I Don’t Want to Be Turned into a Girl by Magic – Chapter 157

160. I Like You!

==============================

Lin Nan had always thought his luck wasn’t too shabby, at least at a mediocre level.

But who knew he’d roll a two on his very first dice throw?

And it was two dice, no less, meaning he got a pair of ones.

The lowest possible score! Although his three dorm mates hadn’t thrown their dice yet, it was already clear he was the one getting punished.

For some bizarre reason, he was actually looking forward to a shameful dare…

It must be Lilith’s influence!

Lin Nan watched eagerly as the other three rolled their dice, eventually landing his gaze on Tu Junhui, who had rolled the highest number.

This guy paused for a moment, then looked up, stroking his stubble, and with a sleazy grin asked, “So, Nan Nan… what will it be? Truth or dare, or just down a bottle?”

“Truth,” Lin Nan said without hesitation.

Despite feeling strangely excited, he couldn’t shake off his shy nature.

“Do you like guys or girls?”

“Girls!”

Not an outrageous truth, but Tu Junhui looked genuinely surprised: “I thought you might be into guys.”

“I’m not into guys!” Lin Nan shot him a middle finger without a second thought.

After all, they were dorm mates, spending day in and day out together for the next couple of years. Playing Truth or Dare wasn’t too out of line at all; at worst, they’d just ask if anyone was secretly hiding a girlfriend or if they were still a virgin.

None from the group opted for a dare, sticking only to truth.

But after a few drinks, the four of them began to feel a bit loopy, and their behaviors started getting bolder.

Tu Junhui was busy rubbing Xiong Da’s shoulders, teasing him like he was a cute girl, while Xiong Da, still expressionless but red-faced from the alcohol, was clearly a target. Meanwhile, Chen Yao was starting to get a headache and couldn’t help but notice Lin Nan’s long, slender, and quite plump legs.

They must feel amazing… I guess I really am a leg guy.

Lin Nan, on the other hand, had zero resistance to alcohol and was already looking fuzzy-brained, completely out of thought, having slipped into the drunken state of “I’ll do whatever pops into my head.”

“Hey you, this time it’s truth or dare?” Chen Yao said with a resigned look at Lin Nan’s rolled dice, then raised his eyes to find Lin Nan’s dazed, blurry gaze.

“Maybe you should just sit this one out?”

“Yeah, sit it out.” Xiong Da nodded, though he had drunk quite a bit himself. He was also allergic to alcohol but at least still had his wits about him.

Looking over at Lin Nan, who was all slumped on the couch, staring blankly as if he’d been read the same book for the hundredth time.

Xiong Da knew Lin Nan was a “man” and was just laying there without any weird thoughts. He wasn’t the type to only like pretty faces.

But Chen Yao could hardly control himself, okay?

Tu Junhui had dashed off to sing again, completely ignoring what state Lin Nan was in.

“Dare!” Lin Nan slapped the couch, making a valiant effort to sit up, but then suddenly swayed and flopped sideways onto Chen Yao’s lap.

“Is this even a dare? Just go to the bathroom instead.” Chen Yao sighed, trying to help Lin Nan up. “Drank so much and you won’t go even once?”

Doesn’t he have magic on him…

Lin Nan didn’t know if Purification Magic would get rid of the alcohol in his system, so he kept putting it off until he absolutely couldn’t stand it, which meant he could ignore the embarrassment of being drunk and skip the restroom.

Chen Yao yanked Lin Nan up from off the couch, supporting his limp body, then turned back to Xiong Da and said, “I’m taking him to the bathroom first. You guys play without us.”

“Okay.” Xiong Da looked slightly worried about Lin Nan. “Make sure to come back. I’m afraid Lin Nan will insist on more drinks.”

While Lin Nan didn’t seem like the type to turn into a raging drunk, who knew how things could spiral into disorderly drinking until he passed out cold?

That would be a disaster to deal with.

Chen Yao helped Lin Nan out of the room, glancing up to find the KTV hallway completely deserted.

That’s when he realized it was late at night.

“Chen Yao~”

Lin Nan’s voice was soft and fuzzy, practically draped over Chen Yao.

“What is it?” he looked down at Lin Nan, noticing that despite Lin Nan being forced into a jacket, the close quarters made it impossible not to notice Lin Nan’s chest rising and falling.

Coupled with the sweet milky scent wafting in the air, the combination of smell and softness instantly ignited something primal within him.

This was bound to stir up some innocent masculine thoughts.

“Why is it so empty out here?” Lin Nan half-opened his eyes, hazily scanning the hallway.

Lin Nan had planned to unlock some magic through Truth or Dare but hadn’t anticipated his dorm mates being so restrained. No one had asked for a romantic confession or anything like that.

But pretending to be drunk and confessing to Chen Yao felt too much like drunkenly spilling secrets, and if the others misunderstood, their dorm life could take a nosedive.

So he cooperatively left the room with Chen Yao, wanting to find a more populated place to confess.

However, as they made their way from the private room to the restroom door, they didn’t encounter a single soul.

Was it all for nothing?

Lin Nan sighed heavily, then suddenly noticed Chen Yao had stopped in his tracks.

“Which one do you think… the men’s or women’s bathroom is better?”

Chen Yao stood frozen in front of the bathroom door, glancing left at the men’s and right at the women’s: “If we’re outside, isn’t the women’s preferable?”

“Men’s.” Lin Nan weakly murmured.

“Fair enough, I’d get labeled a pervert going into the women’s,” Chen Yao chuckled. “Entering the men’s? That’s on you, buddy.”

He was about to lead Lin Nan into the men’s room when he suddenly heard footsteps behind him; a drunken guest was also heading towards the restroom.

Chen Yao’s body instantly stiffened. He halted his steps toward the men’s restroom, looking utterly helpless, “Why don’t you just go to the women’s by yourself?”

Lin Nan, of course, immediately refused, even going weak in the knees and wrapping his arms around Chen Yao, literally hanging off of him.

Though he wasn’t exactly petite, Chen Yao’s face flushed bright red from the pressure.

Is this guy trying to seduce me on purpose?

Since Lin Nan refused to go alone, Chen Yao couldn’t exactly waltz into the women’s room; he could only stand by and wait for the guy to leave.

“Why do you have to drink so much?” He lowered his head but suddenly realized Lin Nan was also tilting his head back, gazing at him with those enticing eyes.

There was a glimmer of mist in Lin Nan’s gaze, his cheeks flushed, and his slightly parted lips radiated an aura of vulnerability that made him seem like he was inviting Chen Yao to make a move.

He froze, almost unable to resist the urge to kiss him.

“Don’t look at me like that,” his face turned beet red; he awkwardly shifted his gaze, cleared his throat, and awkwardly tried to redirect his thoughts.

Just then, the customer from earlier walked out of the restroom, and Lin Nan suddenly rose onto his tiptoes, leaning close to Chen Yao’s ear.

“Chen… Chen Yao, I…”

“Yeah?” The breath from Lin Nan, tinged with alcohol, tickled his ear, and he turned to see their faces were uncomfortably close.

“… Like you!”
