owner. Although she said “noisy,” she obediently went back to her body—a classic case of an arrogant yet adorable celestial star!
“Heehee~ Wish Princess is amazing!”
With that thought, Night Lan felt less afraid of stars’ unknowns.
The Night Watchers’ common sense already included an element of awe towards high-level stars. High-level stars might have their own consciousness, and accidental awakenings could lead to rebellions, like increasing the chances of a Star Eclipsing.
Night Lan remembered this, so she always felt a bit intimidated by the Wish Machine.
But after seeing the Wish Princess’s reaction today, Night Lan no longer feared that much.
Unknowns were scary but not after knowing.
Even though she complained about being noisy but honestly returned to her body, the Wish Princess was super cute!
Sadly, the Wish Princess seemed limited to appearing during these dream states and couldn’t exist in reality.
Unless Night Lan wished for it specifically. But that felt a bit off, so it was better to play it safe.
Night Lan shook off her jumbled thoughts and resumed her journey.
With being delayed for so long, Kong Yu Bai and Book Yao must have waited at their destination for ages.
Now, she needed to get over there as quickly as possible.
A little later, Night Lan successfully reached the entrance of the entertainment zone and met with the two women as planned.
Kong Yu Bai and Book Yao indeed arrived early.
They appeared to have waited for quite some time.
Seeing them, Night Lan briskly walked over.
“Waaaaaah! Finally, I found you guys!”
Night Lan immediately jumped into Kong Yu Bai’s embrace, starting to act cute.
Kong Yu Bai placed her hands on Night Lan’s back, smiling.

“It was like this, when I first entered the dream, I ran into the Dream Narrator! The one who weaves this world! He was after me and used some weird ability to lull me to sleep, making me see a really weird dream!”
As she spoke, Night Lan poured in more emotion, becoming increasingly charming to Kong Yu Bai and Book Yao.
Only after finishing her dream story did Kong Yu Bai and Book Yao continue their questions.
“What happened after that?”
“The Dream Narrator got scared away because he underestimated me. Plus, I squeezed a weakness out of him. Not sure how useful it will be though.”
“Is that true? Sounds thrilling.”
Kong Yu Bai rubbed her chin thoughtfully.
Book Yao also let out a sigh. “No harm done, that’s all we can hope for.”
Sharing her experience lightened Night Lan’s mood.
“In any case, let’s not worry about it for now. Let’s have some fun, okay?”
Kong Yu Bai and Book Yao softly nodded, then joined Night Lan in a carefree stroll and tour.
Time passed.
The dream nearing its end.
Night Lan hurried to return to the Night Watchers’ headquarters before the bell sounded, fetching minimal data from their leader.
“Ugh… Leader, our information collection keeps decreasing.”
Leader shook his head helplessly.
“At this point, it’s almost saturated. We need to get closer to the Dream Narrator, but no luck finding him last night. We’ll try again next time.”
“Awkay…”
Night Lan was dying to make a snark.
The elusive Dream Narrator they spent a whole night chasing was encountered by her upon arrival.
Talk about opposite luck.
Wonder what the Leader’s reaction would be.
But that could wait till they return to reality.

A melodic tune echoed through the air, resounding throughout the dream.
People began falling asleep in the dream.
The dream started collapsing.
Night Lan scanned around and realized the Dream Narrator and Dream Pursuer Yin stood in that void.
This time, they weren’t staring elsewhere but directly at Night Lan.
“Uh?”
Night Lan froze, suddenly feeling nervous.
The lips of the Dream Narrator moved, but it was too far for her to hear clearly, only catching her lips forming words,
“They… targeted… you…”
Night Lan’s breath caught.
“Ji!”
Reality returned instantly!
Night Lan woke up with a start, looking horrified.
“Sigh… What did he mean? Am I targeted? What does he want? To cause such panic! That Dream Narrator is seriously up to no good!”
No matter what happens.
Night Lan needed to stay vigilant over the next period.
If that j*rk dared to mess with her, she’d strike first and use a wish to get rid of him.
Sure, it might throw her into a strange timeline, but way better than feeling helpless and uneasy.
“Phew! I’m not scared at all! Bring it on!”
Shouting to release some tension, the anxiety vanished.
Right now, the most important thing was to report all collected info to the Leader.
Every detail gathered, no matter from the dream or during her daytime wanderings, or the weakness the Dream Narrator admitted, had to be brought to the Leader.
If it helps Night Watchers quickly tackle the Dream Narrator, Night Lan wouldn’t feel so petrified anymore.
Then, organizing the info, she sent it off to her Leader.
