Yuliya zoomed up to the eighth floor in a single breath.
The number of adventurers here was significantly fewer than on the previous level, and after wandering around for a while, she hadn’t run into a single soul.

And in these ruins, perception was heavily suppressed.

But for Yuliya, this was no issue at all.

The main reason she noticed this spider was because three crystals on its head sparkled brightly.

She observed for a while.

So she took a closer look, then followed the sturdy spider silk web toward it.

If it happened to open its eyes and saw someone in front of it, it probably would scream, “I’m scared to d*ath!”
But the spider continued to sleep like a baby, and Yuliya didn’t want to disturb it; instead, she stood in front of it, studying the crystals on its head.
They should be some kind of crystal integrated with the spider.
The crystals contained special energy.
Watching it wouldn’t yield any insights; maybe… should she just rip one off?
No way, if she ripped it off, the energy might leak out!
While Yuliya pondered her options, the spider suddenly twitched and slowly opened its eight bl**d-red eyes.
Upon opening its eyes, it spotted the tiny person in front of it.
The spider paused for a second, and Yuliya froze too.
“Hiss! Squee!”
In the next moment, it let out a sharp shriek.
“Too loud!”
Yuliya waved a hand, silencing it mid-scream.
“Since you’re awake, I guess there’s no turning back; let’s just take one.”
Just as Yuliya was about to make her move, she frowned slightly and turned her gaze to the cave entrance she came from.
Two people were just stepping out.
No wonder this big oaf suddenly woke up; apparently, someone had arrived and startled it.
Yuliya could sneak up close without the spider noticing, but those other folks didn’t have that skill; they’d trip the spider’s senses before entering.
The people at the entrance, upon seeing each other, also froze.
“There’s someone here!”
“Looks like it might be an adventurer captured!”
“Let’s rescue them!”
Without wasting any time, a few people charged out.
It was a team of five adventurers.
Yuliya opened her mouth, wanting to say something but holding back.
Which one of you saw me being captured? Clearly, I’m the one catching it!
When she turned back, she realized the spider had wrapped six of its legs around her, practically surrounding her.
And with its massive maw right in front of her, it honestly looked like it was ready to take a bite out of little loli!
Add to that the size difference; she was small, and it was huge, situated on its web.
Maybe… it sort of looked like she was the one being captured?
Alright then, I’ll just be the captured little princess.
You all go for it; I’m just here chilling.
The spider was an elite monster, and that five-person team looked pretty capable; they should be able to handle it.
But before slacking off, Yuliya did decide to move her little hands, ripping off a chunk of crystal.
One swordsman from the team took the lead, swinging his sword down onto the spider’s head. The other two followed up, pulling Yuliya back to protect her.
What followed was the scene of a five-person team teaming up to beat down the elite spider.
Meanwhile, Yuliya hid in the back, examining the crystal she had just ripped off.
