Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You – Chapter 254

65 Impersonating Nuwa

(Angry Update 5K Words 2.0)

As thousands of dragons clashed, magic roared, and giants roared, hardly anyone noticed the movement of a small child.

Yet, even so, crossing a battlefield required immense courage and a quick wit that surpassed most.

The lightning of thousands of birds reflected on that innocent little face. Though she was only a two-year-old, the clarity and determination in her eyes rivaled that of an adult.

Some said Noia K. Melkway was just a paper tiger, or merely a kid who bullied her classmates.

But today, when facing an opponent of the level of Star Wanderer Dragon King, her offensive was unhesitant.

Like her father, she didn’t need to prove anything to anyone; she would do whatever she thought was right without a care for the consequences.

Even if it was dangerous, life-threatening, or likely to be a one-way ticket.

Rave slowly turned his head, but before he could make out who the ambusher was, a sharp pain shot through his right shoulder.

He shook his wrist, yet immediately steadied himself, spinning around to land a side kick that sent the small figure flying.

Rave glared at Noia, his eyes revealing his undisguised ferocity and rage, “She’s just a kid…”

Being successfully ambushed by a child was a monumental disgrace for a Dragon King like him.

But surely that had to be the daughter of Silver Dragon King and Casmod, right? Rave squinted at Noia, who lay on the ground, clearly stronger than a typical young dragon.

And much stronger at that.

But even so, she was still just a child; even successfully ambushing him wouldn’t shake the Star Wanderer Dragon King in the slightest.

“Don’t rush, little bunny, once I’m done with your mom and dad, you’re next—”

“How dare you… touch my daughter?”

At the next moment, time seemed to slow down.

Rave silently cursed his luck, immediately pulling his gaze from Noia, but just as he turned his head, the barrier in front of him shattered like fragile glass.

Following that, a large hand reached out from the shards and grasped Rave’s neck tight.

At that moment, Rave felt his throat and windpipe were about to be crushed.

He struggled to remain calm, trying to raise his hand to reform the barrier.

But it was too late.

Rave’s body was lifted like a rag doll by Leon, who then swung him through the air in a large arc, slamming him into the ground.

The impact was so tremendous that it created a shallow pit under Rave, cracks rapidly spreading outwards.

Rave’s back took the brunt of the shock, nearly shattering his lungs.

At that moment, the Star Wanderer Dragon King was utterly stunned into silence by the strength of the man before him.

He was… a Dragon King!

How was it that a Dragon King’s body could feel as fragile as a sheet of paper in the hands of this Casmod guy?!

His dragon eyes surged with unspeakable fury and shock as he gripped Leon’s wrist, trying to break free.

Steam poured from under Silver armor as Leon increased his grip a notch.

Rave let out a muffled groan, his eyes bulging, bl**d vessels bursting.

Moments later, the armored man spoke softly, “Don’t move.”

Those simple words carried no emotion, sounding like an order that could not be refused.

And that “don’t move” wasn’t just meant for Rave; it applied to the other two Dragon Kings as well.

While Leon subdued Rave, Roswiser immediately rushed towards Noia.

“Noia! Noia, are you okay?”

The queen knelt down, cradling her daughter in her arms.

bl**d trickled from Noia’s mouth; although her earlier ambush momentarily distracted Rave, allowing Leon to shatter the barrier, she was still just a two-year-old whose undeveloped body couldn’t escape injury from being kicked by a Dragon King.

Roswiser used basic healing magic to alleviate Noia’s wounds.

Noia quickly stirred back awake.

Upon regaining consciousness, her first words were, “Did I help, Mommy…?”

With tears in her eyes, Roswiser wiped the dirt and bl**d from her daughter’s face. “Yes, you helped a lot, Noia. You helped mommy and daddy a great deal.”

The scrunched brows from the pain slowly relaxed, revealing a faint, forced smile on Noia’s little face, “That’s good.”

Roswiser embraced her daughter, rising slowly and glancing over at Leon not far away.

Leon happened to meet her gaze as well.

She subtly nodded, indicating that Noia was fine.

Just as Leon was about to respond, he suddenly felt Rave’s breathing become slightly erratic, and then—

Boom!—

A heavy punch slammed directly into Rave’s face at point-blank range, instantly burying his entire head into the ground.

bl**d poured into the cracks on the ground while Rave’s limbs twitched once.

“I told you, don’t move.”

The one who had previously called Leon’s wife and daughter the Dragon’s weak spot was now nothing but a headless corpse;

As for how this real threat to Noia would fare…

Well, it’s like this—breathing wrong could lead to your doom.

Leon held the nearly lifeless Rave and slowly lifted him.

