Transformed Into a Fallen Princess, I Sell Nuclear Bombs at the Beginner Village – Chapter 376

Chapter 376: I Honestly Don’t Want to Slack Off

Yuliya zoomed up to the eighth floor in a single breath.

The number of adventurers here was significantly fewer than on the previous level, and after wandering around for a while, she hadn’t run into a single soul.

This was great!

Yuliya stood still, using her senses to sweep the area, confirming everything within her immediate vicinity.

The ruins produced a substantial suppression on perception; if not for that, she could’ve seen straight down to the next level.

But now, she could only feel her surroundings up to a certain distance.

This story teaches us: even if you’re overpowered, don’t get too cocky; patches are always lurking around!

The monsters on the eighth floor had leveled up compared to the previous level, which was why the Adventurers Guild strongly recommended that Gold Level adventurers steer clear.

Plus, this level was pretty dark, filled with stone wall caves, lit only by the occasional glowing plants and minerals.

Monsters lurked in the shadows, blending with the darkness, waiting for adventurers to draw near, then striking suddenly for a swift k*ll.

Without strong perception or some detecting skills, one could easily be ambushed by unknown monsters.

And in these ruins, perception was heavily suppressed.

To sum it up: if you don’t have some serious power, good luck surviving!

But for Yuliya, this was no issue at all.

Not only was her perception top-notch, but her vision and observational skills were also stellar. In this environment, it was practically daytime for her.

And let’s not forget her most important asset: overwhelming strength.

She could just stand there, allowing them to ambush her; they could hit her for a year and still wouldn’t be able to break through her defenses.

So, she strolled along leisurely, taking her time to soak in the sights.

Hey, she was out for a trip, right?

If she could check out the earlier “Offering Ceremony”, why couldn’t she explore the ruins?

It was a place she’d never been to, so it was worth a good look around.

For instance, analyzing the formation factors, constructing a 3D model, understanding the ecological environment, and then seeing if she could whip up one of her own.

Whether it was the Golden Kingdom or Huaxia Kingdom, they never slacked off on infrastructure.

Well then, as a citizen of both nations, Yuliya definitely had to do some research!

As she glanced around, she was on the lookout for a so-called “mission point” to see what tasks were available.

Now that she was here, why not snag a bit of wool on the side?

She’d rushed through the earlier levels, but it was in the eighth floor that she began her serious exploration.

Walking along, she suddenly stopped and changed direction.

She’d just sensed something interesting over there.

Walking past a small fork, Yuliya emerged from a cave into a relatively spacious area.

In the middle of the space, a giant spider lay on its web, fast asleep.

“Whoa, looks like an elite monster.”

The spider was about six or seven meters long and wide, standing one or two meters tall, with eight long legs that looked about ten meters each.

Its white fur resembled white silk, and if this was outside, all those silk-loving weirdos would be shouting, “I could play with those legs for a year!”

But Yuliya wasn’t impressed; she just thought they were too long—kind of envy… cough! No, distracting, definitely a nuisance!

The main reason she noticed this spider was because three crystals on its head sparkled brightly.

Yuliya loved shiny things.

Especially in this dim environment.

She observed for a while.

With Gold Level high-tier strength, this spider was a bit weak.

It didn’t even notice her presence and was still snoozing like a baby.

So she took a closer look, then followed the sturdy spider silk web toward it.

By the time Yuliya stood in front of it, almost ready to poke it, this big fool was still snoozing!

But, to be fair, can you blame the spider?

Which good soul walks around making no sound at all?

Yuliya not only made no noise, not even a tiniest vibration, the space’s fluctuations were totally smoothed out.

As we all know, spiders sense their prey through vibrations in their silk, and now encountering someone like Yuliya, who was as sneaky as a ghost? They had no chance!

If it happened to open its eyes and saw someone in front of it, it probably would scream, “I’m scared to d*ath!”

But the spider continued to sleep like a baby, and Yuliya didn’t want to disturb it; instead, she stood in front of it, studying the crystals on its head.

They should be some kind of crystal integrated with the spider.

The crystals contained special energy.

Watching it wouldn’t yield any insights; maybe… should she just rip one off?

No way, if she ripped it off, the energy might leak out!

While Yuliya pondered her options, the spider suddenly twitched and slowly opened its eight bl**d-red eyes.

Upon opening its eyes, it spotted the tiny person in front of it.

The spider paused for a second, and Yuliya froze too.

“Hiss! Squee!”

In the next moment, it let out a sharp shriek.

“Too loud!”

Yuliya waved a hand, silencing it mid-scream.

“Since you’re awake, I guess there’s no turning back; let’s just take one.”

Just as Yuliya was about to make her move, she frowned slightly and turned her gaze to the cave entrance she came from.

Two people were just stepping out.

No wonder this big oaf suddenly woke up; apparently, someone had arrived and startled it.

Yuliya could sneak up close without the spider noticing, but those other folks didn’t have that skill; they’d trip the spider’s senses before entering.

The people at the entrance, upon seeing each other, also froze.

“There’s someone here!”

“Looks like it might be an adventurer captured!”

“Let’s rescue them!”

Without wasting any time, a few people charged out.

It was a team of five adventurers.

Yuliya opened her mouth, wanting to say something but holding back.

Which one of you saw me being captured? Clearly, I’m the one catching it!

When she turned back, she realized the spider had wrapped six of its legs around her, practically surrounding her.

And with its massive maw right in front of her, it honestly looked like it was ready to take a bite out of little loli!

Add to that the size difference; she was small, and it was huge, situated on its web.

Maybe… it sort of looked like she was the one being captured?

Alright then, I’ll just be the captured little princess.

You all go for it; I’m just here chilling.

The spider was an elite monster, and that five-person team looked pretty capable; they should be able to handle it.

But before slacking off, Yuliya did decide to move her little hands, ripping off a chunk of crystal.

One swordsman from the team took the lead, swinging his sword down onto the spider’s head. The other two followed up, pulling Yuliya back to protect her.

What followed was the scene of a five-person team teaming up to beat down the elite spider.

Meanwhile, Yuliya hid in the back, examining the crystal she had just ripped off.
