“Today, I, Elia of the Jade, have qualified in the trials of my ancestors, successfully claiming the crown, and officially inheriting the title of the 155th Emperor of the Jade Empire.”
“I shall govern according to heaven’s will, following the late emperor’s intent, and rule the nation with law. May my Jade Empire thrive, bringing peace and prosperity for all!”
As her voice faded, golden light and purple energy poured into Elia, enhancing her power step by step.
In the distance, clouds began to swirl and gather, while grass and trees danced with the wind.
They seemed to be welcoming the birth of a new emperor.
Meanwhile, all types of magical beasts were cowering, trembling, and rushing away in panic.
Finally, a distinct “crack!” sounded like thunder from the heavens, shattering the clouds.
A powerful wave erupted, spreading forth from Elia, instantly overwhelming all in Emerald City and within dozens of miles.
The NPCs had knelt down long ago, and the players could no longer withstand the pressure, dropping to their knees.
In the area, all types of magical beasts exploded on the spot, turning to ashes like cannon fire celebrating the new emperor’s ascendance.
“Wow!” Yuliya exclaimed, “Sister seems to have become really powerful!”
Edward nodded, “With the title of emperor, she instantly broke through from the Emerald level to legendary. This talent is unprecedented in the history of the Jade Empire.”
“Whoa~ Sister is that amazing…”
“What? Are you jealous now? You’re not bad either. If you inherited the throne, you might even have a bigger leap than Elia.”
“No, no, I really can’t. I’ll just take my time and do it slowly.”
Edward rubbed Yuliya’s head with a smile. “Good! This mindset is far more important than breaking through to legendary. It will take you further. Elia might get shackled by the throne and stop here.”
