### Chapter 67: An Unusual Weekend
The sun was up.
It was Night Star’s side.
After a long night, Night Lan was still enjoying her peaceful daily life, nothing much to report there.
Night Star woke up in the Rising Sun Theater, calculating how many days were left until the weekend.
“Two days? Only two days until the performance here!”
Night Star felt both excited and nervous.
After observing for a few days, she concluded that the order in Waltonka was a bit chaotic.
Though, it wasn’t as bad as she imagined.
At least, no one was pulling out big guns and firing randomly in the streets; some areas were fairly calm.
But that was just in comparison to places she had been. Who knows what kind of craziness was happening in the places she hadn’t visited?
Night Star shimmied out of bed.
Logically speaking, members of the Rising Sun Theater Group should start preparing for the weekend performances.
Whether it was singing practice, acting, or getting props ready, this was when the theater buzzed with activity.
As Night Star approached the stage, she noticed all the theater group members were present, apparently discussing the weekend show’s lineup.
The scripts for various dramas had been finalized, all written by Book Yao, and were just awaiting the group leader and the others to familiarize themselves.
And there were singing segments.
Since they were in the Free Country, singing in the local language would capture the audience’s attention much better. Kong Yu Bai had already prepared several English songs as a backup.
These performance gigs didn’t involve Night Star.
Typically, she didn’t participate in these kinds of shows because she was an audience performer.
Even if she could branch out into different roles, she’d have to wait for the grand performance.
Usually, she preferred watching the performances of other members; getting involved wasn’t her cup of tea.
The group leader and others were quite okay with that.
Night Star glanced towards the stage and headed to the washroom to freshen up. Only when she looked presentable did she dare approach the stage.
As she got closer, Night Star suddenly spotted Mo Rabbit sitting in a seat, not sure where she’d been hanging out.
Once Mo Rabbit arrived at Waltonka, she had turned into a wild husky, rarely seen. Night Star sometimes couldn’t find her even if she tried.
But Mo Rabbit quickly noticed Night Star’s gaze and waved at her.
“Come over here.”
“What for?”
Night Star walked over, puzzled about why she was being summoned.
“I’ve made a new discovery; want to hear about it?”
“Eh? Spill the beans!”
Night Star’s interest piqued.
Mo Rabbit’s insights were usually solid gold. If she had something noteworthy to share, it could help Night Star dodge a lot of trouble.
This little loli occasionally proved to be pretty reliable.
In response to Night Star’s eager expression, Mo Rabbit revealed the divination she had done yesterday.
“In the near future, Waltonka might welcome a presence on par with yours. Perhaps it’s a Star Holder or a Star Eclipse. I don’t know what their intentions are, though.”
“Whoa? Could it be that guy?”
Night Star instinctively thought of the Star Eclipse information the Dream Narrator had shared with her.
He mentioned that a supernova-tier follower had been active in the Free Country.
Could it be that the existence Mo Rabbit had divined was him?
Didn’t see that coming! The fact that Mo Rabbit had managed to predict their arrival was terrifying; it seemed like there was no escaping this.
Mo Rabbit raised an eyebrow, noticing that Night Star seemed to have prior knowledge.
This little loli was clearly aware of something Mo Rabbit didn’t know, and her curiosity skyrocketed.
However, Mo Rabbit couldn’t bring herself to ask Night Star directly, fearing it would end up with her being coerced into agreeing to something. So she remained tight-lipped for a while before making her suggestion.
“In two days, the theater group will perform off-site. Their activities might attract this unknown presence. Even if it doesn’t show up in two days, you’ll encounter it eventually. Are you ready to meet them?”
Night Star puffed out her chest, completely unruffled.
“What’s there to be afraid of? Just a mere Supernova Star Eclipse! Even if he’s a follower of the Origin of the Stars, I’m not backing down.”
Turning the unknown into the known gave her all the confidence in the world.
Night Star already had a rough idea from the Dream Narrator about that Star Eclipse.
Even if they bumped into each other now, she felt utterly unfazed.
Of course, peace was preferable.
If the other party didn’t want to fight, then chatting could be on the table. But if they were looking for trouble, they’d better not blame her for being ruthless.
Even without using the Wish Machine, Night Star could pack a good punch thanks to the theater group’s strength.
“Eh~ Is that so? I hope so!”
Seeing Night Star’s confident demeanor, Mo Rabbit was unsure where this newfound self-assurance came from.
She used to be rather timid and never thought she would act so boldly now.
But Mo Rabbit held back her questions, merely shrugging her shoulders, not planning to continue the topic.
Then suddenly, Night Star leaned in and placed her hand on Mo Rabbit’s head, giving her a little pat.
“Pat pat~ Consider this a reward for your info!”
“You…” Mo Rabbit’s vision darkened momentarily; she almost fainted from the shock.
But she didn’t dare say anything.
All the members of the Rising Sun Theater Group were over at the stage, mostly Night Star’s people.
So she held her tongue.
Mo Rabbit had to endure the shivering until Night Star removed her hand. Frustrated, she said, “Can you at least consider my dignity? I’m a healthy adult male, after all!”
“Nope! Right now, Mo Rabbit is just a little loli, so to me, you’re all little lolis!”
Night Star retorted with all the confidence in the world.
She hadn’t forgotten Mo Rabbit’s destination of being female.
Lately, they had been busy, and Mo Rabbit often dashed around, so given the chance to bond like this, Night Star wasn’t about to let go of the chance to coach her.
Unlike other lolis.
Whenever Night Star took advantage of Mo Rabbit, her heart swelled with joy in a way she couldn’t quite put into words. There was just a different vibe with these two.

For example, bullying Mo Rabbit and watching her frustrated expressions was a real hoot.
Recently, Mo Rabbit had started giving off more of a girl vibe.

Mo Rabbit forced herself to ignore Night Star’s hungry gaze and continued, “I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but Qing Liao Songstress’s concert is happening on the second day of the weekend.”
“Oh really? How convenient is that?”
Night Star hadn’t really analyzed this.
She only knew that Qing Liao’s concert was happening in a few days, but didn’t expect it to coincide with the Rising Sun Theater Group’s off-site performance.
Well, it wasn’t exactly a collision; it was more like a near miss.
Thinking it over, such an arrangement seemed to come with plenty of benefits.
For instance, it could help attract some attention to Qing Liao. The Rising Sun Theater Group definitely had the clout for that.
In this regard, Night Star and Mo Rabbit found themselves on the same wavelength.
