Chapter 5: Keeping the Promise
After washing each other’s hair and scrubbing each other’s bodies, Night Star and Night Lan plopped into the bathtub, relishing the rare leisure time.
Indeed, aside from sleeping together, nothing beats sharing a hot bath in terms of comfort.
With skin-to-skin contact and enjoying their little world in such a cozy space where no one could see them, the vibe was absolutely fantastic.

After about ten minutes, the two little lolis emerged from the tub, steam wafting around them, with damp strands of hair sticking to their fair, smooth faces.
In the warm mist, the two lolis stepped out of the bathtub, revealing their delicate and slender collarbones.
“Wow~ It feels like all my exhaustion has been liberated~ I missed this feeling so much after a month.”
Night Lan sighed dramatically, then strolled over to grab a towel before returning to dry off Night Star’s damp skin.
She looked just like an older sister helping her little sister.
In reality, they were just the same person.
After Night Lan finished drying Night Star, she turned around for Night Star to help dry her off.
The two of them found it quite convenient and enjoyable.
Even though Night Star Lan could use the Wish Machine’s power to wipe away the droplets, that would be much too boring.
After all, cozy moments like these were best enjoyed through affectionate actions.
As for how to dry their hair, that would be the Wish Machine’s job.
By the way, wishing for their wet hair to dry wouldn’t have any negative impacts on Night Star Lan.
Those normal little wishes wouldn’t randomly make Night Star Lan feel sleepy!

A few minutes later.
Once donned in their pajamas, Night Star and Night Lan synchronized as they walked out of the bathroom, only to see Eypar floating around by the door.
“Eypar, what are you doing here?”
Eypar snapped back to reality, her little tuft of hair perking up in shock.
“Oh no! I forgot to play a prank on Night Star and Night Lan! How about you do the whole thing over again?”
“Hmm…”
Night Star Lan couldn’t help but ponder at Eypar’s foolishly pleading face.
“Living under the same roof as such a silly ghost isn’t going to turn me dumb, right?”
“I heard that! I’m a rare genius ghost beauty, not a foolish ghost! Apologize, kora!”
“Ahhhh~ So troublesome~”
Night Star Lan straight-up ignored the annoying ghost girl and lazily flopped onto her bed.
“I’m going to sleep; if you keep making noise, I’ll have Little Lian hang you up.”
“Ugh.”
Eypar suddenly gave in.
“Cunning Night Star, how could you threaten me like that? I’ll remember this grudge.”
She was still quite scared of Little Lian.
After returning to Huaxia, Lianhua had handed Little Lian over to Night Star.
Not only that, but she had specifically advised placing Little Lian near the head of the bed.
Saying something about the perspective being better that way.

Then Night Star Lan quickly tossed aside her random thoughts and lay on the bed, staring blankly.

That she might be able to fulfill the Dream Narrator’s wish now.

The Dream Narrator would provide information about the First Generation Star Eclipses to help when she inevitably faced them.
And Night Star Lan had promised to grant him one wish.
That wish was to see the Origin of the Stars.
Previously, Night Star Lan couldn’t fulfill his wish because she didn’t have enough power.
But now that her psychic abilities had leveled up to B, it seemed like it was worth a try.
With that thought, Night Star Lan got ready for sleep, also turning off the lamp beside her bed.
“Sleeping~”
The room quickly fell silent.
Eypar, even with her love for pranks, was well-behaved and didn’t disturb Night Star Lan’s rest.
“Good night.”
As the perspective shifted.
Night Star Lan’s consciousness entered the dream world.
It was a universal dreamscape constructed by the Dream Narrator’s power.
In this place, Night Star Lan could summon the legendary Supernova Star Eclipses—the Dream Narrator.
She didn’t waste any time and got right to it.
“Calling Dream Narrator! The most adorable and invincible Night Star Lan requests a meeting!!”
At her summon, two figures swiftly appeared in Night Star Lan’s dream.
It was indeed the Dream Narrator and the Dream Pursuer Yin.
“What do you want this time? Did the Uncrowned Wanderer and Hilo come to bother you?”
Upon hearing that, Night Star Lan puffed up her cheeks.
“Don’t you dare mention them! I called you here to try fulfilling your wish.”
“So soon?”
The Dream Narrator’s calm expression finally showed a hint of change, clearly surprised.
He thought Night Star Lan’s growth would take at least decades or even centuries.
Clearly, that didn’t turn out to be the case.
Night Star Lan, however, didn’t want to explain much.
“Let’s not get into details! I want to give it a try. If it works, we’re square. If it doesn’t, I’ll continue owing you, how about that?”
The Dream Narrator’s face returned to its previous calmness.
“Fine, let’s give it a shot. If you can fulfill this wish, I’ll still share information about the other First Generation Star Eclipses with you; after all, there are nine in total, and you haven’t met most of them yet.”
“Ugh, let’s hope I don’t bump into them in the future…”
Night Star Lan muttered as she began to activate the Wish Machine’s abilities.
“Please transport the Dream Narrator next to the Origin of the Stars.”
As soon as the words left her lips, the Wish Machine promptly responded to her wish.
In the next second, the Dream Narrator’s figure vanished, leaving behind a perplexed Dream Pursuer Yin.
Could it be… she wasn’t part of the Dream Narrator?
Just as Dream Pursuer Yin began to wonder, she suddenly noticed the two little lolis nearby had collapsed, looking utterly drained.
She floated over and squatted down to observe their condition.
Right now… they seemed to just be in a deep sleep.
They lacked even the ability to dream.
It appeared that fulfilling the Dream Narrator’s wish was a bit of a stretch.
With that, Dream Pursuer Yin decided to stay by Night Star Lan’s side, waiting for them to awaken from their slumber.
This might take a while.
The process could be quite boring.

Dream Pursuer Yin was already accustomed to idling around in dreams.

The Dream Narrator’s figure appeared in a different space.
He glanced around the surroundings, as if recalling something.
“I remember… this seems to be the Uncrowned Wanderer’s territory.”
Well, that wasn’t particularly important right now.
Night Star Lan’s wish should have been to send him to the Origin of the Stars.
So the question now was, where exactly was the Origin of the Stars?
The Dream Narrator turned his gaze to the glowing orb.
“Has it taken on this form?”
There was only this glowing orb nearby emitting a familiar aura.
Adding in Night Star Lan’s wish, the answer became clear.
Just then, three figures suddenly appeared in the hall.
It was the Uncrowned Wanderer, Hilo, and Oya—three Star Eclipses.
“Dream Narrator? Long time no see. Since you’re here, that means… that glowing orb really is the incarnation of the Origin of the Stars.”
The Dream Narrator turned to face the three and fell silent for a moment.
“You guys are still playing at being little kids, huh? I don’t recall you having such an obsession.”
