After drinking the Mint Cool Tea, Leon didn’t immediately toss aside the ‘antidote’; instead, he found a small box to save it.
This was just a backup plan.
The whole situation surrounding the Alchemy Room Infection Disease felt too coincidental and fishy, so Leon had to tread carefully.
He couldn’t be one hundred percent sure that the antidote Big Sister gave him was legit, but he didn’t want to gamble on it either. So, he decided to drink the Mint Cool Tea he initially planned to save for later levels to shake off the negative effects of the current infection.
If later on he figured out Big Sister was genuinely a good person, then the remaining antidote would be safe to use.
Overall, Leon’s move was pretty cautious.
Of course, he had to thank Roswiser for this idea.
She was the one who had given him the Mint Cool Tea, or else he’d still be agonizing over whether to take the antidote.
After coming out of the bathroom and taking a small break, Leon went out again.
He headed to the communal kitchen and retrieved the Black Holy Stone he had hidden under the water tank. Then he went to the lobby on the first floor, looked around to confirm no one was around, and hid the Black Holy Stone inside a suit of guard armor at the door of the conference room.
During the meeting he had in the morning, he noticed that the lobby served no purpose other than as a conference room; there were no quest triggers or fate-related scenes, so apart from meeting times, no one usually came here.
Hiding it in the guard armor was a relatively safe choice.
After stashing the Black Holy Stone, Leon returned upstairs.
By coincidence, he ran into two daughters from the Friend Group.
Moon and Little Light were holding hands, walking down the hallway when they spotted Leon.
“Dad~”
Moon sweetly called out, then pulled Little Light and hurried over.
Leon crouched down and smiled, “What’s up? Out on a quest?”
“Yup! But it’s a three-person quest, and we want Dad to join us!”
Leon was more than happy to join his daughters on a quest, but he casually asked,
“Why not go look for your sister?”
At this, Little Moon’s face instantly turned cold.
Leon was taken aback, confused about why his precious daughter suddenly looked unhappy.
He glanced over at Little Light.
Thankfully, Little Pink Hair had it all figured out.
She leaned closer to Leon, lowering her voice,
“After the True Love Lock effect ended, Second Sister was forced to part ways with Big Sister. Then Big Sister did a bunch of duo quests with Helena, and Second Sister… well, you see how she is.”
“Hmph! No big deal! Little Light and I can do quests together and definitely be faster than Helena!”
Leon scratched his head.
Ah, sister complex, what a hassle… Old Dad mentally sighed.
In truth, Leon felt a bit guilty about Moon’s dependency on Noia.
If he had accompanied his daughters since they were born, maybe Moon would be a bit more independent now.
But hey, he wasn’t going to force his darling daughter to change or anything.
Whether you’re a sister lover or a little sister lover, as long as the family can always stick together, that’s what matters most.
Leon ruffled Moon’s head, saying,
“Well, let’s see if we can find another True Love item card. Then you can play with Big Sister again.”
Moon’s big eyes sparkled with excitement, “Really, Dad? Are there more True Love Locks in the castle?”
Leon nodded, “Yup. There are many duplicate item cards. Your mom and I were hit with a True Love effect during the day, and you found a card to use with your sister, remember?”
Moon blinked and tilted her head, curiously asking, “Dad, how did you know I used the True Love Lock with my sister?”
Come on, the whole world knows that! Your little face can’t hide any lies!
“Alright, Second Sister, how I know isn’t important. What matters is that since there are more True Love cards in the castle, that means you have a chance to reconnect with Big Sister!”
“Awesome! This time I want to find three… no, five—no! Ten! I want ten True Love Locks so Big Sister can stick with me the whole time~”
Leon was sweating and smiling wryly. His second daughter was only fixated on two things.
One was regularly munching on old dad’s offerings;
The other was sticking with her sister.
Leon stood up, taking the girls’ hands, and led them off to tackle that three-person quest first.
The quest wasn’t tough, and with Old Dad’s help, they completed it smoothly.
After finishing, they received an intel card:
“That thing is a curse! It must be destroyed… it must be destroyed!”
Leon looked at the words on the intel card, furrowing his brow slightly,
“Sounds like something someone said.”
Little Light stroked her chin, her little brain spinning, “If we apply this to the game, that quote likely represents a main quest for a certain player, and their task is to destroy ‘that thing’.”
Moon looked left at Dad and right at Little Light, unusually starting to think,
“So this so-called ‘thing’ is probably the Black Holy Stone?”
“Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too.”
Leon said softly, “But who would be the one that made this statement?”
Previously, when Leon was bound to Roswiser, he found an intel card stating there were at least two lone wolf players in this game.
Leon was one of those lone wolves, meaning this quote likely came from the other lone wolf.
His main task was to hide the Black Holy Stone until the game ended. If the other lone wolf’s goal was indeed to destroy the Black Holy Stone, then the situation became crystal clear—
Two lone wolves meant there was bound to be a showdown.
As the father and daughters pondered, Little Light’s Shadow Stone suddenly emitted a voice:
“Friend B, you have been ‘killed’; Friend B, you have been ‘killed.’”
Killed?!
The sudden notification left the father and daughters dumbfounded.
“What’s happening? Little Light, how did you get stabbed out of nowhere?”
Little Pink Hair was now completely confused, “I… I don’t know, Dad.”
With that, Little Light instinctively checked herself for any strange items.
But found nothing at all.
She turned back to the room where they had just completed the three-person quest, still looking normal.
How did she just… get stabbed for no reason?!
A wave of fear spread between the three of them.
Even Leon was somewhat spooked by this bizarre attack mode.

