66~Trash Outed By The Times
As Tillysha visualized the realm effects, she had already mapped out her weapon combinations. Not to mention elasticity, the key aspect was resilience. One could say, as long as the bow didn’t break, she would remain unscathed.
Most poisons only work when they enter the bloodstream, so if they can’t even pierce the skin, they’re as good as useless. In other words, in front of Tillysha, the Ranger Goddess’s Divine Authority was nothing more than a figment of imagination.
As for Lalo, dealing with him was even simpler. This self-proclaimed stud with the horse face had a Divine Authority that was as weak as him. No matter how unbeatable he looked in close combat, he still needed to get close to his opponent to release his powers. After all, illusions can’t increase his attack range. All Tillysha needed to do was keep her distance.
Of course, Aileen standing not far away would not allow Tillysha to distance herself from Lalo.
After dodging the Divine Authority, Aileen realized that Tillysha, after her Goddess transformation, was a tough opponent. She tightened her whip and took it seriously.
With her sharp eyes fixed on Tillysha, Aileen looked for any weaknesses while continuously maneuvering with Lalo, hoping to hit Tillysha with her Divine Authority.
If she could immobilize Tillysha, Lalo and the ranger behind her could easily take her out. That’s at least what Aileen believed.
Despite being slightly more serious now, Aileen still didn’t consider Tillysha worthy of being their opponent. In her eyes, Tillysha’s elimination was inevitable.
“Yah yah yah!” Lalo charged at Tillysha like a mad rhinoceros, infuriated by this golden-haired girl who slipped past him with remarkable agility, like an ungraspable eel.
In a fit of anger, Lalo slammed his brass knuckles on the ground, throwing up dirt toward the constantly dodging Tillysha.
Seeing this, Tillysha easily leaped away from Lalo’s tantrum-like attack, stepping lightly on his shoulder. Her delicate white toes curled tightly, gripping Lalo’s shoulder as a foothold to jump off. In mid-air, she arched her back, and pulled her bow.
As she drew the bowstring with her fair hands, golden wings sprouted at the ends of her bow, making it look like an angel’s harp.
A light arrow condensed on it, and was loaded by Tillysha in the bow’s aiming point.
Whether in her past or present life, this was the first time Tillysha was using a bow, yet she didn’t find it strange at all. It was as if the art of archery was ingrained in her instinct, as natural as eating and drinking. To not be proficient at it would seem odd.
She held her breath, focused, and searched for the best point of force on the bowstring.
Lowering her arms, internally rotating her elbows, pushing the bow with her tiger mouths, and using the force from both shoulders, she pulled the bowstring, aiming at the target, and released the arrow with a flick of her fingers, sending it flying.
On the ground, Lalo, who had been slightly destabilized by Tillysha stepping on his shoulders, quickly regained his balance thanks to Tillysha’s light weight. Just as he turned around, he saw the light arrow rapidly enlarging in his field of vision.
“Kaaah!” Lalo seemed to want to say something or do something to stop it, but it was already too late. The arrow struck his neck almost the moment he turned his head.
However, this was not enough to take Lalo’s life. Even with the lowest Divine Resistance, it still worked to some degree. Plus, Tillysha’s Realm level was only LV1. One arrow, even if it hit a vital spot, was not enough to defeat Lalo.
This was also within Tillysha’s expectations.
If one didn’t finish him off, a few more would.
But as she was about to land and pull her bow again, a thorny black vine bound her flawless wrist.
“Hmph.” Seeing her Divine Authority hit, Aileen smirked.
Ever since then, she had been looking for an opening in Tillysha’s defenses, and finally, she had her chance.
Even though they knew nothing about Tillysha’s Divine Authority and realm, no matter how much she jumped around, having her hands tied would make it impossible to pull the bowstring, right?
Seeing this, Tillysha remained calm. She noticed that Aileen was far away, and Lalo hadn’t yet recovered from her previous attack.
To simulate a real battlefield, though the tokens could block damage, the pain would still feedback. That meant Lalo was currently enduring the pain of being struck through the neck by Divine Authority.
For now, she was safe.
So, she decisively dropped her bow. The absence of the bow caused the pain from the vine’s thorns to penetrate her skin.
First Divine Authority [Holy Oblivion], Cast Blade.
Tillysha’s hand touched the sunlight above her, and the golden threads turned into a solid object, forming into a dazzling and brilliant knight’s light sword.
This was the effect of Tillysha’s first Divine Authority — creating different blades based on different elements she touched.
Raising the knight’s light sword, Tillysha decisively swung it, cutting the black thorny vine wrapped around her arm in two.
Where did she get a sword?!
Aileen was dumbfounded.
This girl wasn’t supposed to be a Ranger-type Goddess using bows? If she was a bow user, where did this light sword come from?!
Could it be that using a bow was just a cover-up, and her real Divine Authority was generating sword-like objects akin to a Knight-type Goddess?
This time Aileen guessed right, but it was already too late. Tillysha hurled the light sword in her hand, impaling it deep into Lalo’s abdomen just as he caught his breath.
“!” Lalo took a few steps back, and obvious cracks appeared on his token. Apparently, the token had determined his durability was about to hit zero.
Lifting her bow, Tillysha continued her attack, sending another precise and ruthless arrowhead that perfectly struck Lalo’s Adam’s apple.
The accuracy and ruthlessness of this arrowhead left both Aileen and the Goddess next to her feeling like they had cold chills running down their spines.
Pursuing precision in life-and-d*ath combat situations is both impractical and unwise. Even a seasoned archer needs a brief moment to aim for perfect accuracy, and that moment could have been enough for two arrows to be fired. If the opponent were also a proficient archer, striving too much for precision could be their last pull on the bowstring.
The first time Tillysha hit Lalo’s neck from mid-air was understandable by chance, but the second time the same “coincidence” occurred, it wasn’t coincidence at all…
This wild goddess was holding back during their previous match!
Otherwise, even without her Divine Authority and realms, her terrifying archery skills would have been enough to rival Aileen.
As for the fact that Tillysha had never picked up a bow before, Aileen didn’t even consider it.
Come on, just by looking at the precision and skill level, one could tell this was someone with a rare talent and years of combat experience with a bow. To say that this was the first time she was using a bow would make anyone incredulous!
Since her archery was so good, Aileen could only conclude that Tillysha had been holding back.
This conniving diva… Not only had she seized the high ground in public opinion, but she also humiliated her greatly!
The token appeared, and the light arrow was stuck on it. With a crisp sound, the token broke, and Lalo was teleported out of the Secret Realm.
“Knight class goddess of team 57, Lalo, has been defeated by the ranger class goddess of team 30, Tillysha.”
The icy spell casting voice echoed in the Secret Realm, and looking at the golden-haired girl who had so effortlessly eliminated Lalo, Aileen’s heart turned as cold as the announcement…
The wind carried the sound of scattered leaves and flying hair, while the calm eyes of the young girl fell upon Aileen.
In front of the proud and solitary golden-haired girl standing tall like a swan, Aileen felt like trash long forgotten by the times.
