“Let’s go out together!”
“Hmm?”
“I’m going to pick up Lily and Xinya.”
“I can pick them up.”
“Well, I’m just feeling too lazy to change clothes~”
Wen Yang saw her lazily flopping onto the sofa and reached out to ruffle her little head. “You’re really lazy. What will you do when I’m not around?”
“Isn’t it great that you’re here~”
Ning Chu squinted her eyes in enjoyment, playfully nudging Wen Yang’s hand with her head.
While spending time with Wen Yang, she preferred to hide that independent side she used to have as a man. She relished in being cared for and pampered.
She could increasingly feel her heart being softened, corroded in the direction of a flower vase. But at the same time, she felt that the emptiness inside her, caused by her mother’s early passing, was slowly being filled, making her heart feel more complete.
This feeling was quite a tangled mess…
“I’m heading out now.”
“Okay~”
The rental apartment building wasn’t far from the bus stop on the main road. Wen Yang went downstairs and walked along the largest road in the village. In under five minutes, he spotted two girls standing at the village entrance.
As he approached, he suddenly felt that Lily and Yan Xinya were looking at him oddly.
He instinctively touched the corner of his mouth, thinking he might have some breakfast stuck there.
Looking down, he noticed that while he had been energized by the succubus scent back in the rental apartment, the cold wind outside had sapped his vibrancy.
When he reached the wolf girl and the succubus, he felt their scrutinizing gazes all over him, and he stiffened up. “What’s up?”
“Nothing, nothing,” Yan Xinya and Lily exchanged glances and stifled giggles.
“Uh?”
“Really, nothing’s wrong. Where’s your rental apartment?”
“Haven’t we been there once before?”
“I forgot!”
“I’ll take you there.”
Wen Yang scratched his head, confused about why they were laughing.
He led them back, and when they arrived at the bottom of the rental apartment, he pointed at the three-story building. “It’s on the third floor, the room all the way to the left on the stairs.”
Just as he was explaining, a small head peeked out from the third-floor window—Ning Chu was waving her hand energetically at the group below.
“Alright, we’ll go up ourselves~”
“I’ll help you open the door.”
The first floor of the rental apartment had a security door, and Wen Yang swiped his card to open it. He watched the two girls ascend the stairs before wandering off, scratching his head in bewilderment.
“What were they laughing about?”
“Did Ning Chu spill the beans about last night? That shouldn’t be it, right?”

The door swung open, and Yan Xinya dashed inside, scanning Ning Chu from top to bottom, especially noting her tightly pressed legs before saying, “Good morning~”
“Morning.”
Lily followed her into the room, sniffing the air and faintly catching a whiff of something sweet, turning her head towards the trash can.
Seeing their reactions, Ning Chu felt her face heat up.
It was clear that these two were inspecting the ‘battlefield’ from last night.
She gave them both an annoyed glare and turned to shut down the document on her computer.
“So where are we going today?” Yan Xinya asked, pulling a chair next to Ning Chu and curiously eyeing the room. “I expected your room to be more like Lily’s.”
“More like hers?”
“With all sorts of little toys!”
“No way… I’m not interested in that kind of stuff.”
Ning Chu mumbled under her breath, and then Lily opened her bedside drawer and pulled out the large, menacing Lawbreaker Wand, looking at her with an innocent expression.
Isn’t this your stuff?!
“Lily, take all these today!” Ning Chu’s face turned crimson. She turned to Yan Xinya and explained, “These are all things Lily gave me!”
“I know~”
“Yours.” Lily shyly put the Lawbreaker Wand back, looking a bit bashful. “That’s amazing.”
“……”
Ning Chu finally understood. This little succubus was intentionally teasing her!
But she was really falling for this nonsense, her ears burning red, too shy to look up. “I haven’t used it…”
“What about this one?”
Yan Xinya leaned in and picked up a big pill, smiling like a total tease.
“Alright, enough already!”
“How can you be a succubus and still be this shy~” the wolf girl giggled, throwing her arm around Ning Chu’s neck. “So cute~”

She angrily pushed Yan Xinya’s hand away and pouted, “Are we going shopping today? Or are we doing something else?”
“Amusement park! Isn’t there one pretty close to us?!”
Ning Chu had been to the amusement park that Yan Xinya mentioned with her roommates, and many of the small decorations on her desk were from some ring toss wins there.
But seeing Lily’s trinkets, she suddenly thought her decoration choices seemed a bit too low-key.
They didn’t match the succubus’s vibe.
“I don’t want to go.” Lily was quieter and didn’t enjoy the atmosphere of amusement parks. “How about a movie instead?”
“Whatever works for me; you two just have to sort it out!”
Ning Chu turned and opened her PPT on the computer for a final review while also sending the speaking notes to Zhang Shaoqing, casually asking, “Did you finish your group project for the dorm?”
“What’s that?”
“We did,” Lily said, her expression turning sour.
In her dorm, Yan Xinya was all over the place and didn’t help much, Lin Li was off gallivanting every day, and Catgirl Ling Ling didn’t even live in the dorm—she was the only one doing all the work in that four-person group.
Yet, she still had to put down her roommates’ names on the project.
“Let me see? I want to compare.”
If they messed it up too badly, she could fix it quickly tonight to avoid embarrassing herself during the presentation.
But since it would be Zhang Shaoqing showcasing it, the embarrassment didn’t seem like such a big deal…
Just as she was thinking, Ning Chu’s expression suddenly changed.
She distinctly felt a hot, itchy sensation rising from her lower abdomen, the fire quickly enveloping her entire body.

Wen Yang had only been gone for half an hour! How did the plot trigger, and she even completed a sabotage?!
Ning Chu froze for a moment, her face turning a bright shade of red. She instinctively squeezed her thighs together, her waist unable to resist a light squirm.
