Ning Chu stretched lazily and opened the door to her home.
Tiptoeing over her older brother’s sprawled body, she carefully made her way toward the bedroom, planning to act as if she had just awakened, as usual.
But then, a noise came from the master bedroom, and her mother emerged.
Surprisingly, her mother didn’t comment on Ning Chu’s late-night escapades; the two exchanged a brief, subtle glance before quickly looking away.
Super awkward…
Unlike her worldly mom, Ning Chu had thin skin, and her cheeks were flushed in an instant.
“I’m going to make breakfast, don’t fall asleep.”
“Mm.”
She flopped onto the bed, feeling utterly defeated.
She suspected her mother might have heard her last night…
The certified succubus-level hotel was indeed nice—clean, cheap, hygienic, complete with chairs that unlocked new positions. Sadly, that place had this tendency to spawn her mother unexpectedly at night.
But even the best soundproofing could not withstand Wen Yang’s forceful advances. That was when Ning Chu realized that back when she was in the rental apartment, Wen Yang had been really considerate, going easy on her out of concern for the neighbors.
In the hotel, however, Wen Yang wasn’t so kind, and with those peculiar chairs, it was simply unreal~
She almost felt like she was drowning in sheer ecstasy.
It felt as if her insides were being thoroughly pushed around…
Ning Chu rubbed her belly, lying back on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.
What was going on~
She clearly wanted to resist at first, trying to avoid getting sucked into this sticky situation.
But every night, she couldn’t help herself; every morning when she returned home, the regret would wash over her, dragging her down again, and now, she’d completely morphed into Wen Yang’s plaything…
Since resistance was futile, she might as well enjoy it. Just let it be~
A little head suddenly plopped onto her belly; it was Black Bean, lying sideways on top of her, his little nose twitching: “Sis~ You didn’t come home again last night.”
“When is Mom coming back?”
“I don’t know! I fell asleep watching TV~” Black Bean’s eyes brightened, “I can smell brother-in-law’s scent again! You were with him last night!”
I definitely took a shower! Twice!
A blush erupted on Ning Chu’s cheeks, and she shot Black Bean an annoyed glance.
“Just a hint of it, but it’s pretty nice~”
Ning Chu tensed up instinctively but quickly realized that the sweet scent was something only a succubus could detect; for everyone else, it probably just smelled faintly fishy—not pleasant at all.
“Stop messing around. I need a little rest.”
It was the second day of the New Year, and the plan was to head back to the countryside to pay New Year’s respects at her grandfather’s place.
But her grandparents had visited yesterday, so there was no need to go back.
As her mother called out for breakfast, Black Bean darted out of the bedroom, with Ning Chu trailing behind, glancing at her half-awake brother Ning Yuan in the living room.
Ning Yuan’s routine had been all over the place lately, waking up late and sleeping early, but he could still catch an afternoon nap in Ning Chu’s room.
“Mom, since Grandpa came yesterday, we’re not going to visit today, right?”
Ning Chu sat at the dining table, taking a sip of warm milk, looking hopefully at her mother.
“Mm.”
The two shared a silent agreement to conveniently forget everything that had happened at the hotel the previous night.
“Then can I take Ning Xin to the movies today?” Ning Yuan yawned, “Are you two coming?”
“Forget it. There’s nothing I want to see.”
Since she hadn’t seen Uncle’s face at breakfast, he probably left last night.
“Don’t buy popcorn or anything for the movies; it’s high in calories, and it’s not meat. She doesn’t like it,” her mother reminded.
Although Black Bean loved to eat, he was only interested in meat—seafood, beef, lamb, chicken, duck, anything meat-related. He wasn’t a fan of junk food like chips or drinks.
While eating breakfast and scrolling through her phone, Ning Chu realized her class group chat had been buzzing last night after a long silence.
It was her high school group… Her classmates, having returned for the New Year, were planning a reunion with the support of their homeroom teacher.
She instinctively furrowed her brow as she read through the hundreds of messages, her mood sinking swiftly.
After crossing over to this world, she had been eager to see what her former best friends had become, wondering if the girl she had a crush on had grown cat ears… But now, here she was, a girl herself.
Before university, her social life was completely detached from her. The first ten years of her life felt like a strange dream, and at this point, she couldn’t even remember what the man’s face looked like.
If he had seen her now, a succubus immersed in pleasure beneath a man’s body, he would never believe this was her future self, right?
It felt like a betrayal of herself—a kind of s*icide, really; in both body and mind, she had fallen so far, she was hardly the same person anymore.
Ning Chu lowered her gaze, draining the last of her milk before heading straight to the bedroom.
Her mood suddenly felt heavy and stifling, making her shiver all over, and she just wanted to lay around and do nothing.
Black Bean’s ears quivered a bit; he looked back at his sister’s retreating figure.
His big eyes sparkled with confusion as he asked his mother: “Mom, did something suddenly make Sis unhappy?”
“Did Aunt Flo come by?” her mother casually asked.
“Shouldn’t be, right? I didn’t smell bl**d.”
Black Bean worriedly inquired: “Did brother bully her?”
“Not my problem,” Ning Yuan rolled his eyes, “I just woke up. We barely spoke; how could I bully her?”
“Could it be brother-in-law, then?”
“Why not?”
Their mother looked up at the closed bedroom door with a smile and reassured Black Bean: “If your sister’s in a bad mood, it’s time for the cute little cat to make an appearance~”
“Yay!”
Black Bean perked up immediately, tail held high.
“Go cheer up your sister.”
“Okay!”
He sprang off the chair, shoving the last piece of chicken wing into his mouth, cheeks puffed out like a chipmunk, before darting into the bedroom.
“All you think about is eating,” their mother sighed helplessly, “You look around ten, but you act like a five or six-year-old.”
“If we’re being technical, I’m only half a year old.”
“I know… I just hope you’ll be better by September when school starts; otherwise, you’ll get bullied easily.”
She rested her chin on her hand and turned to Ning Yuan, asking: “What’s up with Ning Chu? Did you kick her under the table?”
“I didn’t!”
“Didn’t you used to do that to annoy her?”
“I’m twenty-four now, okay? I’m way past that childish stuff.”
Their mother frowned in confusion as she cleared the remnants on the dining table, muttering, “She seemed so happy last night…”
It was so loud that they could hear it even two rooms away. Wen Yang must have been very generous with Ning Chu; it didn’t seem like unfulfilled desires at all.
“Last night? Weren’t you both out?”
Their mother, not missing a beat, clarified: “I meant last night when we were having dinner.”
