Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You – Chapter 197

Chapter 6: You Got It Again

Although Little Light was born later than her two sisters, she had seen just as many good shows as they had.

I mean, who hold a no-holds-barred fight in front of a baby less than a month old?

When this couple started squabbling, they really pulled out all the stops.

Roswiser knew that Leon’s weak spot was his lower back, so she went to town poking it with her tail tip.

Leon was well aware that Mother Dragon’s rear made quite the noise, so he launched attacks aimed at her ample dragon backside.

In the end, the Silver Dragon Queen used her racial advantage (that flexible and long tail) to successfully subdue General Leon.

With a pair of long legs clamped around this Dog Man’s neck and her tail wrapped around his waist—a perfect scissor hold.

The posture wasn’t exactly graceful, but it got the job done.

Leon found himself between the legs of this Evil Dragon, the freshly applied sunscreen scent wafting into his nostrils, mingled with a hint of briny seawater.

Ah, the scent of the ocean.

“Are you going to submit?” Roswiser pinched his cheeks, forcing him to look up at her.

With her legs perched on his shoulders and his mouth squished into an “O” shape, he responded defiantly,

“Absolutely not! In my entire life as Casmod, I’ve never uttered a single ‘submit.’ Do you really think a scissor hold is enough to win me over, little Evil Dragon? Laughable!”

“Dragon~Pattern~Activate!”

“Submit, submit, submit, submit, oh submit~”

He patted Roswiser’s thigh. In the world of combat sports, that move was a sign of capitulation.

Roswiser snorted coldly and finally released Leon.

Leon stood up, rubbing his face, which had been unceremoniously squished by her legs. It still carried the warmth of her dragon belly and a faint sunscreen smell.

He wiped his face awkwardly, trying to scrub off the sticky sunscreen.

“Why wipe it off? That’s sunscreen to prevent sunburn!” Roswiser protested.

“A walnut squeezed in a door won’t help your brain, and sunscreen on your legs won’t block sunlight.”

“Oh, such a poetic touch! I bet you must have scored high on your thesis when you graduated from Dragon-Slaying Academy, huh?”

Leon clapped his hands, sprawling back on his beach chair, and scooped up Little Light. “Of course! My topic was quite innovative too.”

“What was it about?”

“When a Mother Dragon insists on becoming your wife, how should you deal with it?”

Roswiser rolled her eyes in disbelief, knowing he was just pulling her leg.

Anyone else would have gotten nothing but a cold shoulder for talking to her, the Silver Dragon Queen, like that.

But she didn’t mind spending time bantering with Leon over such nonsense.

Why, you ask?

Well, dragon lifespans are long, and you gotta waste some time here or there; otherwise, you’re just sitting around.

It’s not because this Dog Man has anything special going on with her.

“Me? Insist on being your wife? What dream are you having?”

“Ah, women! Always with the stubbornness,” Leon mused while teasing Little Light.

Roswiser shot him a glare. “Hmph, childish.”

After their playful bickering ended, the couple began to fully enjoy the seaside bliss.

With the mildly salty, refreshing sea breeze blowing, their long-burdened fatigue and stress seemed to dissipate into the wind.

Feeling the vastness of the ocean, their worries and woes seemed trivial in comparison.

“Speaking of which, humans’ territories must be far from the sea, right?”

Leon nodded, “I’ve only seen the ocean once in my life, and it was while marching for war. Didn’t get a chance to savor it.”

On this magical continent filled with wonders, various races coexisted. Besides the humans and dragons fighting for limited resources, many other races were engaged in similar contests in different parts.

Each group had its own advantages and resources.

For example, humans had abundant land resources, vast territories suitable for agriculture and animal husbandry.

They could also expand their population to extract Super SSRs like General Leon—plenty of space to spare and they could keep having kids like it’s going out style—

But in the heart of the Empire, having more than two kids gets you a fine.

Don’t ask—just know it’s “the policy from above.”

Then there were the dragons, who, though lacking in land resources compared to humans and having smaller territories, had the advantage of diversity.

With resources from the sea, steep mountains, and Sky Cities, they boasted a stunning environment that fostered various dragon branches excelling in different fields.

Naturally, with such rich environments, dragons had many more vacation choices than humans and other races.

Roswiser slowly lifted her delicate arm, pointing towards the distant sea,

“Farther out in this sea is the territory of the Sea Dragon Race.”

Leon raised an eyebrow, “So we’re throwing a party at someone else’s doorstep, huh?”

Roswiser shook her head, chuckling, “Nope, they’re far, far away. Besides, the Sea Dragon Race itself is quite different from most dragons; they aren’t aggressive at all and can even be described as… a little soft. Have you fought them before?”

“Nope.”

Leon replied straightforwardly, then added, “Actually, this is the first time I’ve ever heard of such a race; they weren’t mentioned in the textbooks.”

“Really? Probably because that group of Sea Dragons is too low-key. They haven’t caused any trouble for thousands of years.”

Roswiser said slowly, “Especially about thirty years ago or so—no one really knows why, but the various public areas of the dragon race, like Sky City and Saint His Academy, rarely if ever see them.”

Leon’s interest piqued, “Were they attacked by other races?”

“Unclear. The Sea Dragon Race inhabits a unique environment; typically, dragons can’t reach their true homeland, so their current situation remains a mystery.”

“True homeland? What do you mean?”

Roswiser sat up from her beach chair, patiently explaining to her captive student,

“Isn’t it your impression that all dragons share the same giant dragon form?”

Leon nodded, “Four legs, a pair of wings, a tail, and a dragon head that feels incredibly smooth to chop off.”

Roswiser gave him a look that screamed “really?”, while Leon flashed a toothy grin, “Keep going, keep going.”

“What you said is mostly true; nearly all dragon forms look like that. But the Sea Dragon Race is a peculiar branch.”

Roswiser continued, “Their dragon form resembles a massively enlarged python, yet they still have dragon horns and tails.”

“At the same time, aside from the differences in appearance, the Sea Dragon Race also has a unique body structure, equipping them with organs that allow them to breathe underwater, enabling them to linger at the seabed for extended periods.”

“And leveraging this advantage, they established their true empire underwater—a place called Atlantis.”

Leon repeated this strange name, “Atlantis…”

“Yep, there, almost no wars can touch them; it’s a real paradise.”

Roswiser sighed in relief, “So I reckon their sudden low-profile is probably not due to any invasion from other races.”

Leon mulled over this heap of new information, then exhaled slowly, “Looks like I still know too little about your dragon race.”

Roswiser chuckled, shrugged, “You’re still young, you’ve explored too little, and your experiences are scant. The history of dragons, however, is long—very long!”

Leon snickered, diving back into playing with Little Light, “But honestly, I’m not that interested in learning about other dragon races. Just figuring out what Melkway thinks about every day is tiring enough. I couldn’t care less about others.”

Roswiser blinked her beautiful silver eyes, a knowing smile creeping onto her face, “Oh~~ I get it.”

“You understood again? What did you understand?”

The silver-haired beauty slowly turned to look at him, squinting with a smile,

“Your eyes are only on me, is that what you’re saying?”

“Mother Dragon, just wait until tomorrow, I’ll poke my eyes out to prove my innocence!”
