On the other side, at the northern fortress of the Jade Emperor Kingdom.
Isaac received the news that the Teleportation Array to the Golden City was now operational.
Without a moment’s hesitation, he jumped right in, and his subordinates didn’t even have time to stop him.
At first, when he reported the strange happenings in the Desert Realm to Elia, the final order he received was just to send someone to check it out.
If he didn’t use the Teleportation Array, it would take at least a day and a half to get there—a total bummer! He had no choice but to leave the issue to his royal uncle and stay put at the border.
After waiting for what felt like forever, there appeared a terrifying calamity over there.
He promptly reported it again.
This time, Elia couldn’t give him any clear instructions and handed over the decision-making power to him.
Luckily, not long after, the calamity began to dissipate, and now the Teleportation Array was back online.

The moment he caught Yuliya, Isaac felt his body sink, nearly tipping over.

Another round of chaos erupted.
Finally, Isaac managed to stand up, straightening his clothes.
After all, he was an Emerald Level powerhouse—he wouldn’t actually get hurt. Just a moment of carelessness left him completely unprepared for so much weight from these little ones.
He looked at the circle surrounding him, filled with nearly identical Yuliyas, and his head was hurting.
All this noise was only making it worse.
From the earlier incident, he confirmed this was no illusion; they were all real.

One Yuliya was already a handful; handling this many? His fate was sealed.
“Everyone, quiet down!”
A stern voice came from the crowd, commanding attention.
All the Yuliyas immediately fell silent.
Recognizing the familiar voice, Isaac felt like he’d found a lifeline and exclaimed, “Uncle!”
Edward stepped forward, and seeing Isaac completely flustered and cornered, he couldn’t help but smirk.
“Ahem!” He cleared his throat and addressed the Yuliyas, “You all can get back to your tasks; I need to talk to him for a bit.”

They replied in unison and returned to their posts.
Edward moved closer and patted Isaac’s shoulder. “Looks like you’re having a great time, huh?”
“Ugh, Uncle, please don’t tease me anymore.”
“Haha, alright. What brings you here?”
“I saw the shocking events in the Desert Realm from the border, and when I learned the Teleportation Array was back, of course, I had to come check it out.”
“Oh, that’s already been taken care of. There’s nothing to worry about here now.”
“Thank goodness.” Isaac nodded, feeling a weight lift off his chest.
But then, he noticed something was off about his uncle.
He looked much brighter, almost like he’d turned back the clock ten years!
“Uncle, did you… break through?”
“Yeah.” Edward chuckled effortlessly. “A bit of serendipity—turning calamity into fortune.”
“So, you handled the calamity?”
“Me? No way! That kind of calamity was way out of my league. It was Yuliya who took care of it.”
“Her?”
“You’ll understand once you see her. She… is a bit different now. All these here are her avatars.”
There seemed to be a complexity in Edward’s tone, prompting Isaac to frown and ask, “What’s going on with her? Is there something wrong?”
“Yes and no. It’s a mixed change, both good and bad.” Edward sighed. “She’s probably resting, and when you see her later, you’ll get it.”
Inside the palace of the Golden City, Yuliya stirred slightly.
She had slept for about half an hour, which was just enough.
Slowly, she opened her eyes, filled with a gleam of wisdom.
“Huh? Where am I?”
She looked at the unfamiliar ceiling and the white bed linens.
So, the next line should be, “You’re awake! The surgery was a success! You’re now…”
No wait! I’ve already been a girl for a while now!
With a sudden flourish, she flung the covers off like they were a dart shot into the air.
But not too fast!
“Hey! Come back!”
With a wave of her hand, the blankets neatly folded themselves in midair and settled back onto the bed.
“I remember now! I’m super awesome! Punching dragon gods and kicking dragon gods, one dragon god at a time!”
She struck a heroic pose, sticking her chest out, still shining with that wisdom-filled gleam.
After a solid five seconds, she suddenly deflated.
Feeling a bit foolish.
Confused memories finally cleared up completely.
“The King of Gold… but am I the only one left?”
Fortunately, her carefree nature meant that any sorrow lasted only a couple of seconds before she moved on.
Time to see what’s outside.
