“Where is your other friend?”
“Oh, she’s waiting in the audience for the concert to start. I thought waiting there would be boring, so I came to look for Qing Liao Songstress.”
There was no point in hiding this.
Hearing this, Claire didn’t bother asking why she hadn’t contacted Qing Liao Songstress in advance to avoid trouble.

At present, only Noya could stand up against Moonglow.
Claire kept her face in a formal smile.
“We’ve brought a friend of Qing Liao Songstress here. Could you please inform her?”
Night Star stepped forward to examine this Order of Sequence member. He thought she was quite pretty too.
Moonglow’s gaze changed upon seeing Night Star.
So cute!
Moonglow actually had a secret; she preferred girls over boys. She kept this hidden to maintain her friendships, fearing others might distance themselves from her.
Often, when chatting about males, she made up stories about the kind of men she liked to avoid the topic.
But now, seeing Night Star, she felt her heart flutter.
Despite normally preferring youthful, vibrant girls over young ones.
Moonglow looked at the petite silver-haired girl before her, her voice softening.
“What’s your name?”
“I’m called Night Star.”
“Are you really a friend of Qing Liao Songstress?”
“Mm-hmm, you can go ask her.”
Moonglow nodded thoughtfully.
“I’ll go ask, wait here for now.”
Moonglow entered soon after.
He Lixia couldn’t help but comment.
“Woah…her tone changed so drastically! Definitely not happy with us. Is it because we’re not as cute as Night Star?”
Claire shook her head.
“Just ordinary hostility. Order of Sequence members never liked unaffiliated Star Organizations much anyway. It’s already polite of them not to attack.”
“But now, Night Star’s part of our Night Hunt team,” He Lixia muttered.
Presently, Moonglow walked back to Night Star.
“You may enter now,” she said.
Then, to Claire and the others, “You can continue your patrol.”
“We’ll be leaving then.”
Claire took Noa and He Lixia and left, saying no more.
No point in getting cozy based on their acquaintance with Night Star; that wasn’t worth the risk.
Night Star silently passed through Moonglow’s door, finally reaching the inside.
The space was impressive, large enough to be awe-inspiring.
A short distance away, several figures could be seen.
Besides two from the Order of Sequence, a few others worked on stage preparation. Clothes and makeup duties were likely theirs.
Qing Liao appeared to be all set.
With stunning brilliance, about to take the stage, showcasing the aura of the World Songstress completely! Surely the brightest star there.
Upon spotting Night Star, Qing Liao stood to walk over.
“Night Star, why are you here? Not waiting in the audience?”
“Uh, it’s so boring there, better wait until after you’re on stage.”
Night Star affectionately hugged Qing Liao, his face resting gently above her small waist.
His scent was sweet, probably from some expensive perfume.
Two other figures approached—the other two from the Order of Sequence: Tifureka and Mi Lei You.
“Songstress Qing Liao, this is your friend?”
Mi Lei You curiously examined Night Star, who seemed like a cute mystery.
Qing Liao thought for a moment and quickly came up with an explanation.
“She’s named Night Star, a friend from Huaxia who loves singing. Only recently arrived from Huaxia to the Free Country. Heard about my concert in Waltonka and came over.”
“I see,” Mi Lei You wasn’t suspicious at first glance.
If Qing Liao vouched for her, it must be true.
Tifureka continued observing Night Star.
Although she recognized him as a Star Holder, nothing else seemed amiss.
Their close relationship almost felt like siblings sworn together.
“Long journey, rest a bit, I’ll protect you both.”