This scene left the other two Dragon Kings completely dumbfounded.

This wasn’t what the imperial intelligence had said, right?

Weren’t they supposed to believe Leon Casmod’s power was barely stronger than Constantine’s?

How?

Do humans and dragons define “barely” differently?

One punch took Rave out—this was barely?!

Blay and Jagers slowly backed away, the spatial magic array gradually dissipating.

But the ghostly blue rift on the ground remained.

“What do we do now? Star’s dead, and Rave is probably next.”

Blay swallowed hard, “Do we really need to keep fighting that monster?”

But nobody responded.

“Jagers? Jagers? Hello?”

Blay looked to the side, only to find it empty.

Blay: ?

Spatial magic sure is convenient; his teammates didn’t even feel him ditching them.

Seeing the situation, Blay swiftly activated spatial magic for a speedy exit.

With a monster like Leon around, let him k*ll anyone he wants; I’m not getting into that mess.

With both helpers gone, Rave had no escape left.

He was held by Leon by the neck, dangling in the air, just moments away from suffocation.

At this point… was there any way to remedy the situation?

Was he supposed to follow Star’s lead and take Leon down with him?

No, impossible.

Who knows what other tricks Leon has up his sleeve? Going down together might work against other opponents but certainly not against this armored monster.

In front of Leon, even Rave’s strong obsession with revenge was starting to waver.

His hazy brain struggled to think.

Suddenly, his peripheral vision caught the spatial rift nearby.

“Ah… if that’s the case…” he muttered softly.

“What?”

“Leon Casmod, let’s make a bet; let’s see if you can really give up everything for your so-called family.”

“What are you—”

Rave exploded upwards suddenly, kicking off Leon’s chest plate with force. He heard a horrible rending sound as bl**d spewed from his throat.

In a self-destructive move to break free from Leon’s grasp, Rave’s throat was instantaneously gushing with bl**d.

Leon was taken aback by Rave’s desperate act.

By the time he regained his composure, Rave had staggered to the side of the spatial rift.

Holding his bleeding throat with one hand, he placed the other over his heart.

“Fine, I admit it, Leon Casmod, even with your strength, no other Dragon King has a chance of returning.” Rave’s voice was hoarse from the damage.

“Your admission means nothing to me, Rave.”

“Right… strong enough to be invincible, doesn’t need anyone’s approval. But just like I said, can you really sacrifice everything for the ones you care about?”

“What do you want?”

Rave stopped responding. The next second, his heart started to glow.

Moments later, Rave ripped a dragon scale from his heart.

This scale was different from the ones covering the body; it was more translucent, like a glistening crystal.

Roswiser squinted slightly, “Heartguard Dragon Scale…”

Rave didn’t want to self-destruct like Star; dragons could only gather the energy needed for self-detonation while the Heartguard Dragon Scale was still in their heart.

So, what exactly was Rave planning…?

“Say goodbye to this world!”

He raised the dragon scale, then plunged it into the spatial rift beneath him.

As the scale entered the rift, a terrifying energy erupted, instantly annihilating the closest Dragon King, Rave himself.

Leon reacted quickly, immediately rushing in front of Roswiser and Noia, swiftly activating the fifth gate of the Nine Hells to transport the mother-daughter pair to safety.

Fortunately, the explosion range was narrow and didn’t last long.

Once the energy dissipated, a nearly two-meter-wide spatial rift appeared beside Rave’s charred corpse.

And the rift continued to expand, sucking surrounding sand and stones inward.

Even Rave’s body was drawn into it.

Inside the rift, only swirling black clouds and relentless lightning could be seen.

It created a stark contrast with the surrounding environment, as if a hole had been forcibly torn in reality itself.

“He forcibly opened the previous teleportation magic using the Heartguard Dragon Scale.”

Roswiser said, “But clearly, the magic went out of control; the rift keeps expanding. Though slowly, if this continues, it won’t be long before everything around here is consumed, and who knows when it will stop.”

Just when one wave receded, another rose.

After Rave’s d*ath, the Star Wanderer Dragon race all retreated.

The Silver Dragon warriors soon arrived, also noticing the continually expanding rift.

Anna stood next to Roswiser and, after inquiring about Noia’s injuries, started discussing how to close the rift, “What if we hit it with equal magical power? Could we forcefully terminate it?”

Roswiser bit her lip; she had no other options at the moment, being less knowledgeable about spatial magic, she could only give it a try.

Confirming her dislike, the Silver Dragons gathered their energies and went for the rift.

However, all their magical attacks were sucked into the rift with no effect whatsoever.

Cold sweat streamed down Anna’s forehead, “How could this be…”

As she spoke, the rift stretched to about five meters in width.

