Transformed Into a Fallen Princess, I Sell Nuclear Bombs at the Beginner Village – Chapter 59

Chapter 59: The Official Bandit Group

“Hey there, you… did you say you want to grab the goods?”

“Planning to take a million worth off your hands. Got a problem with that?”

Fiery Conflict Across the Sky was firm in his resolve, speaking without a hint of hesitation.

“But this…”

“I get it, just hold on a sec.”

Fiery Conflict Across the Sky dashed out of the shop, seeking a corner to cash in some serious bucks.

Of course, he wasn’t throwing around five hundred million right off the bat; he just needed to secure a ten percent deposit first.

A sum as big as five hundred million? Even he couldn’t pull that off without consulting family first.

But hey, it was just a matter of asking. He was convinced his elders would back him up wholeheartedly.

Before long, Fiery Conflict Across the Sky returned, dropped off the deposit, and sealed the deal with the shopkeeper.

When Committee Chairman Harry caught wind of this news, he was utterly flabbergasted.

A million just like that? Where did this big spender pop up from?

And to top it off, this financial wizard didn’t seem to have all the brain cells firing.

Buying something like this? Even his ten-year-old son wouldn’t pull off such a guaranteed loss!

Yet, he kept a cautious eye on the matter. The deposit was paid, but the transaction wasn’t finalized—no need to celebrate too soon!

Xu Xiaofeng, however, was blissfully unaware that half of her goods had already been snatched up.

She figured that such essential materials would sell themselves among players; little did she know, someone was playing the game way harder than her.

Meanwhile, she continued lying in wait.

Finally, she spotted her next group of players. This time, it was a quartet teaming up.

The players looked familiar; they had been trotting around Falling Leaf City like they owned the place.

Coincidentally, Fiery Conflict Across the Sky was strutting around too.

He handed out the quest as he did before.

With four people in the mix, their confidence soared, and they set off with even more gusto than him.

They returned, just as befuddled as he had been, before darting off excitedly again.

Soon, the day’s waiting session was over.

With no desire to linger longer, she decided that those who arrived late could deal with it themselves.

She had completed a total of twenty missions during her time lying in wait, and the first batch of players had deep pockets—just a quick glance told her they each had thousands in gold coins.

Except for one player, who stared at the mission and hesitated, whining and questioning about everything under the sun.

Xu Xiaofeng wasn’t in the mood to coddle him.

“You wanna complain, do it somewhere else. If you don’t want to participate, hit the road.” She snatched back the mission, sending him packing.

Yet he continued to blubber and plead for the mission.

Is he asking for trouble?

Of course, our sweet little angel ultimately handed out the mission.

Money isn’t everything, but when someone’s throwing a pity party, it’s hard to ignore their tears and suffering.

As time ticked away, Xu Xiaofeng stealthily exited the city, heading straight for the so-called bandit hideout.

Inside the cave, Morey and Joyce were tallying up the loot from their day of banditry.

“Total haul: sixty-seven thousand gold coins.”

They didn’t ask for anything other than gold coins—not even bothering to round up the cents.

“That’s enough to set up a nice home!”

“Not just a home; we could even build a mansion! And still have enough left over to give all one hundred of us a nice chunk of land!”

But Morey interrupted their daydreaming: “Hold up, those aren’t ours! We gotta give Miss Wind ninety percent!”

“Wait, wasn’t it supposed to be a fifty-fifty split?”

“Yeah!”

“You guys have no idea!” Morey tapped his head with his fist, “We didn’t know those Outsiders would be so generous! Now that we do, we can’t just split it like that. What do we even do to deserve this much money?”

“Uh… good point.”

Suddenly, a young but commanding voice chimed in from the cave entrance: “No way, agreements were made! We stick to the deal!”

Xu Xiaofeng strolled in, eyeing the bandits and then inspecting the golden coins on the floor. “Guys, I didn’t do much; just rode the wave of their generosity.”

Did I really lift a finger? Not really. As for affection points? That’s just about cashing in on my charm.

The players hadn’t maxed out her affection meter; how could she set more traps for them if she didn’t play nice?

After a little back and forth squabbling, Morey tearfully accepted half of the loot. But he set ground rules: if anything like this happens again, they would only take ten percent.

No choice; that was just too much money. They’d never seen this kind of coin before.

He had no clue how Adventurers made such cash, and even if he did, he wouldn’t envy them.

Being an Adventurer sounds fancy, but really it’s just risking your life for a paycheck; no matter how much you earn, you’ve got to earn your keep!

“Speaking of next time, I have a suggestion!” Xu Xiaofeng cleared her throat and spoke earnestly.

“Please, Miss Wind, go ahead.”

“Today was just the first batch; there are plenty more to come. I’m planning to keep this money-making… I mean this ‘service’ going.”

“Huh?”

“This… good service, can continue?”

The villagers were confused but impressed.

They didn’t understand, but as long as Xu Xiaofeng was on board, they were good.

No stealing or robbing—just a little skit and some entry fees. Pretty reasonable, right?

Who cares if the actors can act? The real question is, will the audience buy into it? Yup!

Xu Xiaofeng had a principle: she only snagged cash from the well-off.

“Express Delivery” was for wealthy buyers, the Sunfruit was for those with pockets deep enough, and these quests were only for those with enough gold.

What about the broke folks? This high-end play just wasn’t their scene. Best stick to brick-lifting; they might even stumble upon a lucky break someday!

“Since we’re going full steam ahead, we absolutely must go legit and professional!”

“Yay!!”

Everyone clapped enthusiastically. Even if they didn’t quite grasp the whole ‘legitimizing’ and ‘professionalizing’ thing, they knew Miss Wind was right on the money.

Somebody thought for a moment, then brought over a table: “Miss Wind, stand up and address us!”

Xu Xiaofeng flashed a polite smile but honestly hopped on up.

Once she stood there, her perspective shifted—like gazing out over an expansive new world.

“So, what I’m saying is, we’re not just villagers anymore; this is our new profession! Everyone knows that in this line of work, the returns are huge! If we all play by the rules, financial freedom isn’t far off, and our relatives can move into the big house!”

“Yeah! This beats sitting in the fields making pennies!”

“Right? If outsiders knew we were earning like this, they’d think we were criminals!”

“Cough cough… not so loud.” Xu Xiaofeng cleared her throat. “Let’s keep this under wraps; it’s our little secret.”

“Now that everyone’s on board, let’s finalize things. Starting today, we officially form a team. And our team name will be…”

“Bandit Group!!!”

“Huh?” Xu Xiaofeng blinked.

“Miss Wind is our captain!”

“Absolutely!”

“Perfect!”

“Wait! No!”

“Captain! Captain!”

Xu Xiaofeng’s protests were drowned out by their cheers…

And at the same moment, the system notification rang out.

Ding! Rare World Quest: The Tragedy of Blue Moon City, Stage One Completed.
