27~ It’s all yours now, buddy.
(Double Update)
You know what they say, when the lights are off, all women are the same—whether beautiful or plain. What truly matters is the figure.
And yes, Cole was indeed up to something when he got close to Tillysha. But it wasn’t his own plan; it was somebody else’s directive to persuade Tillysha to drop out of Dillin’s team.
At first, Cole was dead set on accomplishing that goal. However, after getting an up-close view of Tillysha’s ‘assets,’ an extra agenda sneaked into the picture.
A random Wild Female like her, without even a family name, must’ve had a sheltered life. Given her youth and the unsightly scar on her face, any girl in her shoes would be insecure, desperate for acknowledgment.
“Why not charm her into bed for some fun?” Cole thought.
So, Cole started weaving his scheme, positioning himself as a mentor offering help and support, creating more excuses to cozy up to Tillysha. Next step? Turning what’s raw into done.
Little did he know, Tillysha had seen through his every sneaky move from the get-go.
This lowlife…
Tillysha felt nothing but disgust.
Not sparing even a young girl like her, you scumbag! Do you even realize that you’re breaking the law?!
Elves are known for their sharp instincts. The moment Cole approached Tillysha with ill intentions, she felt a chill down her spine.
“I’m done eating. Excuse me, but I must take my leave.” The slimy man beside her was fawning and grinning like an idiot. She couldn’t stand it. After popping the last piece of fruit into her mouth, Tillysha stood up, intent on cutting breakfast short—this was getting too unpleasant.
“Eh, wait a moment…” Realizing she was leaving, Cole froze, suddenly flustered. Unthinking, he grabbed her elbow.
“Let go.” Tillysha, holding her plate, straightened up with an icy tone. Gone were the polite “mister” and all semblance of courtesy.
“What…” Cole felt a cold shiver down his spine, confusing and alarming him.
She’s just an unawakened Divine Princess, unable to even manifest the Divine Princess Domain—how could she exude such a commanding air, making his heart skip a beat?
“No, I think there’s been a misunderstanding, younger sister… You see, I…”
“Let go.” Tillysha’s gaze turned colder, as if Cole was nothing more than a speck of dust. Devoting time and effort to him seemed like sheer waste.
“You insolent Wild Female… Don’t get too big for your boots…” Cole was riled up by her look.
Being looked down on by an incompetent Divine Princess who can’t even activate the Divine Princess Domain infuriated him.
Tillysha frowned. Her feeble strength could not break free from the genuine Divine Princess’ grip, and the Divine Princess cafeteria was nearly empty…
“What do you think you’re doing?” Feeling herself being pulled toward him, Tillysha’s beautiful eyes narrowed.
“What? You brat, it’s time you learned to respect your seniors!”
As the punch came flying, Tillysha closed her eyes.
“Touching a girl without her consent the first time you meet is very impolite, Mr. Cole.”
“Bullying younger girls is most certainly not gentlemanly behavior. According to Coleman Academy’s Rule 467, students who unilaterally bully others will be expelled.” At that, a voice rang out, clear like a crescent moon, reciting the rule with precision.
That easily recognizable, chilling voice made Tillysha instantly realize who it was.
“E, Aistride?!” When the silver-haired, icily beautiful Elf Girl appeared in front of him, Cole was stunned for several moments before releasing Tillysha’s elbow and halting his actions.
“Aistride, I think this young lady needs some explaining,” Aistride’s face remained expressionless. Her night-cold purple eyes stared calmly at Cole, not wavering an inch.
“Sorry, Tillysha, I lost my temper just now. Please forgive me, I didn’t mean any harm…” With Aistride on the scene, Cole changed his attitude in a heartbeat, quickly choosing a sincere apology.
He looked sincere, but whether his heart was sincere was anyone’s guess.
Tillysha shook her sore elbow, refusing to even glance at Cole, as if he was completely insignificant. Giving him even a second more of her attention was utterly meaningless.
This girl…
Looking at her dazzling platinum hair, Aistride’s eyes flickered with a slight glint.
For some reason, this hair hue seemed familiar…
Unconsciously, Aistride brushed a strand of her own silver hair.
The sun and the moon are the symbols of the Elves.
Her gaze shifted to the girl’s ears—they were normal human ears.
Yet for some reason, Aistride sensed a faint, comforting familiarity about this girl, although it might have just been her mind playing tricks.
“If there’s nothing else, I have class, so I’ll take my leave,” Tillysha looked straight at Aistride, not at Cole, and gave her a slight nod.
“Thank you sincerely for not staying indifferent, Miss Elf.” Tillysha slightly bowed, and after this simple expression of gratitude, there were no more words.
“It’s nothing. Stepping forward to help in such a situation is only proper.” For some unknown reason, when she heard the phrase “Miss Elf” spoken by Tillysha, Aistride felt a sudden pang in her heart.
Seeing Tillysha had no intention of reporting him, Cole felt a sigh of relief.
“Excuse me, are you Tillysha?” Just as Tillysha was about to leave after clearing her plate, the silver-haired Elf unexpectedly called her back.
“Mm, Is there anything else you need to say?”
“Are you…his new Divine Princess?” Whom ‘he’ referred to was obvious.
“I appreciate your concern, Miss Elf.” After a moment’s thought, Tillysha replied cryptically.
“Don’t misunderstand, I didn’t intentionally inquire about who he’s currently teamed with… It’s just, your scent on you, it’s heavily his.” The silver-haired Elf kept her calm expression, yet beneath it lay a tangle of complex and suppressed emotions.
“Mm, that’s correct, I’m his Divine Princess.” Tillysha still refused to turn around.
“So it’s true, huh…” The silver-haired Elf slightly lowered her head, her expression hidden from sight.
“Miss Elf, asking this—does it indicate otherwise?”
“… His curiosity is insatiable, and it often lands him in unnecessary trouble. Additionally, his lifestyle is too carefree, and he’s awfully disheveled… Please, take good care of him.” After a long pause, Aistride said these hard-to-let-go-of words bitterly.
“Mm, I will.” After a moment’s silence, Tillysha didn’t linger any longer and headed for the exit.
