### Chapter 19 A Hilarious Scene
When they found out that there was a Star Eclipse nearby.
Mo Rabbit was quite surprised.
“Is this really happening? There’s so much we still don’t know. If you don’t do divinations, you just go with the flow of fate blindly.”
Mo Rabbit got up and decided to go find whatever was emitting the Star Eclipse energy.
She wouldn’t intervene herself, because doing so might expose her presence. Just observing would be enough.
Besides, even if she didn’t need to act, someone else was probably going to handle it anyway.
A little while later, Mo Tu successfully located the source of the Star Eclipse aura.
It turned out to be an inferior Star Eclipse, invisible to human eyes, seemingly in the form of an adult. Right now, it was slowly approaching the beach, looking quite lost and lacking the wisdom and rationality of higher-level Star Eclipses.
This was a common flaw among inferior Star Eclipses.
Its appearance here is probably due to some Obsession.
A Star Eclipse like this wouldn’t have strong pollution. Although it could affect humans, it might not be too severe.
At least, that depends on what it plans to do.
“Eh, I’m bored anyway. Let’s see what happens.”
Mo Rabbit found a better seat to observe the Star Eclipse Embodiment from afar as a way to pass the time.
The Star Eclipse would most likely be discovered soon by either the Star Holders or the Night Watchers.
And then, its fate would probably be to be swiftly eliminated—there’s no avoiding that outcome.
Unless an unexpected character interferes.
Just as Mo Rabbit was thinking this, someone finally noticed the Star Eclipse near the beach.
The tourist area by the beach was crowded, so naturally, there would also be law enforcement agencies or hidden experts present.
Not to mention the Night Watchers themselves.
Hidden among the public, Star Holders were relatively common.
There might even be Star Holders stronger than most Night Watchers.
“Aah~ Someone’s stepping forward.”
Mo Rabbit smiled with interest, watching as a deep blue-haired youth approached the inferior Star Eclipse.
From his aura, he didn’t look weak at all.
Switching perspectives:
A deserted corner of the beach.
Rarely anyone visited this spot.
When people chose to stay at the beach, they usually preferred spots not far from the tide. But this place was far from any sea activity and had no recreational facilities or shops.
People might come here for a casual walk.
In a way, this place was perfect for small-scale battles. It would keep innocent bystanders safe.
The deep blue-haired youth faced the inferior Star Eclipse. His silver eyes seemed to penetrate through everything.
“My eyes will see through your true nature.”
“My hand will cleanse your evil thoughts.”
“My sword will shatter your will.”
Muttering these lines as if they were incantations, the youth said,
“Reveal your Obsession, Unknown Star Eclipse. If you mean to harm these people, I shall fulfill my inner justice and cut you down!”
The lesser Star Eclipse looked confused, clearly not intending to converse.
Humans rarely had a desire to interact after transforming into Star Eclipses.
Revealing their Own Obsessions was even more unlikely.
They only cared about whether they would be stopped.
“Are you here to stop me?”
This declaration instantly established hostilities.
The youth realized the Star Eclipse couldn’t communicate, his eyes filled with pity.
“Really, huh? As expected. Creatures like you, dependent on their Obsessions, end up like this. When will this change happen?”
From eavesdropping, Mo Rabbit deduced something of note.
The youth seemed genuinely concerned about Star Eclipses, recognizing they weren’t all bad.
He understood something about them.
High-level Star Eclipses might not need pity, but low-level ones definitely did.
Low-level Star Eclipses were like invisible members of the Star Eclipse community, easily dispatched by powerful Star Holders.
Their Obsessions were instinctive, perhaps wanting to make amends for past grievances.
Which could be seen as their life’s wish.
Maybe the young man saw this tragedy and felt pity for the low-level Star Eclipses.
“Eeh~ That’s an interesting one.”
Mo Rabbit found him intriguing. He could be a potential observation subject.
But judging by his actions, pity towards low-level Star Eclipses wouldn’t prevent him from eliminating rogue ones.
This wasn’t the first time he had done this.
And he probably wasn’t a Night Watcher; maybe more like a roving knight of justice. Quite an amusing character.
Back at the scene, an ethereal yet tangible sword materialized in the deep blue-haired youth’s hand, possibly his attack method.
Mo Rabbit sensed a strong aura emanating from the blade—a powerful artifact.
The inferior Star Eclipse probably wouldn’t last long against him.
“What a predictable outcome?”
Rumor had it.
She kept her eyes fixed on the unfolding scene.
As expected, the lower Star Eclipse attacked.
Star Eclipses harbored strong hostility toward anything hindering their Obsessions.
Anyone who tried stopping them was their enemy.
Simple cause for conflict.
The deep blue-haired youth lifted his True Sword, ignoring the Star Eclipse pollution, showing no fear toward the attack.
Judging by its weak aura, this was a new Star Eclipse, and low-grade at that. Even a competent Star Holder could easily destroy it.
How could such a weakling stand a chance against absolute strength?
“One last time, what is your Obsession? Maybe I can help?”
The inferior Star Eclipse let out a mindless growl, its response.
“Is that so?”
The youth hid his sympathy, bringing his sword down.
Clang!
The inferior Star Eclipse collapsed to its knees, drained of all power. Its aura faded away.
The young man’s blade had shattered its will—or rather, its Obsession.
With the collapse of its will, it would vanish—such was the fate of Star Eclipses.
Seeing this, the youth turned away, unable to watch the aftermath.
Before he could take a few steps, though, a voice seethed with suppressed anger interrupted him.
“What are you doing!?”
The youth turned to face another newcomer.
This one apparently just arrived, responding to the disturbance.
Mo Rabbit, still lurking nearby, couldn’t hide her surprise.
“Whoa~ An unexpected turn of events. This is getting more interesting.”
Mo Rabbit felt like she was seeing a fun toy.
She relished any twist of events that kept things lively.
