Chapter 70: Shock and Awe
“So that girl’s called the Announcer, huh? What’s her deal crashing into the church? Should we go catch her now?”
Tifureka pondered for a moment, not sprinting off just yet.
According to protocol, any suspicious character invading the church had to be investigated and sanctioned—otherwise, it would be a serious blow to the Order of Sequence’s prestige.
But at this moment, Tifureka couldn’t leave Qing Liao’s side.
This sort of thing should be left to someone else.
However, it seemed the Announcer belonged to some organization.
And that organization apparently had some unusual powers—not to be underestimated.
Plus, the name “Rising Sun Theater Group”… why did it sound so familiar?
She vaguely remembered someone mentioning it. It was that person who had just returned from Huaxia a while back and casually brought up the existence of the Rising Sun Theater Group.
But Tifureka hadn’t pressed for details; she merely noted it down.
So, this so-called Rising Sun Theater Group came from Huaxia?
Things were definitely getting complicated.
If international issues got tangled up in this, she would be in for a major headache.
The scene shifted back to the stage.
After introducing the theater group, the Announcer stepped to the edge of the stage to announce the next performance, and another performer began to make their entrance.
Tifureka’s eyes widened as she focused on the figure walking confidently to the center of the stage.
She sensed it!
That chilling aura, that hair-raising feeling of danger—it was definitely a Star Eclipse!
Standing on the stage was a young man wearing a mask, a faint smile playing on his lips that screamed “I definitely know how to con you.”
But that was merely the surface.
Ordinary folks couldn’t feel his Star Eclipse aura, but Star Holders like Tifureka sensed it loud and clear.
If we likened danger to flames…
An ordinary person’s perception was like a candle that could be snuffed out with a puff, but the masked man’s appearance had ignited a raging inferno capable of burning everything in sight!
This was an Ultra Star Eclipse!
One of the worst disasters!
Tifureka hadn’t encountered something this catastrophic in months.
Usually, the Star Eclipses she dealt with were below the ultra level, nothing too tricky, and yet, here they were today?
Next to her, Moon Sings was just as on edge, her hair standing on end as she gripped her weapon tightly—clearly sensing the masked man’s true identity.
Mi Lei You also watched the stage with an anxious expression.
“It’s a Star Eclipse… a terrifying Star Eclipse. Why is one showing up right now?!”
Everyone in the know held their breath, frozen in place to avoid drawing attention, quietly hiding away.
A disaster of the Ultra Star Eclipse level couldn’t be solved by just one Holy Knight.
Even Tifureka might need a lot of backup to face it alone—at least two Holy Knights to stand a chance.
The combatants present were like a bunch of scattered leaves, the Star Holders coming from various factions that would never band together against a Star Eclipse; it was every man for himself when trouble struck.
If a Star Eclipse disaster were to occur, the only ones who could spring into action would be the official enforcement agency, the Order of Sequence.
It would be a miracle if other Star Eclipse organizations didn’t use this opportunity to stir the pot.
Moments later.
The Fraudster’s performance came to an end.
With his exit, the tension among those in the know relaxed a smidge.
It seemed… that Ultra Star Eclipse wasn’t planning to make a move?
Or perhaps his obsession was simply satisfied with just performing?
If that were the case, it would be a relief to avoid unnecessary disaster.
Tifureka thought to herself.
Next up on stage was a petite figure—the Loli puppet master, Lianhua, adorned with simple wooden puppets.
Before she took the stage, the Night Star had handed her Little Lian.
It was better for Lianhua to perform with Little Lian as a duo, seeing as they were one unit in a sense.
This was, in part, why the complete puppet master appeared on stage.
As Lianhua stepped away from Night Star and Kong Yu Bai, her aura began to radiate.
But this was a much more terrifying and eerie presence.
Ordinary people couldn’t sense it; they were out of their element, their weak mental faculties sparing them from the encounter.
Yet, Star Holders with strong perception could feel another indescribable existence, as if a mountain was crushing them down, a curious sensation paralyzing their thoughts, making them feel like they were about to cross some threshold.
But that feeling dissipated seconds later, as if nothing had ever happened.
It still left a massive impression on the Star Holders present.
Tifureka clenched her racing heart next to Qing Liao, seemingly struggling to suppress her fear.
If only she could harness the fear from earlier to fight, she’d be unstoppable!
But that fear came from the girl on stage with the puppet; there was no way to use it.
What was that?
It exceeded any imaginable scope!
Why was Waltonka having such an entity manifest?
Was this city doomed?
It couldn’t be a coincidence.
That was an Ultra Star Eclipse—no, an even more advanced Supernova Star Eclipse!
The most terrifying, dangerous, and outrageous disaster!
Sending a bunch of members from the church to fight against it would just be feeding them to the monsters!
“Ultra… Supernova… Rising Sun Theater Group?”
But the shock didn’t end there.
The show continued as usual.
With the Singer, Fraudster, and Puppet Master taking turns, the Gentleman and Group Leader graced the stage as well.
The opera and stage play offered the audience quite a visual feast, making them marvel at the high quality of the performances.
But to Star Holders, what they saw was entirely different.
To ordinary folks, it might just be an entertaining show.
But to Star Holders’ eyes, it looked like a bunch of monsters performing some dark ritual on stage.
The man in the top hat and the magician were Ultra-level Star Eclipses themselves.
These auras were blatantly revealed—no need for disguise.
Usually, if only one Ultra Star Eclipse showed up, they might not be this rattled. After all, it would ultimately be handled by the Order of Sequence.
But the current situation had surpassed anyone’s imagination.
One known Supernova, three Ultra-levels, and other unidentifiable existences.
What in the world was the Rising Sun Theater Group?!
Tifureka forced herself to calm down, locking her gaze on a few silhouettes still offstage.
They too were members of the Rising Sun Theater Group.
Not to mention the eerie Announcer, there were also the singing girl whose presence was still unperceived, and two more figures lingering at the edge, yet to perform.
One was a silver-haired girl with a mask, who had been watching the stage since the beginning.
Next to her stood a purple-haired woman, equally inscrutable.
But given the multitude of bizarre figures already part of the Rising Sun Theater Group, they too were unlikely to be simple—definitely figures beyond imagination!
What were these guys, with such a massive power scale, trying to accomplish?
As the performance drew to a close, the theater members gathered on stage and bowed in thanks.
The Group Leader stepped forward, removing the magic hat off his head and tossing it into the air.
“Well then, see you next time.”
Boom!
The black magic hat exploded mid-air, raining down countless black feathers, capturing everyone’s attention.
Their gazes were helplessly drawn toward the shower of feathers.
When they looked back at the stage, the performers had vanished without a trace.