Silently approaching, taking lives in the blink of an eye;

Strategically planning from a thousand miles away!
Little Light’s fingers were tangled in her hair, her sapphire-like pupils filled with reluctance.

“Yeah, Little Light, I won’t look for the bonding card anymore; I’ll help find you a revival card! Don’t be sad,” Moon said earnestly.
But Little Light shook her head,
“No, no, no, Dad, Second Sister, I’m not sad. I just feel it’s such a pity to think I won’t get to see you two fighting anymore!”
Leon & Moon: ……
Little Light mourned dramatically, “Why did it have to be me? I just wanted to see everyone scheming against each other! What did I do wrong, wah~”
Before long, a staff member rushed in,
“Friend B Miss Aurora, please come with me to the God Observation Room; there, you can watch the entire game from God’s perspective.”

Little Light’s eyes lit up.
Watching the fun from a God perspective is way more interesting than first-person perspective!

So, the previously gloomy little pink-haired girl happily followed the staff member to the God Observation Room.
Leaving Old Dad and Second Sister feeling lost in the wind.
“Oh my God, Dad! We’re here quaking in terror from that long-range kn*fe person while Little Light is happily going to watch a show!” Little Moon covered her face in disbelief.
Leon silently facepalmed, “In any case… let’s hold a temporary meeting, so that long-range killer doesn’t come after us next.”
“Okay.”
The temporary meeting, can be called early upon discovering a body.
Ten minutes later, in the first-floor lobby’s conference room, all players gathered except for Little Light.
Roswiser naturally noticed her little daughter’s absence first,
“Where’s Little Light?”
“Stabbed.”
Leon replied, “This temporary meeting was called by me and Moon because Little Light suddenly… got stabbed right next to us without any warning.”
Little Light was the first player to be killed within the twenty hours since the game began, which naturally drew everyone’s attention.
“Stabbed without warning?” Noia asked.
“Yeah. At the time, we had just completed a quest, chatted for a bit, and Little Light… just got stabbed.”
Even though it had been a while, recalling that ‘long-distance kn*fe person’ moment still made them anxious.
“Did Little Light interact with anyone before she was stabbed?”
Moon shook her head, “Not really. Little Light and I were together the whole time. We planned to do a quest at night, but it needed three people, so we went to find Dad to join us.”
“Leon joined you? …”
The one who spoke was Claudia.
The beautiful woman with blue eyes turned her gaze toward Leon, “Is there a chance that Leon secretly stabbed Little Light?”
“Because I’ve collected an intel card stating there are at least two lone wolves in this game. A lone wolf’s task is probably different from everyone else’s, right?”
“And Moon and Little Light’s friend group is a good person camp, so taking out a member of the good side would benefit the lone wolf.”
In response to the ‘malicious queen’s’ suspicion, Leon calmly countered,
“Predecessor, your logic has a flaw.”
“Stabbing a good person could indeed benefit the lone wolf, but you can’t just assume I’m that lone wolf.”
“And even making deductions based on that assumption lacks credibility.”
“Or do you have any particularly direct evidence to prove that I’m the lone wolf?”
Claudia slightly nodded, “I can’t definitively say that you are the lone wolf. But Little Light definitely got stabbed right after completing a quest with you.”
“I agree with Claudia’s perspective.”
The one who spoke this time was Isar,
“The brother-in-law’s suspicion is substantial. This meeting might very well be his self-sabotage to create the illusion that wolves can k*ll from a distance. This way, if he stabs someone later, everyone will still think of ‘long-distance kn*fe people’ and won’t suspect him right away.”
“But if Dad did stab Little Light, why wouldn’t he just stab me too?” Moon asked.
The ever-silent Helena finally spoke up, “The game rules state that only players with ‘k*ll-type item cards’ can stab people, so perhaps Uncle Leon only has one k*ll card?”
“That’s also incorrect. If I only had one k*ll card, I definitely wouldn’t use it up right away.”
Leon stated, “Because then I’d lose my self-defense ability. If a wolf were to stab me, and I just happened to still have a k*ll card, I might be able to fight back.”
“On the other hand, if I were a wolf, I would wait until I had more k*ll cards before starting to stab people. Otherwise, stabbing one by one would just give the good camp enough time to react.”
Roswiser looked at Leon, “For now, let’s not assume you’re a wolf. We want to hear your thoughts.”
Oh~ It still has to come down to my wife to give Leon a breathing chance.
Leon gathered his thoughts and began to speak,
“First off, I believe the wolf has the ability to attack from a distance.”
“But correspondingly, they can only stab one person at a time for a period, or simultaneously.

But proving his innocence was extraordinarily challenging.
Leon pondered for a while but couldn’t think of any way to prove he didn’t stab Little Light.
In a flash, he seemed to fall into a deadlock.
“I have a Detective item card that can check if a player has stabbed anyone in the past six hours.”
The speaker was Roswiser.
Leon’s eyes brightened as if he had grasped a glimmer of hope.
In a crisis, it really helps to count on his wife!
“The game rules don’t allow the use of any item cards during the meeting, but we can check Leon after this meeting ends.”
Roswiser said, “If he hasn’t stabbed anyone, it proves his innocence; if he did, we’ll keep an eye on him and vote him out in the next meeting. How does everyone feel about that?”
Though Roswiser checking Leon was a standard game logic, the fact she stepped up to assist him right at this critical moment warmed Leon’s heart.
After all, Roswiser had just told him she would vote for him no matter what.
This meeting provided an excellent opportunity to boot Leon out, yet she still chose to use the Detective card for him.
