After a grueling three-hour sprinting straight through the outer city, they’ve finally arrived!
But in the inner city, the monster density has shot up like a balloon at a kid’s birthday party. Even if players are just strolling on the main road, they still have to keep their guard up against monster hordes popping up from both sides like surprise party guests.
The players’ progress inevitably slowed down.
Ultimately, the Huaxia Server strategy team decided to deploy two thousand vanguard warriors to charge ahead at full speed, while the rest provided backup, making their way through the inner city first—a sensible plan, right?
There’s a fierce competition among players, even within the Huaxia Server community; everyone wants to snag that coveted first… or at least second place.
First place might require a bit more luck than skill.
Just as Yuliya leaped off a cliff and spotted the BOSS in the Illusion Forest, they found themselves at the gatekeeper BOSS of the inner city area.
Once they conquer this bad boy, it’s straight into the Royal City Area, aka the BOSS zone.
As players prepped for the BOSS fight, they sent some sneaky little squads to sneak through a gap in the walls into the Royal City Area for a little recon on the BOSS.
What do you know? The BOSS not only saw them coming, but it was ready to party an instant later.

The BOSS mumbled something completely incomprehensible—if only Yuliya were here, she would’ve understood.
“Human scent.”
And before the players could even register what happened, their health bars plummeted to zero, their bodies disintegrating into particles of dust.
The entire squad was wiped out, and even the backup team, who thought they were playing it safe, got wiped out too. Oops!
Meanwhile, the main group, still busily hammering away at the city gate’s guardian BOSS, was blissfully unaware of the disaster.
Watching that blue-headed boss slowly lose health made their moods lift like a hot air balloon at dawn.
This guardian BOSS wasn’t too shabby; Yuliya would probably rate it a solid 1 Sogriede if she were here, proving it’s worthy of being one of the final BOSS’s elite commanders.
There’s still four similar gate guardians left, fitting the “Four Heavenly Kings” format perfectly when you toss Sogriede in.
Now, switching back to Yuliya.
Though she said she wouldn’t fight, her body was like, “Hold on, let’s check the situation nearby!”
First thing that popped into her mind was that there might be some sort of special mechanism.
You know, like breaking a contraption to undo the BOSS’s invincibility, or using some device to deal hefty damage directly to the BOSS—classic video game logic.
The Three-tailed Demon Fox wasn’t perched on a real mountain peak; it was more like a gentle slope.
The slope’s side was spacious and not too steep—totally walkable.
But the back? Straight down a vertical cliff!
Normally, players would take the easy way up the slope, so there were plenty of critters hanging around that BOSS as minor obstacles.
Those tiny nuisances were both a barrier and a warning system; no movement? BOSS is napping peacefully.
But surprise, surprise! Who knew someone could sneak up from the cliff behind?
Now, Yuliya wasn’t about to poke that BOSS’s backside, but other monsters? Their posteriors were just begging for a sneaky attack.

The comment section erupted with people saying, “You’re this good and still playing dirty? That’s just mean, man!”
So, Yuliya slipped out of the BOSS zone, swiftly stealing points while on the lookout for the BOSS’s secret.
She’d already scouted the entire BOSS zone and found nada—back to inching forward and picking up points as she went.
The big issue? She was solo, and she loathed this kind of search mission.
With such a vast map and no GPS, finding things could take years!
After over an hour and still empty-handed, Yuliya decided to pause.
“Ugh, I need a new strategy.”
Honestly, Yuliya wasn’t completely clueless about this level 40 BOSS.
Playing true damage meant levels didn’t really matter.
But raw true damage was like chugging energy drinks—huge mana cost! With the BOSS boasting four hundred thousand health points, even if she stood there like a punching bag, by the time she ran out of mana and potions, she’d barely scratch ten thousand.
Just like that first showdown with Sogriede.
Plus, this BOSS made Sogriede look like a weakling in hand-to-hand combat; the stats were off the charts.
Adding level suppression to the mix? Taking a hit from this beast? Instant d*ath.
“Sigh, if only the strategy team could swing by, maybe we could take down this BOSS together.”
Of course, even if they did manage to take it down, the team would get wiped clean.
Due to that pesky level suppression, their damage output would be laughable—just dragging out the fight until Yuliya can unleash real damage.
If they did beat the BOSS, the points would mostly funnel to Yuliya, leaving the team little more than roadkill—nobody wants that.
“So after ruminating, the biggest hassle is definitely the lack of damage… I seriously need to up my game.”
“Wait, a lightbulb moment… there’s a chance for output!”
Yuliya suddenly beamed, struck by a possible, daring method to try.

No one else knew there was a cliff lurking behind there—people don’t just stroll into danger.
Only she, who came from that direction, was clued in.
If she fell from that height? Yuliya would be smushed into Yuliya jam—while the BOSS could fall and get wrecked too.
With a resolve solid as granite, Yuliya set about her experiment.
She cautiously lured a fox-type elite monster, carefully keeping noise to a minimum.
The elite monster was utterly confused, thinking, “Who’s this little punk?”
But hey, looking pretty tasty!
The chase ensued, with Yuliya skillfully navigating through the landscape.
Steering clear of other monsters and avoiding detection in the BOSS zone, she managed to drag a beast three times her size to the cliff’s edge.
And then…
“Down you go!”
The tiny carrot unleashed a massive energy wave, sending the big fox pitching off into the abyss.
She made sure it flew far enough to completely avoid bouncing back onto the cliffside.
After a nailbiting ten seconds, Yuliya finally saw her score rise by a couple of hundred points.
It plummeted to its doom—perfect execution!
After nearly an hour and multiple trials later, Yuliya unraveled some patterns.
Now, she was all set to get ready for her special BOSS-level-up battle.
“Level 40, huh? Level suppression, you say? Well, dead is dead, right?!”
