044. The Quick Action Against Adult Entertainment
After catching up on some sleep, Ning Chu woke up in the dormitory, only to discover it was already noon.
He had ordered takeout and, while yawning with tears in the corners of his eyes and a look of utter drowsiness, he trudged to the bathroom.
After splashing cold water on his face, his foggy brain finally began to clear up a bit. He glanced into the mirror and let out a sigh of despair.
Ever since he decided to go to the bar with Zhang Shaoqing yesterday afternoon, a chill had settled in his belly. By nighttime, surrounded by the bar’s ambiance, he realized that his appearance had spiraled into another feminine makeover.
This time, it was his face…
His originally delicate boyish face had become even more refined; the already subtle blemishes on his skin had vanished, and it was so smooth it looked like you could squeeze out water from it.
Long, lush lashes, slightly upturned corners of the eyes, and a blush that faded into the outer eye area—all these features made his overall aura distinctly more feminine and inexplicably alluring.
“Clearly a bad woman…”
The transformation wasn’t drastic, but it had shifted his juvenile boyish face towards that of a mesmerizing vixen.
Ning Chu lowered his head helplessly, unwilling to scrutinize his reflection any longer lest he develop high bl**d pressure from staring too long.
Despite his best efforts, his looks continued to sprint headlong into femininity.
After a gaming session back in the dorm, his lunch finally arrived.
He found a gameplay livestream to accompany his meal but had just dug into a couple of bites when his phone suddenly vibrated.
He glanced at the incoming call display and hung up without hesitation.
A split second later, the phone rang again.
“Ning Chu! You hung up on me, d*mn it!”
As soon as he answered, Zhang Shaoqing’s booming voice blasted through the receiver.
“I had a foot massage appointment all set last night! You just ditched me, huh?!”
“If you’re leaving, at least give me a shout!”
“Just wait! I know it’s you leading the charge!”
In the phone call, Zhang Shaoqing’s “sweet nothings” bombarded him non-stop, but after listening silently for a moment, Ning Chu casually set the phone down on the table.
Thank goodness he made a run for it; what good could come from a foot massage appointment in Little Emperor Wen’s book? Maintaining Wen Yang’s virginity for so long, what if it all ended at the parlor?!
Even if he was still a virgin, after experiencing Zhang Shaoqing’s drunken escapades, did the male protagonist even want to stick around anymore?
“What’s he saying?” Wen Yang asked, turning to him while munching on lunch.
“Not sure, I wasn’t listening.”
“Why not listen?”
Figuring Zhang Shaoqing’s anger had toned down, Ning Chu picked up the phone and chirped enthusiastically, “Hello? Sorry, I shouldn’t have left you hanging~”
“Don’t act adorable with me! How disgusting! Where were you just now?!”
I wasn’t acting adorable at all!
“Just used the bathroom.”
Zhang Shaoqing complained helplessly, “I just want a decent foot massage! That’s all! After two weeks of military training, what’s wrong with wanting some relaxation? It’s all burly guys who put in some effort!”
Goodness gracious! Caught red-handed.
But honestly, burly dudes seemed a bit dangerous for me…
Ning Chu sat silently, unsure of what to say.
“If I mess around out here, my mom would k*ll me!” Zhang Shaoqing sighed, “Alright, I’m heading home. I’ll come back to the dorm tomorrow night.”
“Make sure to come back early~”
As the villain, Ning Chu didn’t want him out of sight for too long; he sincerely hoped Zhang Shaoqing would return to the dormitory soon.
“Get lost!”
He bit his lip, set the phone down, crossed his legs, and resumed eating while watching TV.
The villain in this scenario was primarily concerned about mental health, and this week didn’t seem like a big issue, just this guy enjoying some thrill-seeking.
Wait! Could my actions unintentionally lead to Zhang Shaoqing’s meltdown and subsequent villain turn?
That can’t be!
He would wait for Zhang Shaoqing to return and humbly apologize…
“Hmm…” Ning Chu suddenly turned to Wen Yang and asked, “Has that club activity started for you? Didn’t they call you?”
“They did, but I was asleep and missed it.”
Ning Chu hopped up and jogged over, peering at the chat records on Wen Yang’s computer screen. From 9 AM onward, people had been urging Wen Yang to get downstairs and join the transportation to the activity.
After half an hour, someone even sent a location message, telling Wen Yang to head over once he woke up.
“Send me the location info.”
“What do you want that for?”
“To report! Sweep away the sc*m!” he gritted his teeth.
In truth, the multiplayer meeting had already been compromised; it could no longer happen to the male protagonist or the villain, or else his face wouldn’t have morphed into this vixen visage.
But those multiparty sports could still take place in the villa, and as the author, Ning Chu felt it was his duty to clean up the social airwaves!
Why should he be stuck as the destined female supporting character doomed to be violated in the book? His “manhood” hadn’t been touched in two weeks! Meanwhile, others were frolicking freely!
“Everyone can just d*e!”
“???”
Wen Yang stared blankly for a moment, bewildered, “Sweep away? Even if we think that gathering has some dubious nature, we still don’t have any evidence, right?”
“Report first and discuss later!” Ning Chu rolled his eyes at Wen Yang. “After knowing that this gathering isn’t appropriate, Zhang Shaoqing still wanted to go even more. What’s wrong with his head?”
“Yeah, isn’t that the case?”
Wen Yang didn’t dare admit he was slightly tempted too.
But he was still a little virgin, and in the script, he had no part in some wild gathering—either he missed out, or his XP couldn’t handle chaotic team battles with too many participants.
At most he’d play a five-man lineup but still wanted to CARRY.
“Others can do whatever, but my roommate messes around outside—so disgusting!”
“That won’t happen; our dorm doesn’t have anyone like that.”
Wen Yang’s expression froze, slightly shaky as he spoke those words.
With so many girls in class chasing him down, if he hadn’t been held back, he figured he’d be the “disgusting” type Ning Chu described by now.
“Hey? I’m reporting!”
Ning Chu walked to his desk and had already dialed the reporting hotline.
He had searched for this number online as soon as he learned about the gathering, initially worried that Wen Yang or Zhang Shaoqing might get carried away, keeping it as a trump card.
But now, he decided to get to the root of the problem and wipe out that scandalous club entirely!
So there wouldn’t be another chance for them to host such an event, dragging Wen Yang and Zhang Shaoqing in once again.
A few minutes later, Ning Chu hung up the report call and sat at his computer to finish his meal.
Although he wasn’t sure if the anti-vice crackdown in Little Emperor Wen was just a formality, he had done all that needed doing; now, everything related to the plot was free of threats…
Ning Chu then glanced down at the little black cat who was playfully biting at his slippers.
“Wen Yang! How old does a female cat need to be for spaying?”
“Maybe six months or so?”
“Hmm…”
He needed to save up a thousand bucks within six months to get Black Bean spayed; after that, even if she transformed into a catgirl, there would be no heat cycles, and no bizarre gratitude plots!
Even though Black Bean’s owner was him, he genuinely hoped the little cat would owe him one.
“You’re planning to get Black Bean spayed?”
“What else? Wait for her to make me a whole litter? Who’s taking responsibility for that?”
For some reason, Wen Yang felt the room had gotten a little chillier, as Ning Chu’s words carried a distinct icy whistle.
He scratched his head, utterly perplexed about what this cat had to do with him.
