89~The Worth of an Epic-Level Divine Analysis Technique
Barkley almost suffered a cerebral hemorrhage from Tillysha’s words.
That golden-haired girl who deserved a thousand cuts and ten thousand slashes not only revealed her real name to the public but also blabbed the secret of his Divine Authority along the way.
Walls have ears, not to mention countless eyes were tuned in for the live broadcast!
Now, with so many people aware of his Divine Authority’s secret, it would only be a matter of time before the entire school knew, turning him into nothing more than a blank slate. Was this an attempt to drive him to an early grave?!
That infuriating golden-haired chick—she deserved a d*ath sentence!
“Oh my goodness! That was a close one. Wenfu almost got eliminated!” The nerve-racking scene made all the students in the square rooting for Wenfu break a sweat.
“Tillysha is so cool!”
“Tillysha is tough. Fighting three people and carrying a burden!” Many teased.
The images reflected by the crystal stones didn’t transmit sound, so the people present only saw Tillysha’s mouth moving, unaware of what she had actually said.
But Barkley in the Secret Realm didn’t know that! He thought his secret had already been revealed by Tillysha to the entire school, causing his mental state to completely collapse.
After Tillysha mentioned Barkley’s name, his Divine Authority began to dissolve, losing its fusion with the surrounding environment, exposing him to everyone’s view.
Tillysha abruptly raised her longbow and let loose a swift arrow.
Blake and the Mage were too far from Barkley. Neither were they the type of Swift Ranger Princess skilled in speed, so they couldn’t provide support in time.
As the saying goes, attacking a city is inferior to attacking the heart. Barkley himself had already been mentally dismantled by Tillysha. He was drowning in existential despair, contemplating his future life, when he realized the impending danger. Instinctively, he raised his dagger to block but was still half a beat too slow.
The arrow grazed along the edge of the dagger, slightly reducing its impact, but it still wasn’t enough for a successful interception.
The light arrow mainly dealt physical impact damage with a small portion of Divine Authority-based damage. Even if it hit a vital spot, a Divine Princess with a protective Realm wouldn’t instantly d*e.
In real combat, taking down an opponent in one move as opposed to two is a world of difference. Missing the one-shot k*ll gives the enemy an opportunity to adjust, making it harder for the second shot to hit.
As the light arrow was about to hit Barkley, it suddenly shone brilliantly, and its dull surface emitted a faint pink glow.
The dazzling golden and pink arrows pierced straight through Barkley’s Realm, penetrating his neck.
At that moment, accompanied by the sound of a token shattering, a cold announcement rang out.
“Ranger Princess Lehman of Team Eleven has been defeated by Ranger Princess Tillysha of Team Thirty.”
One-shot killed??
This shocked not only Blake and the Mage but left Tillysha herself somewhat surprised.
Barkley’s physical resistance was rated four stars, and his Divine Resistance was two stars. By Tillysha’s calculations, even if her arrow hit a vital spot, it shouldn’t have killed Barkley in one shot.
Divine Princess Realms are no joke.
Upon reflection, there seemed to be something different when she pulled the bowstring. It felt like her strength was slightly greater than usual.
Tillysha glanced at Wenfu behind her, and sure enough, her eyes were tightly closed, her hands in a prayer position, the tail behind her swaying. A faint pink halo outlined the girl’s tempting silhouette.
Wenfu had activated her Divine Authority.
She must have temporarily transferred her strength to Tillysha, triggering the special power of her Divine Authority.
With Barkley dealt with, Tillysha unhesitatingly aimed her bow at the remaining two. A golden arrow gathered energy, its tip glowing with dazzling pink hues as it shot towards Blake.
She didn’t aim at the Mage without Realm protection because Tillysha had already used Divine Analysis Technique to detect that the Mage was significantly faster than Blake. There was a possibility that the Mage could dodge the shot, but not Blake who was too slow to escape the arrow’s pursuit.
Wenfu’s Power was almost spent after several engagements, and her Divine Authority could only be used sparingly. Tillysha wanted to avoid wasting it.
The arrow wrapped in a pink aura shot toward Blake as expected. Blake’s eyes flickered with surprise.
Rationally speaking, eliminating the Mage without Realm protection first seemed more logical. If they fell for it, it would be foolish. Yet this golden-haired girl didn’t hesitate to attack him instead…
Additionally, Blake was confused by how Tillysha knew Barkley’s real name. Even the two teammates had been kept in the dark—where had she obtained this information?
Despite the unexpected complication, strong teams remained strong. Blake exchanged a glance with his teammate, who instantly understood, activating the fireball scroll.
However, it wasn’t aimed at Tillysha but at Blake himself.
What was this supposed to mean?
Tillysha and Wenfu both appeared puzzled.
The light arrow sped forward, but since the Mage was not far from Blake, the summoned fireball arrived just in front of Blake before the arrow did.
Blake smirked, swinging his axe with massive air currents unleashed.
Divine Authority, “Blade-like Airflow.”
Upon the mid-sized fireball colliding with the Divine Authority airflow, it instantly erupted into flames swirling around the axe blade. It spun around before chopping out like a long dragon of fire.
“Fiery Airflow Slash!”
You could do that?!
The fiery airflow formed a long dragon that clashed with the light pink arrows. Divine Authority against Divine Authority, the clash created an explosive vortex, seemingly ending in a tie.
With the wind swaying their cloaks, Tillysha, puzzled by the tie, activated the Divine Analysis Technique. Through it, she observed a tiny but critical detail.
Had only the fiery aftermath of the shattered fireball interacted with the enhanced arrow, the arrow would have pierced right through it. However, what met the enhanced arrow included not only the fire but also Blake’s Divine Authority, the airflow.
During the earlier battle, Tillysha noticed that Blake’s Divine Authority range wasn’t long and only took effect outside the axe.
Thus, when the fireball arrived, Blake didn’t instantly destroy it but waited briefly before doing so.
This was to ensure the arrow flew within the active range of his Divine Authority before shattering the fireball. In this way, the ‘barrier’ intercepting the arrow gained an additional layer.
Truly worth mentioning, the top ten teams were meticulous indeed!
Tillysha glanced at her remaining Power through introspection. It was still ample, but after using the “Cui Sè Heavenly Fragrance,” she was left with only two charges.
And this was only the first battle of the top ten…
She estimated it wouldn’t be long before she had to utilize another effect of “Holy Oblivion” and maybe even her third Divine Authority.
Tillysha gave Wenfu behind her a look and activated the Divine Analysis Technique.
Since it was an epic-level Divine Analysis Technique, shouldn’t it be able to display anything she wanted to see?
With this idea in mind, Tillysha noticed three different colored bars appear above Wenfu’s head through her vision.
There was a red bar, a yellow bar, and a blue bar.
Wenfu’s red bar was still sufficiently full, hardly damaged, the yellow bar had two-thirds remaining, while the blue bar had less than half left.
Considering the situation, Tillysha guessed the red bar represented vitality, or health points, the blue bar, her Power. But as for the yellow bar, Tillysha couldn’t figure it out—it must be more complex than just stamina.
An advanced level of Divine Analysis Technique could actually detect the enemy’s detailed state?……
