Transformed Into a Fallen Princess, I Sell Nuclear Bombs at the Beginner Village – Chapter 174

Chapter 174: Final BOSS? What a Big Ruckus!

They spent some time figuring out the BOSS’s rhythm.

Kneel and do nothing for a minute, then stand up for half a minute, and so on in a loop.

When the BOSS kneels, it’s completely still—can take a beating without even flinching. But when it stands, it goes berserk, wilder than before!

Upon closer inspection, they discovered that the BOSS’s level dropped to 40, a solid 5 levels down!

Sure, level 40 is still intimidating, but it’s not locked to “1” damage anymore. A hit could do ten points or so, which means the damage output skyrocketed over tenfold!

And, with a level 40 BOSS, the tank might survive a basic auto-attack!

Not to mention, the BOSS’s health dropped from 1.2 million to a cool million!

The oddity with the BOSS appeared after a meteor zoomed by, generally coming from the direction of the Illusion Forest.

They opened their maps again.

Whoa! The Illusion Forest had been cleared!

Those guys over there are really something!

They quickly launched three big fireballs into the sky—signal for gathering.

Once everyone assembled, the showdown with the final BOSS officially began.

Now, nearly 20,000 players from Green Shade City gathered at the intersection of the inner city and the BOSS area.

That’s a whopping number! With such an overwhelming crowd, an effective attack group was hard to manage all at once.

They decided to pick out the ranged attackers, about 3,000 of them, and split them into ten groups. They would queue up to attack.

As the BOSS kneeled, the first group of players jumped in to unleash chaos. They attacked for 40 seconds, then swiftly retreated for the next group to prep.

Despite the BOSS’s massive size, it didn’t stand a chance against this ocean of players.

Plus, they had to ensure enough room to retreat; spreading out completely wasn’t feasible. Too many bodies could cause a mess, and anyone lingering too long would meet an untimely demise at the BOSS’s hands.

This plan was practically foolproof, ensuring output while keeping everyone safe.

Every group of players got 15 minutes to naturally restore their mana, with no issues in sustainability.

The rest kept a few people to rotate in and out, while most players dove back into the inner city to explore.

If things went smoothly, they’d whittle down the BOSS in about an hour.

But as everyone knew, surprises were part of the game.

Retreats weren’t always timely, leading to casualties—some folks liked to dash early, while others tried to squeeze out a bit more damage, and following instructions was not everyone’s strong suit.

Some had quick reflexes, others moved like molasses. Often, the exit was mysteriously blocked, and those behind would get squished by the BOSS’s big ol’ paw!

Ultimately, the problem boiled down to players not feeling enough pressure.

Right now, this BOSS was just taking hits without fighting back—zero pressure, comfy couch vibes.

Once real danger appeared, everyone would fall in line like good little soldiers.

Meanwhile, as the BOSS’s health dwindled, its actions started changing.

What was once a minute and a half of kneeling followed by 30 seconds of madness became a balanced 1.5 minutes of each.

When the health hit 60%, both phases were reduced to just a minute.

Down to 40%, kneeling only lasted 40 seconds.

And just like that, the pressure was on, and the chaos started to lessen.

Yet, the BOSS’s health loss was also slowing down.

By the time Yuliya arrived, the BOSS was sitting at 31% health.

She teleported out of the Illusion Forest, landing right in between the Forest and Green Shade City.

This saved her heaps of time, getting her here in just an hour.

Sticking to her usual routine, she started off by hiding a distance away to observe the situation.

After gleaning some intel on the BOSS’s moves, and hearing gossip from other players, it seemed like this BOSS was going down.

Just to be safe, she timed her entry with the BOSS’s kneeling phase, vaulting over the wall into the BOSS area to witness the action firsthand.

And then…

So, this is the Undead King, Ronsfael, is it?

Hiding the final BOSS’s key item on the second BOSS? Quite the twist!

Maybe the second BOSS’s loot is up for grabs on the third one, but luckily Yuliya didn’t have to hunt down the third BOSS.

Well, one way or another, they were going to deal with it, and now, it looked like the final BOSS was going down.

Wait a second!

Is this really the final BOSS?

Yuliya took another look at the Undead King, eyeing the popup panel.

Name: Undead King Ronsfael (Golden Lord, Rainbow King, Nightmare Possessed)

Level: 40 (Gold Mid-tier)

Health: /

Nightmare Possessed!

Sogriede had a special state in his third phase too, called Nightmare Devotee.

This Nightmare was the root cause of Sogriede’s personality shift.

Now Ronsfael was way worse off than Sogriede ever was.

Listening to what Ronsfael muttered while kneeling, Yuliya confirmed her suspicions.

She whispered to herself, “Nightmare, huh? What a troublesome thing.”

Nightmares can also be called dream demons.

And demons can be considered gods.

This was the real deal, much like the Wolf God Fenrir’s Shadow from the Beginner’s Village.

Don’t let the fact that they crushed that Beginner’s Village BOSS lead you to think it was weak!

They took that one down thanks to an overwhelming number of players and the resurrection mechanics, throwing lives until it fell!

But in this activity dungeon, resurrection wasn’t on the table.

Plus, the BOSS was stronger now, had more tricks up its sleeve, and was harder to predict. The difficulty was definitely on the rise.

Yuliya mulled it over for a while, then snapped her fingers and concluded.

“How about… we run?”

With her high score, there was no need to brawl in Green Shade City, and certainly no need to face off with a dream demon head-on.

Sure, losing points out in the wild wasn’t as efficient, but it was safety first!

So, in a split second, she activated her teleport and took off.

Actually, she planned it just as the BOSS was ready to rise.

Running away was a strategic move, but she thought it best to take a peek first.

Some things needed to be seen up close.

After all, with so many players around, if a dream demon showed up, it wouldn’t focus on her.

And even if it did start checking her out, she was undoubtedly the fastest among the players—those slower folks are at the front!

Confirming everything was a-okay, she snuck in a few hits on the Undead King, snagging some damage points, then went to hide and watch the show.

With a level 40 BOSS, even she couldn’t deal out much damage.

There was no sneaky terrain here like last time, so she played it straight, just tacking on a little damage to earn a participation prize.

The BOSS would be worn down by the massive sea of players, while she didn’t need to put in any extra effort.

After her little damage spree, Yuliya wandered around the inner city.

She estimated she’d have plenty of time to get back before the BOSS went down.
