233. Get Lost!
“Stop staring at me… I can’t write a single word like this.”
Ning Chu lifted her head, glaring at Wen Yang leaning against the table. “You can go play games or do your group project, or why not just head back to the dorm?”
“I came all this way, can’t I at least have a meal before I leave? I spent half an hour just getting here.”
“Tch~ If I don’t become a great writer, it’s definitely your fault.”
She muttered, watching Wen Yang head toward the sofa, feeling relieved.
For some reason, putting her novel online for thousands to see didn’t bother her at all, but if a friend from real life caught a glimpse, the embarrassment was unbearable.
And this was supposed to be a memoir…
If Wen Yang saw it, it would be like him stripping her bare, seeing everything inside and out.
Ning Chu glanced back, confirming Wen Yang was settled on the sofa, then resumed her typing with a sigh of relief.
“What do you want to eat tonight? I’ll run downstairs to get it for you.”
“Shaxian, it’s right downstairs and super cheap.” Her food standards weren’t very high. “Get some fried noodles and a beef stew.”
“Got it.”
“I’ll transfer you the money…”
She worried Wen Yang would run out of cash and then be too proud to admit it, so every time he bought something for her, she made sure to send him the money.
Wen Yang didn’t object much, replying casually before asking, “Anything else you want? I just want to make one trip.”
“Umm, a cold Coke, please.”
“Sure.”
He diligently tidied up the trash in the rental apartment before heading out, bag in hand.
Once the door clicked shut, Ning Chu placed her hands on her laptop’s keyboard, slowly typing two lines, then paused to navigate to a popular video site, scrolling through trending videos one by one.
When writing her light novel, ideas flowed like a fountain, but with this serious piece, she couldn’t focus, writing two lines before wanting to do something else.
“I can’t keep this up; it’s been two days, and I’ve only written two lines.”
She mumbled, propping her chin on one hand, distracted by a video on the screen.
Moments later, her gaze wandered to her chest.
Ever since her silver patterns fully developed, her chest felt painfully full, like something was about to burst out.
She thought it might be growth, but after a week, her underwear didn’t feel any tighter.
It couldn’t be…
She was definitely not pregnant! How absurd!
Ning Chu smirked, shaking her head to dismiss that bizarre thought.
Maybe it was because she hadn’t disrupted the plot lately…
The proactive female supporting characters in school had mostly been dealt with, so the likelihood of running into plot points naturally decreased.
But there were still a few pesky ones.
Especially that sly ghost, An An, who knew how many men she had “consumed” in private.
Ning Chu suspected her ability to thrive in school was mainly due to her work ethic. Whether day or night, she was always working—what a perfect object for exploitation!
Those evil capitalist school leaders! Not even letting the dead rest!
Without Wen Yang or anyone else to intervene, she could only ignore it for now.
After all, Wen Yang wouldn’t fall for a female ghost’s seduction.
And that vampire—given Wen Yang’s personality, if he ever came across a fainted girl, he wouldn’t just pass by.
“This isn’t so bad; I don’t have to worry about falling in love~”
“Just my tail is still underdeveloped.”
Compared to Lily’s lovely little tail adorned with hearts, her own was something of a disgrace.
The door knocked, and Ning Chu hurriedly got up to open it.
Wen Yang walked in with the packed Shaxian snacks, placing the takeout box on the coffee table and glancing at the two lines of text on her computer.
“When I went to buy food, I didn’t see you write much.”
“Great books are crafted over time.”
Ning Chu retorted without missing a beat.
“Come eat.”
She settled on the sofa, feeling a bit cramped.
As she picked up the takeout box, she suddenly remembered her health check and set it down to pull out two health check forms from her pocket.
“Here, this should be fine, right?”
“Hmm, you got all the necessary checks done, right?”
“Yep, all done.”
Wen Yang scanned the two forms, groaning, “Underdeveloped…”
As if it were just her tail! Her chest and rear weren’t exactly full either—definitely underdeveloped for a succubus!
“After dinner, you should head back. I’ve got a busy night.”
Ning Chu turned on the TV, connecting her phone to stream a gaming live broadcast while eating.
“Why are you trying to rush me out? Don’t you want to show me your novel?”
“I haven’t even written much.”
Wen Yang glanced at Ning Chu, his gaze resting on her slightly thin cherry lips, and a mischievous thought popped into his mind.
“How about a farewell kiss before you go?”
“……”
Ning Chu’s face quickly flushed red.
It wasn’t like this was the first time—why was she so shy?
Internally, she chided herself, finally nodding as a reluctant agreement to Wen Yang’s request.
It had been several days since they’d kissed; surprisingly, she felt a tinge of anticipation…
Wen Yang finished eating first and dashed to the bathroom to brush his teeth and rinse.
He was always considerate of Ning Chu’s experience, fearing any lingering odors would spoil her mood.
In less than two minutes, he returned to the room, eyes fixed intently on Ning Chu.
“……”
“Are you done eating?”
“Yeah, I’ll go brush my teeth too?”
Ning Chu looked down, trying to get up, but Wen Yang was already standing in front of the sofa, blocking her path.
She tilted her head back only to see Wen Yang’s face rapidly enlarging in her view, causing her to duck her head in a panic.
As their lips met, Ning Chu found herself pushed onto the sofa, her legs instinctively kicking out in protest, but soon, she was overcome by the passionate kiss.
All her strength drained away, she felt the weight of Wen Yang on her, their chests pressed tightly together, even through layers of clothing, she could feel his warmth.
“Umm!”
She was starting to struggle to breathe, her breaths quickening, cheeks flushed with a deep hue, eyes glistening as if tears were about to spill.
Wait!
What is that hand doing?! Don’t touch there!
Ning Chu shivered, unable to suppress a soft m*an.
She wanted to resist, but her body was pinned down, leaving her no space to fight back, forced to endure an overwhelming sensation she’d never experienced.
“No…”
Her mind was a haze; she had no idea how long it lasted before Wen Yang finally pulled away.
Wen Yang took a deep breath, gazing at the pile of gooey Ning Chu sprawled on the sofa.
Her face was flushed, lips slightly swollen and breathing heavily, eyes shimmering with dazed wateriness, looking completely out of it.
Her clothes were already a mess, her top lifted beneath her chest, the silver patterns on her lower abdomen faintly visible.
Wen Yang nearly succumbed to temptation again, taking deep breaths to steady his racing emotions.
“Okay, I’ll take my leave now?”
“Ah?”
Ning Chu suddenly came back to her senses, staring at Wen Yang with a pout, resembling a needy little wife.
Struggling to sit up, she fidgeted to pull down her top to cover her stomach, muttering, “Get lost already.”
“Why don’t I just stay over tonight?”
“No way!”
Well, at least they managed to explore a new territory—not a total loss.
Though rejected, Wen Yang’s face was still painted with a grin.
His hands seemed to still carry a hint of that milky scent~ Looks like he wouldn’t wash his hands tonight.
