### Chapter 27: It Has Begun
The next morning.
Night Star Lan woke up, ready to embrace the new day with uncontainable energy.
After a quick wash-up, the daily routine for both of them kicked off.
Night Star was headed to the Rising Sun Theater to greet the members of the theater group inside.
Meanwhile, Night Lan was off to the Night Watcher Base to enjoy a peaceful daily life with friends there.
Not too shabby.
As Night Lan stepped out, she spotted Mo Tu, who was enjoying a lovely breeze outside. She couldn’t help but ask, “Need a ride to the Night Watcher Base? I recently got this super cool car!”
Mo Tu took one look at Night Lan’s bragging face and promptly declined.
“Not at all necessary, and I’m actually taking a leave. I won’t be going to the base for a while.”
“Shocking! You’re actually taking a leave? You’re slacking off more than I do!”
“I’m just really worn out, didn’t you notice?”
“Well, you probably overdid it.”
“……”
Seeing the calm yet scrutinizing look on Mo Tu’s face, Night Lan cheekily stuck out her tongue and decided to drop it.
“Then get some good rest! And remember to swing by the theater when you have free time~”
With that, Night Lan swiftly departed, ready to summon her Starry Flying Car parked nearby using her phone.
Mo Tu watched her leave, shaking his head in exasperation.
This little Loli is getting more mischievous by the day.
The problem is, Mo Tu didn’t have the guts to rein her in.
No matter how strong his scheming abilities were, they probably couldn’t compete with a whimsical wish.
Extraordinary Star truly is a cheat.

After tidying up yesterday’s mess of clothes, Night Star also prepared to enter the Rising Sun Theater.
Eypar decided to stay home.
After all, that ghost would only end up arguing with Guqiu if she went to the theater, having no other purpose whatsoever. Better to leave her at home to guard the place.
If a burglar came in, Eypar could at least scare him off.
Wait, there was also Puppet Little Lian keeping Eypar company.
But if a burglar did enter, Little Lian might not be as scary as Eypar. It could end up being a disaster.
After thinking it over, Night Star decided to take Little Lian along to the theater.
Change of scene.
Night Star appeared inside the theater in a flash.
Lianhua was the first to notice Night Star’s arrival.
After all, she was standing just a short distance from the theater entrance, seeming to wait for quite a while.
“Audience Performer, good morning!”
“Morning to you too, Puppet Master! Were you waiting for me?”
“Yes, but not for too long.”
As she said this, Lianhua’s gaze fell on the familiar puppet in Night Star’s hands—Little Lian.
This puppet used to be her favorite thing, but now it had been left at Night Star’s house for safekeeping.
Night Star also caught Lianhua staring at Little Lian.
“Um… Little Lian has self-awareness. I figured keeping it in an empty house would be a bit lonely, so it’s better to let it stay at the theater.”
“Is that really how you feel, Night Star? How thoughtful.”
“Well… I spend most of my time at the theater or the Night Watcher Base, plus my only company at home is a ghost who’s likely out partying all day. Keeping Little Lian stuck in a room all day just seemed too lonely. The theater is a better fit.”
“In that case… I won’t be able to see how you and Night Lan sleep at night… when I could just be here watching you instead…” Lianhua began mumbling softly.
After all, for Lianhua and Little Lian, the two were a single entity.
Lianhua could see Night Star and Night Lan sleeping peacefully through Little Lian’s eyes while Little Lian could see Night Star through Lianhua’s perspective.
If Little Lian stayed at the theater, they would miss out on those precious sleepy cuddle moments.
“Huh? What did you just say, Lianhua?” Night Star didn’t catch that.
“Um, I said Little Lian would definitely prefer staying in the Audience Performer’s room.”
Upon hearing this, Little Lian’s eyes twinkled red, and power surged into Lianhua’s body.
In an instant, Lianhua’s aura transformed.
Now she was in her complete form.
The dominant consciousness was the Star Eclipse consciousness.
Night Star looked at this scene in confusion, completely clueless about what was happening.
Little Lian suddenly leaped up and embraced Night Star, gazing up at her with unabashed desire.
“Take me back tonight.”
“Uh, okay.”
It seemed Little Lian’s consciousness was quite insistent; for reasons unknown, she preferred to stay in an empty room. How peculiar!
Usually, she only returned at night.
“But since you’re here now, Little Lian can hang out at the theater. I’ll take you back tonight.”
“Okay.”
Little Lian nodded gently, and the Star Eclipse consciousness quickly retreated back into the puppet.
Lianhua’s consciousness returned, and she smiled softly.
“See? Audience Performer, Little Lian isn’t scared of loneliness!”
“Uh-huh, the thoughts of Star Eclipse are truly hard to grasp.”
Night Star scratched her head and decided to go along with Little Lian’s wishes.
Just then, the other members started popping up.
The Makeup Artist strolled out from backstage, clearly having been hiding in a painting.
While Book Yao and Kong Yu Bai walked out from the theater’s rooms, seemingly just waking up.
Night Star and Lianhua approached, joining up with Kong Yu Bai and the others.
“How did you all sleep?”
“Pretty well,” Kong Yu Bai replied, ruffling Night Star’s hair.
After all, she was just playing a laid-back role; unlike Mo Rabbit, she didn’t exhaust herself to the point of mental fatigue.
By the end of a stage performance, her state was pretty much the same as usual—no difference whatsoever.
Kong Yu Bai and the others’ appearance was expected by Night Star, but she didn’t anticipate the Group Leader, Gentleman, and Fraudster stepping out from the shadows.
“Group Leader?”
Night Star was instantly filled with question marks.
Normally, those three wouldn’t show up at this hour, even if Night Star arrived at the theater—unless she called them out herself.
Yet, today, they had taken the initiative to appear.
Could it be that they had something to say?
Just then, another ripple went through the theater, heralding the arrival of the Announcer.
Mo Rabbit inexplicably found herself in the theater, deep in thought.
“My intuition is telling me I should come to the theater now.”

Then the Group Leader spoke up.
“The location is about to change.”
Upon hearing this, Night Star’s expression first froze, then her eyes lit up, excitement flooding her crimson pupils.
“What?! It’s about to change already?”
She had thought they would have to wait a few more days.
But it seemed that wasn’t the case; this time frame seemed to be random.
The Group Leader hadn’t specified when the change would occur.
In any case, Night Star was already itching to go to the new city.
“When does it start? When does it start?”
Night Star excitedly ran over to the Group Leader, looking like a kid itching for candy.
“It’s already begun.”