The suction grew stronger.

Roswiser stared at the rift; if it had gone out of control due to Rave’s Heartguard Dragon Scale, then conversely, if another Dragon King with a Heartguard Dragon Scale were to be present, they could stop it.

And she was the only Dragon King there.

If it were possible, Roswiser would have used her Heartguard Dragon Scale to end this crisis without hesitation.

But her dragon scale was already—

“I know what to do.”

Leon’s voice was heavy.

Roswiser turned to him, “What?”

“Before Rave opened the rift, he asked me whether I would give up everything for you. I think that question meant…”

He lowered his head, pondering briefly, then slowly looked at his wife beside him, “Only I can stop this.”

Hearing this, Roswiser froze, her silver eyes trembling slightly, as she seemed to guess what Leon was about to do.

“Leon… no, absolutely not…”

The queen’s voice quaked slightly.

She couldn’t accept that outcome.

No matter what, she could not accept it.

Leon didn’t answer; he simply reached up to try to remove the Black Gold Battle Armor helmet.

This time, it came off easily.

Beneath the helmet was that familiar resolute profile she had seen countless times, with a few scars she was all too familiar with.

Leon showed no expression; silently, he shoved the helmet into Roswiser’s hands.

Clink—

The helmet fell to the ground.

She didn’t dare pick it up.

“No… Leon, no…”

Roswiser held Noia tightly in one arm while trying to grip Leon’s wrist with the other, nearly pleading, “We’ll think of another way; there has to be another way.”

Leon fell silent for a moment, then gently pulled his arm away from Roswiser’s grip.

He turned his gaze to their daughter in her embrace.

The pain had caused Noia to temporarily lose consciousness.

Well, perhaps losing consciousness was better…

Leon reached out, gently pinching Noia’s cheek.

After a long time, that resolute face revealed a bittersweet smile.

“You’ll definitely protect mommy and your sisters, Noia.”

He believed in his eldest daughter, just as she had just believed that if she drew Rave’s attention away, her father would surely be able to turn the tide.

“Your Royal Highness…”

“Your Royal Highness! I can seal the rift for you! The Silver Dragons cannot afford to lose you!” a Dragon Warrior said.

Hearing a dragon was willing to sacrifice himself for him made Leon feel complicated.

He looked at the warrior and shook his head.

“Sealing the rift requires more than just courage and resolve; I don’t mean to sound arrogant, but unfortunately, that’s simply the fact.”

Rave’s final words before his d*ath were both a message and a curse; he wanted Leon to make this critical choice.

Of course, Leon was right; he was the only one present who had the power to close the rift.

Roswiser’s power might not be enough.

Even if it was, Leon wouldn’t let her do it.

Roswiser’s assessment of him was absolutely correct:

Confident, a bit of a show-off, and a foolish hero.

But hey.

Which boy hasn’t fantasized about being the one to charge into danger when the end of the world approaches, reining chaos back in and saving the day while everyone looks on in awe?

Leon was merely turning that fantasy into reality.

He took a deep breath, slowly exhaled, and then gradually stepped towards the abyss-like rift.

“Leon! You can’t go, you absolutely can’t go.”

Roswiser rushed forward, desperately clutching Leon’s hand, nearly pleading, “If you go, I’ll hate you for the rest of my life; I really will. You can’t go.”

Leon blinked, a lump forming in his throat. He avoided looking at Roswiser; his voice lowered, “You are the Dragon Queen, Roswiser; don’t act like this in front of your tribe.”

“I’ll go with you—”

“What about the girls?”

“……”

Leon gently pressed down on Roswiser’s hand.

This time, she didn’t stop him.

He stepped forward to the rift, turning his back on the Silver Dragon Queen.

The rift’s suction continued increasing, whipping up a powerful wind.

Her silver hair danced, and she dared not turn to see Leon.

“Roswiser Melkway.”

Whenever he called her by her full name, it seemed to be of great importance.

Roswiser hesitated for a moment, then finally mustered the courage to look at him.

That imposing figure stood before the abyss rift, half-turned, a look of relief on his face.

He then said three words.

But they were swallowed by the roar of the rift.

In the next instant, Leon’s figure disappeared within.

A resounding wave of lightning surged forth.

The rift trembled as lightning burst out, prompting everyone to step back.

Gradually, the spatial rift visibly began to shrink.

Finally, it disappeared altogether.

“Your Royal Highness…”

“Your Majesty? Your Majesty…”

Roswiser held Noia close to her chest and walked back to where she had just stood, speechless and lost.

She slowly knelt down, picking up the helmet from the ground, then held it tightly to her chest.

On it, it seemed like his warmth lingered.
