Chapter 295: The Girl’s Wish Is Actually…
“Exactly. Lord Astathin said this would be useful to you.”
“Why do you have dragon scales?”
The mythic-level dragon scales instantly made Yuliya think of that dragon.
“They were gifted to you by Lord Astathin, but I’m not aware of the details.”
Yuliya stared at the dragon scales shimmering with golden flecks for a long while before asking, “What’s your relationship with the ‘Dragon’ that controls time?”
Lofini half-closed her eyes, waited a moment, then reopened them to answer, “Hostile.”
“Hostile…”
Yuliya murmured.
“But in my memory, it seems like a long time ago, the ‘Dragons’ and your elves were on the same side.”
Still thinking about that dream in the Ruinous Country.
Dragons, elves, angels, demons—fantasy creatures on one side, with all sorts of animals and creepy crawlies on the other.
Lofini thought for a moment and then shook her head. “In my memory, that has never happened; we’ve always been hostile.”
“Alright then.” Yuliya and Lofini locked eyes, hoping to decipher something from her expression.
But unfortunately, it was all a bust; Lofini seemed to have zero personality.
Eventually, she sighed, “Well, I’ll believe it for now.”
Who knows how much time has passed since that dream—how the situation evolved after that is anyone’s guess.
For example, the “Dragons,” who should be in opposition, are currently invading human territory alongside wolves, snakes, and foxes, and it seems they maintain a cooperative relationship to this day.
Faction separation is often like that—there are no permanent enemies or friends, just conflicting or cooperating interests.
Now that the elves have given their answer, Yuliya can only accept it for the time being.
“By the way, just curious, are bl**d elves part of your kin?”
The Nightmare God Yekis belongs to the bl**d elf race.
“According to ancient texts, the former bl**d elves were also subjects of Lord Astathin but betrayed him long ago and have since established themselves, so they’re not considered kin anymore.”
“So, what is Lord Astathin’s divine status?”
“We generally don’t refer to him as a god, nor does he call himself such. He calls himself the Original Elf.”
“Got it. Thank you for the clarification.”
Yuliya silently thanked Astathin in her heart.
From Lofini’s words, it could be inferred that Astathin might be on par with the “Dragons.”
Ignoring power levels for now—Yuliya wasn’t sure about either side—she thought that with enough qualifications, perhaps many questions could be answered.
It seems that there’s more than an 80% chance that the elves are on the same side as her!
This is fantastic news!
“I’m good, so what’s next?”
Yuliya looked at Lofini.
This is the dungeon, and Lofini is the final boss!
Lofini replied with a stony expression, “The challenge can continue.”
Ehhh…
“I’m just a shadow here; do whatever you like, no need to hold back.”
Lofini spread her arms wide as if inviting her to choose.
Hey, hey, hey! That’s not right! What you’re saying sounds really sketchy, pure nonsense!
I meant challenge, not whatever you’re thinking!
We are allies now, so why fight?
So, Yuliya waved her hand, “See ya.”
Then she just straight-up exited the dungeon.
Smooth move.
This elf, though pretty and a big sister type, with just a tad less ahem going on than Elia, seems to be a total airhead.
In short, she’s got a vibe that clicks.
But man, the stuff she says is a bit risky.
Not worth annoying her; time to bail.
After exiting the dungeon, Yuliya even searched the forums and, sure enough, found numerous wild discussions.
Even a boss that could knock you down with one slap—if they’re good-looking enough, anything is possible.
Common sense is overruled by attractiveness; beauty is justice!
Once Yuliya exited, she didn’t have a specific goal and began her adventure through the forest.
She checked out plants, animals, and monsters, researching any special connections, and hoping for some good luck to stumble across treasures.
Meanwhile, Edward and Alisa arrived at the internal city’s food street.
“You mean you brought little Yuliya here?”
Alisa, with a regal attitude, questioned an unknown noble nearby.
The noble nodded vigorously. “Yes, Your Highness. That little… lady claimed to be an ambassador from the Jade Emperor Kingdom, so I didn’t dare slack off and brought her here.”
“Alright, you can leave now.”
“Yes, Your Highness!”
Once the noble left, Alisa leaned in closer to Edward. “Lord Edward! Little Yuliya is probably just hungry and out for food; she didn’t do anything wrong.”
Her demeanor was now a world apart from when talking to the noble.
Anyone unfamiliar with the scene would be thoroughly shocked, but those in the know understood this was her true nature.
Edward surveyed the long street and shook his head. “Let’s keep looking.”
I know that girl hasn’t done anything bad; I’m more aware than you are.
She must have caused some trouble first, then got hungry, and now just wants a place to eat. After eating, she’ll continue her shenanigans.
“Make sure your hood is up; there are a lot of people around, especially since outsiders are causing chaos. Be careful to protect yourself.”
“Yes! Lord Edward!”
Lord Edward is concerned about me! He cares!
Alisa felt warm inside.
Today, her relationship with Lord Edward has made remarkable progress!

Go, Alisa!
The two headed for the food street.
Suddenly, they bumped into someone.
It was an outsider.
Edward shifted his focus a tad more.
The outsider looked at the approaching duo and seemed like he wanted to say something but stopped, muttering, “This clearly isn’t 1.3 meters tall.”
Edward subconsciously pulled Alisa behind him.
In the end, the outsider asked, “Have you seen a girl who’s about 1.3 meters tall and wearing robes like yours?”
Edward frowned and immediately replied, “No.”
Alisa, a little curious, asked, “What’s 1.3 meters?”
“Nothing, just a bother.”
With that, the outsider turned away and left.
“Let’s go.”
Edward directly pulled Alisa and moved forward.
Alisa might not have noticed, but Edward was aware. Yuliya was roughly that height, maybe slightly taller.
“Let’s speed it up.”
“Ah! Okay!”
Alisa felt a little excited.
Lord Edward just protected me and then took my hand!
Yes, he did protect me, but that hand-holding was more like a tug on my sleeve.
But to starry-eyed fans, every little action from an idol is enchanting.
Now that our relationship has reached this point, shouldn’t the next step be to be a little more proactive?
Dress in my prettiest clothes, put on some nice makeup.
And then…
Ask to travel together?
Right, Alisa doesn’t have any ulterior motives; she simply wants to experience the world from the stories.
After all, she’s only sixteen.
