I Don’t Want to Be Turned into a Girl by Magic – Chapter 641

Extra Chapter

1. First Encounter

==============================

Today marks the day new students report for school!

The narrow street in front of the school was choked with a flood of vehicles. Newbies—filled with dreams of middle school adventures—excitedly trailed their parents toward the school gate.

A boy, already registered, stood on the corridor outside his classroom. He leaned over the railing, gazing at the sea of heads below, when suddenly he spotted a petite figure trudging alone, apart from the crowd.

While all the other kids had their parents cosplaying as bodyguards, this little boy was like a lone unicorn in a field of horses.

Chen Yao didn’t think much of it and quickly shifted his attention to the pretty girls in flowery dresses.

First things first: let’s set a goal—find a beautiful girl in middle school!

Just then, a grown-up—clearly not a student—popped up beside him, patted his shoulder, and asked cheerfully, “You’re a student in this class, right? Get in there for the homeroom!”

“Uh-huh.” Chen Yao glanced up at the teacher and then zapped into the classroom faster than a speeding b*llet.

Inside the class, only two-thirds of the seats were filled. These students had already registered downstairs, and unless someone pulled a grand disappearing act, Chen Yao was about to spend the next three years with these folks, learning and living together.

His gaze, however, had other plans; it landed on a girl in the front row wearing leggings and sporting a ponytail.

Whoa, those legs are skinny! And that b*tt? Definitely doing dance classes!

At a tender age, he’d already earned his stripes as a leg enthusiast, but alas! When the girl turned around, reality slapped him in the face.

Not bad, but, huh, not exactly a beauty either.

At only twelve or thirteen, he was still just a naive boy smitten with long legs. He glanced around the class again, but all he saw were girls in pants or long skirts that obscured their legs, or, let’s be honest, some awkward-looking ones that weren’t easy on the eyes.

Looks like he’ll have to charm girls from other classes instead.

Students continued to trickle in through the front door, escorted by anxious parents loitering in the hallway, peering through windows to check on their little darlings and sizing up the “bad boys” lurking about, worrying that their precious sons might get bullied.

Just then, Chen Yao noticed that the previously lonely boy had also appeared at the classroom door.

The boy’s cheeks were as gray as a rainy day, and his big round eyes showed a hint of wariness as he searched for a vacant seat.

Unfortunately, he was too late; all the double desks were taken. Eventually, he hovered next to Chen Yao and tentatively asked, “Can I sit here?”

Noticing the flush on his face, Chen Yao encouraged him by patting the seat beside him and asked with curiosity, “What’s your name?”

“Lin Nan.”

Lin Nan seemed a bit shy, as if just engaging in conversation with a stranger had drained his entire courage reserve. Once seated, he hunched his shoulders, looking down and keeping quiet as if auditioning for a statue role.

He was a half-head shorter than Chen Yao, and his skinny arms poked out from his short sleeves like they were auditioning for a “Got Milk?” campaign.

“I’m Chen Yao. Do you play CF?” Chen Yao was a chatterbox and leaned in for the k*ll.

“Nope.”

Lin Nan looked up at him suspiciously, sliding his chair a smidge further away.

Not into CF? Well, guess that means you’re a bad guy in disguise! Chen Yao quickly lost interest and rested his chin in his hand, staring at the class teacher up front.

He zoned out during the teacher’s introduction, only to find himself seated in the middle of the class, while Lin Nan ended up in the second row, paired with a classmate who looked like a particularly skinny monkey.

Chen Yao caught Lin Nan’s desk mate throwing nervous glances around the room and couldn’t help but feel a tad worried for this clumsy kid.

He better not get bullied!
