059. Short Skirt Crossdressing

Lin Nan didn’t really know that many girls in his class. The only names he could remember were those of a few girls seated near him, and honestly, he often mixed up the names with their respective faces. As for the girls from his department? Forget it!
However, he did recognize the girl in front of him. On one particularly stormy afternoon, after he had bravely decided to ditch class with Chen Yao, he had been utterly paralyzed by the torrential rain outside the teaching building. It was this very girl who had lent him and Chen Yao an extra umbrella.
Now that umbrella was still sitting forgotten in Lin Nan’s dorm, and perhaps that chance meeting was what made her remember his name.
If he recalled correctly, her name was Liu Xin?
Tentatively, Lin Nan asked, “Is that you, Liu Xin?”
The girl, already draping a thin jacket over herself, looked up at him and rolled her eyes. “No, it’s Liu Xuefei! Liu Xin is in your class!”
She took a deep breath, stood up, and asked him, “What are you doing in the girls’ dorm?”
“….”
He couldn’t exactly say he was there for some crossdressing fun, could he?
“He asked me to help him with his crossdressing! He wants to look super pretty!” Li Na chimed in.
Lin Nan felt so embarrassed he almost turned to leave.
“Eh?!!” Liu Xuefei exclaimed, her eyes wide in surprise, “Do you want my help?!”
Before Lin Nan could respond, Li Na eagerly agreed, “I can’t do makeup; you take care of that!”
Lin Nan was mortified, convinced that if word got out about today’s escapades, he wouldn’t be able to show his face around the school for the next two years.
His face burned red, and he just stood awkwardly, staring at his shoelaces like they held the meaning of life.
Once Liu Xuefei had donned her jacket, she seemed unfazed and rushed over, giving him an all-over inspection while he was still floundering in embarrassment.
She let out a giggle, “I always thought you’d totally rock crossdressing! I’ll help you with makeup—oh, it’ll be fabulous!”
Nodding his red face, Lin Nan was about to say something when Li Na thrust a set of women’s clothing at him. “Go change in the bathroom.”
“…”
Sure, he had actively chosen to wear women’s clothes, but now? He regretted it more than ever and wanted to find a hole to crawl into and never face anyone again.
He initially thought today’s crossdressing adventure would be smooth sailing. Just a simple outfit of short-sleeved top and pants with a bit of magic makeup, and then hang out in Li Na’s dorm all day. After all, Li Na knew his situation; crossdressing in front of her wasn’t a huge deal—he wouldn’t be labeled a creep at least.
But he hadn’t counted on the fact that Li Na had roommates and that the outfit was a short skirt…
Wasn’t she always in long pants? Who would have guessed she had a skirt stashed away?
When Lin Nan entered the bathroom, he was greeted by a scent that was, let’s say, more potent than that of his own dorm bathroom—he nearly passed out on the spot.
Not thinking too much, he shut his eyes, held his breath, yanked off his clothes, and quickly put on the short skirt before darting out of the bathroom.
It felt incredibly insecure.
He was clutching the hem of the skirt, which barely covered a third of his thighs.
His face was even redder now—he felt it climbing up to his neck, his ears felt on fire, and his brain was reduced to mush.
“Lin Nan, those legs!”
Though only a last-minute addition to the makeup team, Liu Xuefei was more excited than Li Na. She froze upon seeing Lin Nan in a skirt, then let out a shriek like a groundhog seeing spring: “How do you have legs this long?!”
Well, at least the legs were a plus?
Lin Nan didn’t dare look at her, lowering his head as he shuffled back to the room.
Li Na came forward holding a hairnet, curiously assessing Lin Nan’s appearance, finally exclaiming, “You’re starting to look like Lilith!”
“What’s Lilith?” Liu Xuefei was confused. She didn’t think much of Li Na’s comment; when Li Na first introduced herself, she said her name was Lina, and everyone just assumed she had a bit of an accent.
Ignoring Li Na, Liu Xuefei shoved Lin Nan into a chair in front of the mirror. Li Na promptly grabbed a comb and started battling his messy hair.
“Tsk, your hair is really nice,” Liu Xuefei sighed enviously, “Once I put on some makeup, you’ll be a little beauty! Lin Nan, you’ve been born in the wrong gender!”
Lin Nan was staring at the floor, glancing at the mirror with a corner of his eye.
Still pretty unattractive.
He felt a strange sense of loss; obviously, Lilith would not be pleased with this look.
Li Na neatly combed his hair and slipped a hairnet over it, making him feel like a bald head dipped in black dye.
But soon enough, the long black wig was placed on his head, reaching down to his waist with bangs that hid his still somewhat masculine cheekbones and facial contours.
Yet, wearing the wig wasn’t just about sticking it on; Li Na and Liu Xuefei grabbed combs and scissors, diving into a mission to style the wig while also throwing endless banter Lin Nan’s way.
“Today, you’re in drag all day! Come on, help out!”
Liu Xuefei asked in surprise, “Did he lose a truth or dare challenge?”
Lin Nan, not waiting for Li Na to unleash another bombshell, nodded vigorously. “Yes!”
“Don’t move! If I cut it wrong, you’ll look terrible.” Liu Xuefei quickly steadied his head. “Such a fun event definitely includes me! So after crossdressing, where are we going?”
“Just wandering around,” Li Na chuckled, gleefully eyeing Lin Nan’s awkward and flustered expression.
Lin Nan firmly disagreed. “I’m staying in the dorm!”
“It’s fine, I’ll let you wear my safety shorts!”
This isn’t just putting on another pair of pants!
Li Na gave Lin Nan’s leg a light kick. He wanted to retort but held back the words as he glanced in the mirror, suddenly realizing he had been neglecting to keep his thighs together.
He promptly squeezed his legs tight. His already flushed face was now a bright shade of red, his whole body began to tremble lightly, his fingers tingled, and his head felt like it was on fire.
Not daring to say much, he shut his eyes tight, tensing up as he sat there while the two girls worked on his hair. Then, Liu Xuefei approached with some makeup products, ready to lay down the foundation.
“How can a boy have such nice skin?”
“Those legs are so enviable…”
“Lin Nan, you should have dressed like this ages ago… What if your roommates find out… hehehe!”
Liu Xuefei murmured excitedly, her eyes sparkling as she added, “I really want to write a novel about you!”
