Chapter 452

### Chapter 39 Tea Party

Behind the church.

There was an open space filled with flowers and vibrant colors, creating a relaxed atmosphere that made one feel at ease.

And there was an extremely eye-catching antique fancy tea table.

In front of the table were many chairs, giving off a vibrant vibe.

This place was often used for tea parties among the female members of the Order of Sequence, an activity brought over by members from some countries. It had become a great setting for socializing and swapping gossip, making it quite a nice hangout spot.

It was the perfect timing for a tea party now.

Silvia and White Princess Kanata were sitting in two seats, participating in the tea party.

Others weren’t present yet.

After all, it was Silvia and White Princess Kanata hosting the tea party.

Those invited needed time to get ready and attend.

Though everyone wasn’t here, it didn’t stop Silvia and White Princess Kanata from chatting away.

“White Princess Kanata, I mean, as a guy, why are you so obsessed with joining girls’ tea parties?”

Upon hearing Silvia’s question, White Princess Kanata stirred the milk tea in his cup and smiled slightly.

“Because everyone here is familiar. And tea parties aren’t exclusive to girls, right?’

The main point was that everyone here was familiar.

If they were strangers, he wouldn’t bother attending; he’d just run far, far away.

He appeared outgoing, but only around familiar people.

Here he acted like a real guy.

But if he encountered someone hard to talk to, he’d quickly become introverted, almost like a fragile girl.

White Princess Kanata never wanted anyone to see him in such a sorry state—it was a character flaw.

Silvia squinted.

“How should I put it? Thank goodness you’re pretty. If some greasy old man with a thick skin joined in, others would criticize and teach him a lesson.”

“You all keep treating me as a girl. I don’t really mind; ever since I was a kid, I was raised as a daughter. So, no problem.”

“Looks like you’re trying to get closer to girls and boldly joining the tea party.”

“No way, though you’re all really beautiful, none have reached my heart. After all, I’ve grown tired of looking at myself.”

Hearing Kanata’s gentle tone, Silvia had nothing to say immediately.

Though Kanata’s words rang true.

Even though he’s a guy, he’s prettier than most girls.

Ignore his voice and build, add a bit of femininity in his grooming, and he’s an all-powerful beautiful girl.

Plus, at only 155 cm tall, Kanata is smaller than many female members within the Order of Sequence.

If another male member were to pick their favorite lady, Kanata would get lots of votes.

To be honest, that’s quite a sad situation.

But Kanata didn’t seem to care much about such remarks.

Fine, be called a boy who looks like a girl. His function isn’t for people to gawk at.

Members of the Order of Sequence are no mere vases.

Just then, other invited tea party members started arriving.

Silvia and Kanata glanced over to see who came first besides them.

This lady was very tall, nearly 180 cm, with waist-length hair that looked gray but with white streaks, making her stand out.

Her heterochromatic eyes were gray and black, giving an unsettling suction effect. She wore a sweet smile that masked what she was thinking.

She was Tifureka, a Holy Knight within the Order of Sequence and had impressive combat abilities.

Holy Knights were merely a tier within the fighting ranks of the Order; above them were Golden Knights and Silver Knights below.

While cliché, it fit their setup.

By the way, Silvia was a Golden Knight while Kanata, being a support role, lacked this rank.

Tifureka greeted both upon arrival.

“Hello, Silvia, White Princess Kanata. I rarely see you two host these tea parties.”

After Tifureka sat down, White Princess Kanata spoke, “We mainly want to relax. This one occasion Silvia caused trouble.”

“White Princess Kanata, I heard that!”

Silvia, with her stern yet loving persona, wouldn’t tolerate anyone tarnishing her reputation—she prioritized honor and justice.

But Kanata was one of her best friends, so she didn’t get too angry.

“Oh? Silvia messed up on a mission.”

“Just careless. Next time, they’ll face retribution for their insolence.”

Seeing Silvia’s serious stance, Kanata didn’t press further and turned to Tifureka.

“Tifureka, we’ve got your favorite black tea ready. Hold on a sec.”

“Indeed, as expected of you.”

Tifureka wore a happy smile.

She loved black tea, but unfortunately, her friends weren’t big fans.

Seeing Tifureka’s genuine happiness, Kanata reciprocated with a smile.

As a boy, though, he remembered everyone’s preferences, such as Tifureka’s fondness for black tea.

It was a little detail, really.

Soon after, another participant arrived.

This woman had green hair and yellow eyes, was exquisitely beautiful, and was barely taller than Kanata.

“Hello, I never thought there’d be a tea party today.”

It was Moon Sings Selena, who enjoyed afternoon tea and chatting with friends—if there was a social event, she was always there.

Silvia and company greeted Moon Sings, and then they waited for the next member.

No time passed before the last participant arrived.

“I reckon I’m the last one.”

A blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman named Mireyuu Emperor, with an invitingly warm smile and an aura of sacredness, settled at the table.

She was a nun from the Order of Sequence.

She wasn’t just any nun.

With the last person there, their tea party of five finally began.

“Let’s start chatting and sipping tea. Any interesting topics to share?”

Silvia didn’t want to revisit earlier topics.

She needed to find relaxation elsewhere.

Surely someone had an interesting tale to tell.

That’s when Tifureka spoke up.

“The most interesting recent topic has to be the protection work for Songstress Qing Liao.”

“Songstress Qing Liao? The world-renowned beautiful singer?”

“Yes, I’m part of the protection team.”
